Out of fear? Do you mean the people on the island or the friends of victims?
What an exceedingly convenient explanation. Absolutely every single person living on the island will never talk. The friends of the victims aren't talking either. All out of fear or ignorance....littlebw, on 31 Oct 2014 - 10:24, said:I think it is time that any residents on Koh Tao to tell anything they know about that night - i know they wont tell the RTP due to mistrust but surely an appeal could be put out with an free english number to phone ( surely the parents / lawyers could do this)
I cannot understand why there is no conclusive evidence showing nomsod on the island( photos , witnesses seeing him in bar etc)
I am hoping that all British witnesses have told the police in england

The island residents will never talk, and I think we all know the reason why. As for the tourists, they may not have known who he was and therefore won't realise the significance if any photos exist.
Neither make any sense
Neither does that, who did you mean please answer the question who did you mean with regards to fear?

I think the interview Sean had with Scotland Yard will be far more important than the one in a tabloid newspaper.
I wouldn't mind betting that if an interview did happen the the Mail will have been politely asked not to publish until after the inquest in JanuaryJust reading Mail on Sunday still no published interview with Sean. I have decided to email them and ask if one was done and when it will be published.
He's not in UK boris he said he was in Italy, don't know if they will have been out there to him?

Interested to see mails response to darloknight though.

Keep us informed darlo.
Will do, don't expect much back from them but it's worth a go.

I have foreign nationals working for the company I work for from the EU, there is a few weeks waiting time now and they have to go to the nearest jobcentre plus for an interview they do not get this via telephone or post. They are made to bring in proof of application for NI number so I have seen many appointment confirmation letters.
Also they do not issue in cards anymore. -
This result was predictable.
Not to change the subject but WTH happened to McAnna? Did the Thai mafia track him down in Italy? Have the Brits questioned him and offered him protection to give up whatever it is he knows?
McAnna very quiet now, last I herd he had done an interview with Mail on Sunday, still waiting for this to be published.

Really?JD, hotel rooms are not people.
People are people. That includes the official population. The workers. The migrant workers. The foreign workers. The tourists.
Hence up to 15000 at any given time.
Mmm that reminds me of a song "people are people so why should it be you and I should get along so awfully"
Sorry mods!

Good point as in my part of the world we just pick up any old phone and use that, so clearly if his number was being used in that area in the early hours of the morning anyone could have been using it.the protected ones phone records would put an end to all speculation whether he was on the island or not that evening
Do we have to go through this again?
The phone records will only show where the phone was, unless it had to be surgically removed from his body.
Clearly if it was your family member you wouldn't be expecting the police to look into this. Never know why police bother with such pointless information in the West.
But this is looked into in must crimes as I quoted earlier the Dewani case the oscar case these were all examined not locations but records of calls and texts.

I will admit you are right, I suppose no one is ever going to know the truth at this rate.Darlo,
It is strange. A glaring hole in the conspiracy theorists basis for existing.
Part of the problem would be finding anyone who actually had something to contribute. Anyone that saw a fight etc.
I personally would take issue with this guy and another well-known and oft-ignored commenter referring to the vast majority disagreeing with his own spit-and-toilet-paper theories "conspiracy theorists." Using such derogatory phrases to refer to people you disagree with discredits your own views. His have been roundly, thoroughly (if not completely) discredited already, though he appears to spend 20 hours a day mostly trying to confuse the issue.
You'll notice I'm not making absolutist statements about his views like he does with others. That's called thinking like an adult ha ha. I've personally put this guy on ignore due the very high noise-to-signal ratio in his posts. But he keeps popping up where others (mostly foolishly imo) engage him.
Trust me, your sincerity in doing so is not being appreciated or reciprocated.
I really do not care what jd thinks of me, since commenting on here I have been threatened with rape and called awful names. We are all are entitled to and an opinion and I can admit when I am wrong.
I just want the truth like everyone else, I have a daughter and would be pushing everyone's buttons to find the truth.

ask them?
So why not out Sean's interview to print?
There would be absolutely no reason to withhold interviews and statements in the UK after all the people are home. In fact, it would not be legal to not allow statements to the press.
The British media have been very quiet no interviews with friends who were there at the time, also Sean gave an interview with the Mail on Sunday this as not been published yet! I get the feeling they have been told to hold off because they know more than us, I expect a big explosion with in the British media once the truth is allowed to be told. Why don't the British authorities get a DNA sample from the parents of the two suspects --no need to involve the RTP I am surprised that the British media haven't done it themselves seeing the interest in the UKThis is a glaring hole in the conspiracy theories.
Funny (not) any way if I am right I expect an apology

Not without a court order. That requires probable cause.
You see this is what I don't understand, I know it's a different case and in a different country but the Dewani murder trial in SA at the minute are going through phone records and text messages, surely it can be done in any country?the protected ones phone records would reveal where he was during the time period
cant be that hard to "persuade" someone at DTAC,AIS,TRUE to print you out a copy
No probable cause exists for someone that has been cleared.
What about the accused phones?
