Bangkok’s dark secrets to be revealed in a new Thai-made Netflix series
lujanit replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
So this series will be all about the widespread corrupt cops? -
If this is going to anything like the Netflix documentary aired about a year ago you can bet your last cent it will be more Yankee propaganda. That so-called doco was a disgrace to both Thais and other international volunteers. The Australian doctor who was instrumental in the rescue was mentioned in the last line of the doco as a passing thought.

Signs of improving COVID-19 situation in Thailand
lujanit replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The junta has is using the 'if you throw enough sh$$t at the fan eventually some will stick' routine. The manufacturing of daily figures has been evident for a while now. Not including positive rapid antigen tests in the daily figures is one example. The sooner this junta is thrown out of office, jailed for life and all their assets confiscated the better for Thailand. Sadly I don't see this happening soon.- 125 replies

How many customers will restaurants get if they demand proof of double vaccination? Methinks a lot of places will ignore that requirement just to make some money.- 181 replies

Thailand reports 17,984 COVID-19 cases, 292 more deaths
lujanit replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
You actually believe the figures put out by this pseudo government? They need to get the figures down so they can open the country by October 1. So they massage the figures in their favour. -

Thailand in talks to buy COVID-19 vaccines from European nations
lujanit replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
On orders of the covid czar Uncle Too we will continue to manipulate the figures in our favour. The truth you don't want to know. It will make us look like we don't have control over the situation. -
Hmmm, denatured ethanol is made principally to get around excise. The addition of methanol (or other similar additives) which makes the consumption poisonous makes ethanol non-taxable. This has been doing the rounds of social media for a while now. It is an extension of spraying parcels delivered to home by spraying them first. People who don't know any better and who can't think logically subscribe to this nonsense.

Dr. Paradon at St. Louis Hospital (Surasak, on the Bang Wa BTS line) is an ophthalmologist who has all sorts of equipment. Last I used him 1600 baht for a comprehensive consultation. Speaks excellent English.

Thai Government May Ease Some COVID-19 Restrictions Next Month
lujanit replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Ah, we have to open by October 1 so we should start to loosen restrictions soon. We have manipulated the numbers of positive cases in our favour. So forward my brothers and sisters. Let us show the world how you really control a pandemic. Resign now you pathetic creep, surely have your overseas bank account filled with enough corrupt money to last you until you are dead. -
If you don't test and artificially control the numbers the result is meaningless. You may get the numbers you want yet we know what is really going on.
