  1. Even if you were able to get the non-o visa I don't think you would ever be here long enough to apply for a one year extension of stay. Your best option now would be to apply for a multiple entry non-o visa based upon marriage at Thai embassy or official consulate. Now that you can easily enter Laos you could apply for the multiple entry non-o visa at the consulate in Savannakhet Laos. The multiple entry visa allows unlimited 90 day entries for a year from the day it is issued.
  2. I am not sure what you are asking about. You can get a a one year extension without a work permit if that is what you wanting to know. It can be based upon retirement for example.
  3. I don't understand why you are only staying for 18 days and wanting to apply for non immigrant visa that allows a 90 days stay. After getting the visa you would need a re-entry permit to keep the remainder of the 90 days when your enter again. I don't think you would have time to do the application when only entering for 18 days. Sometimes it takes more than 15 days to have the visa issued.
  4. You are confusing non-o visa applications with extensions of stay. All non immigrant visa application have have to be approved at the district level of immigration and that is why the minimum of 15 days remaining on your stay.
  5. Unless you get a Non-OA visa you will not need medical insurance. You would only need covid 19 insurance required to enter the country.
  6. You can apply for a non-o visa for retirement that will allows a 90 day stay with a visa exempt entry or tourist visa that is the first step Requirements are here: https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/9.FOR-RETIREMENT-PURPOSES-50-YEARS-OLD-NON-O.pdf The during the last 30 days of the 90 days you can apply for a one year extension of stay. You will need 800k baht in a Thai bank for 2 months on the day you apply.
  7. Only if you apply to the embassy in London. No embassy or official consulate near to here is using the e visa site.
  8. If your OA visa was still valid immigration would probably use it instead of a re-entry permit (if immigration would issue it).
  9. It has been a problem for many people since many embassies and official consulates do not include family members in their list of visas since covid 19 started. Some have had to apply for the non-o visa at immigration for retirement and then apply for the extension for being a family member of the person with the extension. Now that the borders have opened a trip to Laos may be best. That is what people were doing before.
  10. The problem in OP's case is that is wife was getting extension for being a member of his family. That non-o visa cannot be applied for at immigration (is not on the list).
  11. A certificate or the policy is needed for proof. There are Thai companies offering it (650 baht for 30 days). See: https://tqm-app.com/static/thailandpass/index.html
  12. Your children could travel and enter Thailand using their expired passports. When checking in for the flight to here they would show both passports. And then enter as Thais using their expired passports. Then after arriving here they could apply for new passports.
  13. You can apply for your children's visas using your registration. For financial proof you would show the equivalent of 40k baht for a family entering the country. Have you looked user manual for help? https://thaievisa.go.th/static/English-Manual.pdf
  14. You can apply or a non-b visa at immigration after getting a covid 19 extension since it is a extension of your visa exempt entry. You have to get the 30 day extension before you can happy for a covid 19 extension.
  15. A Thailand Pass in not required when transiting. They will need proof of $10,000 of corvid 19 insurance.
  16. I don't think you really want a STV that allows a 90 day entry and two 90 day extensions. You appear to be asking about a single entry tourist visa (SETV). You might want to check on applying for a single entry non-o visa. The visa has to applied for online. https://thaievisa.go.th/
  17. You cannot have your extensions restated anywhere. You will have to start all over again by getting new non-o visas and then new extensions of stay.
  18. You could apply a non immigrant visa at immigration if you can qualify for one. There would be no other type of extension of stay you could apply for.
  19. The airline may want to see a ticket out of the country within 30 days. It can be a one-way ticket to anywhere. You can also find sites offering temporary onward tickets online for around $12. Immigration will not normally ask for proof of accommodation but if needed your rental agreement would be accepted.
  20. You should not have a problem entering visa exempt with your history. Those that had problems were for a long time on covid 19 extensions and/or dodgy visas issued here and extensions of stay.
  21. Not visa or extension related. Moved to the Isaan forum for local input.
  22. You could use the address you used to get your extension or a previous 90 day report.
