I have corrected my post. I left out part of what I meant to write. The correct terminology for a 60 day extension is to visit your Thai wife or child. Same for the one year extension. You could apply for the 60 day extension and then the one year extension. If you are still working you could do the change to a one year extension you could use your income from working if it is 40k baht or more.

ubonjoe replied to ExpatOilWorker's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The rules state you report up to 7 days after the report date and it includes the report date in the count. From the immigration website. "4. The notification must be made within 15 days before or after 7 days the period of 90 days expires." Source: https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?page_id=1666 -
Visa run from Khao yai?
ubonjoe replied to wannabeamonk's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It will be a non-r visa and then a extension of stay for studying Buddhism.. Edit: It be under this clause of the immigration order. -
I think the got visa exempt entry not a tourist visa from a embassy or consulate. They can apply for a 30 day extension and then a one year extension of stay based upon being a returning Thai national. Proof of their Thai nationality will be need. A birth certificate showing their mother is Thai will be accepted. Where was the child born? I assume they were born in the US. Their mother should register their birth at a Amphoe to get entered on a house book registry so they can get a Thai passport to use for their next entry to Thailand.

Is the border to Vientiane open now?
ubonjoe replied to GoGet's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You need a vaccination certificate or a negative covid test to enter Laos. No proof is needed for entry to Thailand. You can get the Laso visa online if you want to. https://laoevisa.gov.la/index -
You could get another visa exempt entry at a border crossing as long as it you have already done 2 of them this year. I suggested a border run service to make it easier transport wise to a crossing. But they do make it much easier to do the crossing and can help to insure your don't have problems getting your new entry.

E-VISA & VISA EXTENSION BASED ON MARRIAGE
ubonjoe replied to sidleonard's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
YA copy of your wife's tambien ban registry (page 1 and the page she is registered on) and ID card is needed as one of the normal requirements for a extension based upon. No need to use your wifes sisters tambien ban or anything else related to her. You will need a rental agreement and copies of the owners tambien ban and ID card signed by them. You will need a map from the nearest main road or intersection to your residence. The address for you current residence will be put on the TM7 form. A re-entry permit is only needed if you plan on traveling and has nothing to do with your extension application. You will need to do a report of staying longer than 90 days in the country 90 days from the day you apply for the extension. Here is my general list of requirements for the extension application. You could do a border hop a Ban Laem to get a 45 day visa exempt entry.

immigration rules now..
ubonjoe replied to Harveyboy's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
For a one months stay there would be no reason to do a TM30 report since she will not be doing anything at immigration after getting a visa exempt entry. -
I am not familiar with that crossing. Are you sure your wrote it correctly? Which province is it in.

When doing your report after a trip out the country you need to remember to put your new arrival date on the report. -
