  1. It would work after you do your first 90 day report in person. It could also depend upon which office the agent uses for your non-o visa and extension of stay. You would have to change your address to the immigration office for where your are living.
  2. You need a non-o visa based upon marriage or non-b visa to apply for the one year extension of stay based upon marriage or working (non-b) for a company. You can get a work permit with a non-o visa and a extension based upon marriage. The 40k baht income is for a extension based upon marriage. You can apply for either visa at immigration with the correct supporting documents. It will not easy to apply for a work permit with visa exempt entry.
  3. Yes he can. Immigration should really accept a year of transfers for the non-o visa application. A simple line in the rules stating a year of transfers would be allowed.
  4. Transfers of 65k baht will not be accepted for a non-o visa application at immigration. They will only accept income proof from a embassy.
  5. Like all immigration office they are open from 8:30 to 4:30 and closed for lunch from 12 to i. Closed on weekends and holidays. The address appears to be correct. This one is more exact I think 71 Moo 3 Sanambin Road
  6. Some embassies take a while since it is a requirement for them to get confirmation the country they represent that a person is not married already.
  7. June 3rd is a Thai holiday. You can go to immigration on the 2nd and it may be approved by then.
  8. Do the divorce and be prepared to cancel your extension and apply for a new one based upon working the same or next day it is final.
  9. You should have your stamps transferred at immigration. No need to carry you old passport that way.
  10. No You applied for a non-o visa that will allow a 90 day stay in the country. When your return on June 7th will do the visa stamp and a new entry stamp for 90 days. Then during the last 30 days of the 90 days your can apply for a one year extension of stay.
  11. Did your read my earlier post? You can change the reason for your extension of stay from marriage to one based upon working. It is something that is often done. No need to get a non-b visa to apply for the new extension. You work permit will not need be changed if was issued based upon your current job and employer.
  12. The embassy in Vientiane will issue a non-b visa. You have to make an appointment and the requirements for the visa is on the site. https://thaivisavientiane.com/# The site was closed for appointments until recently.
  13. The email the stickerless visa to you. When enter the country you show it to immigration and they will stamp you into the country for 60 days.
  14. Yes They changed the rule for online reporting over 2 years ago. See this on the new site. https://tm47.immigration.go.th/manual/IndexForeign.html
  15. Immigration does not normally ask for that when applying for the non-o visa. If needed might be able get a statement from a Thai government official such a the village headman or komnan for where you are living.
  16. You would not change from a non-o visa to a non-b visa. That can only be done by leaving the country. You can change the reason for your extension of stay from marriage to one based upon working for a company. Normally immigration would not do the change until shortly before your current extension ends. But with proof you are in the process of getting divorced they would do it.
  17. A online report can be done up to the report date. There is no 7 days before requirement.
  18. For as long as I have been able to do 90 day reports online I have been doing them early and the new report date is 90 days from when I do the report.
  19. There is no waiting period to register a marriage after getting divorced for a man. A freedom to marry statement from a embassy would still be needed.
  20. You can apply for a non-o visa or extension of stay based upon being the parent of a Thai. To apply for the one year extension you would need at least 2 months of salary proven by payment of taxes.
  21. You can get a visa on arrival there. It was problem with both sides at the bridge not being ready for reopening. I am confident that Savannakhet will be issuing a multiple entry non-o visa and may being doing it now. The bridge is open at Mukdahan and the Lao online visa site it open now and it can be used there.
  22. I think the problem now may be entering Myanmar. Mae Sot is the only crossing on the Thailand Pass site. Laos would be a choice if you went to the crossing from Chiang Rai. It is scheduled to open on June 1st since they were not prepared on both sides of the bridge there.
  23. That happened on the old online reporting site due to the approval needed after submitting page one of the report. The new site only has one page to summit the report and it is sent to your local office for approval.
  24. The new online reporting site is much better than the old one. You should give it a try. There will no longer be a problem with getting a new passport. Website for for the new site. https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/login
