You can do another report. I always wait a day or so after I get the email. By my count it is longer than 15 days before the report date. I use 2 weeks before for my counting.

You need to do your 90 day reports to the office where you applied for the extension unless your fromally change you address to another office. Same for applying for a new extension. You can do 90 day reports online from anywhere to your registered office.

It is a option but transport from the other side of the bridge to Savannakhet might be difficult to find.

You a can apply for a single re-entry permit to keep the remainder of the 90 day stay valid when you enter the country. After you apply for a one year extension of stay during the last 30 days of the 90 days you can apply for a multiple re-entry permit.

The embassy cannot transfer anything to your new passport. You will need to go to immigration with both passports to have your stamps transferred. You will need copies of both passport photo pages and copies of your visa and extension stamp in your old passport.
