  1. First post on this site, but found this site to be quite interesting.

I am starting to think about quitting work sometime relatively soon and moving to Chiang Mai maybe to retire early or at least maybe on a semi-retired basis. Have to still do more planning to work out the numbers and see when I can swing it financially. But, I have started to price rentals in Chiang Mai and am quite surprised at the relatively high rents being asked for on some websites. I do see a wide wide range of what you get for your money, so that definitely means one has to do a lot of work and due diligence in shopping around.

    1. Seems houses are generally a better deal than condos, as I see condos often asking higher prices than many houses, which seems odd. Maybe this is due to association dues and costs to run the condo place are higher if there are guards, pool, etc.

Agents get 1-2 months rent- best to go direct to owners and negotiate direct. Agents will always try get more. Eg. Agents wanted 14,000bt on house currently in....negotiate direct to get 9000bt. Simply put- agents are a bit greedy. Yet understand they need to make a buck- but it is Thailand the fees they charge are a disconnect compared to homeland. Agents should have fixed rates for places below 20K bt pm and another for over- like 7.5K bt and 15K bt is fair. Yet they get triple this--we pay for it. Commercially speaking they cannot do anything if they bypassed- yet some get nasty and get debt collectors onto owners. You can ask the agent to cut their fees right in front of the owner and you will take the place for XYZ. The owner will tell the Agent how much they will give them, agent really must accept.

    2. Still, I see some condos that seem very overpriced. Some very nice ones going for $45,000 B/ month, or more. This seems way overpriced for Chiang Mai or maybe I had the wrong idea. I think maybe this is also due to rentals being listed on English sites, so directed at foreigners who they assume will pay a premium. So, I think maybe having a Thai friend check some Thai listings would result in finding lower prices. Can anyone confirm?

Houses for my money in a very good Moobarn like Regent or Languna, etc have good deal. Time the house been vacant VERY IMPORTANT... but some owners rich and do not care. So same house type exactually in same Moo Barn I have seen one person pay 25K bt pm whilst another paid 12K bt. Large disconnect and you will feel hard done by and regret decision if do not look around a great deal. Knowing others and getting recommendations is also a BIG BONUS.

    3. I also see a very high cost of monthly rent versus purchase price. I see this on some that have rent or buy option or just by comparing something close. Some seem to have a high rent as compared to the cost to buy, so renting in 8-9 years would cover the total purchase price. And while I am not looking to buy anytime soon, at least until I have lived there some time, but I also dont see very good rent vs buy costs.

Not true- as above a large disconnect between rental prices. I feel sick to think what prices I used to pay compared to know- knowing others and thorough research of deals is best. I know a couple in our Moo Barn that will worth taking a look at. Near Meechok Rimping. Once again some sit their forever as rich landlord does not care if rents, whilst others NEED the income. Houses you can rent approx. 4% yield pa stand...pay over and you over paying in general. Pay under and you getting good deal. Once again large disconnect in house prices. Can only go off last supposed price of similar house sold in Moo Barn.

Condos you pay higher yield as higher fees for Landlord. Eg. Maintenance, taxes, etc. Yet without doubt Condo owners in GOOD complexes make very good yields. They more sort after and maintenance free. Once again one man can pay 20K bt pm and another 15K bt. As anyone we try to get the highest price we can as owners, lowest as renters. Offer to pay 6 months in advances and pay 6 monthly has worked in getting the cost WAY WAY down for me. Yet it is a risk, as you may have dogs everywhere and loud and cannot sleep. Must be sure before an offer like this...

    4. As in any city, I know the cost differs of course by location and those right by the downtown area, night markets would pay a premium. However, I can be somewhat flexible on location and dont need to be right next to the night bazaar or other popular tourist areas. But, I would like a fairly nice place, so not looking for a budget place. And I would be looking for 1 or 2 BR place.

Many many.......houses typically 3 bed 2\3 bath in good estates.... look a bit more spectacular than the single stories 2 bed 2 bath in general. I like 2 stories as bottom storey stays nice and cool without too much air con. Air con in each bedroom, office i find essential in months from March- Oct.

I would be interested to hear others comments on the rental market. Condo versus house, and the observations I made above. I read also that the utilities can be overcharged in a condo unit by the owner, whereas a house you would deal directly with the utility with no additional mark up. Thanks a lot.

That hard as have no idea what is suited to you- maintenance free, garden, pool, sports centre in estate, self contained building, etc, etc the list goes on. Must hire gardeners or do yourself in a house- more care and attention usually. Condos easier as usually comes with all internet, cable, etc, etc. House you need to do all yourself. Feel free to PM if need My 2 cents worth... also some will offer to show you places in general expect they are acting as agents even when state they are not. Put simply you wish to talk direct to owner, if they do not allow for whatever reason- move on. Hope helps out. Cheers Jay

  2. Nearly a decade to this day I felt the same way... only gets better from here. Yet would recommend you come with OK cash in bank, or work over internet. etc. Doing biz or working in Thai is not so hot until u a long termer IMO.

Or you have an online biz, etc as many do here. Would not really recommend teaching full time as not good bucks unless u get into International school if have Masters, etc... needs some planning. When I went back to homeland a decade ago I cashed in my couple of houses and came back. Took sometime to get a good income and get to know the system well. Also learning the language and culture a must if doing business if you not retiring. Came here in mid 20s- best decision ever made. Life changing positive move. Yet was a very rocky road in first 2 years and several rocky relationships- now I think all is cool. Off\on for a decade- mostly on now...It is great but u will have serious culture shock IME

    Cheers Jay

  3. Can I have the details of rental guy... who rent approx $300 pm. As most are seriously over double this amount. All insured is a bonus, as did not know these rent an older type car guys really take out correct insurance.

In regards to buying Vs renting.... CMai prices are very high on even 1990s cars for the most part. 200k bt for half decent beast seems bottom dollar. Like 96-2002 Corolla\Civic\etc I hear a select couple of guys rent out below $300 pm.

My mate thinks much less hassle simply renting- I buy but I am here 9 from 12 months always. So for me... less hassle to buy. Each to their own.

Yet rental car that good is great price under 300 bucks pm. Would be great if anyone can shoot me a few more details on cheaper rental guys. As any repairs, etc is all on the owner- rego- insurance- etc all on the owner. So I understand where he is coming from when he may only need for 3 months, but thinks may get amazing deal if offers 4-5 months rental in advance. Does not think he will be here 6 months.

Sure thing- if you sure u here for more than a year- BUY. Yet cars never go up they purely a liability. Whereas other investments a different matter.... $300pm and someone takes care of everything is great

    Cheers Jay

  4. I saw someone talk about rental guys on TV; renting out cars on long term deals for down to 9-10000K bt pm. As a mate after an 7+ yr old car under 10K bt for 3-6 months.

Anyone know of these guys who seem to have a dozen odd older cars for rent?

Newer cars do not seem to go down under 18-20K bt pm even on a very long deal or 3 months upfront plus Bond.

    Cheers Jay

  5. Transferring over $100,000 to Thai from Aussie for investment purposes. In the past simply transferred to Thai bank. I have heard you can negotiate a better rate near the private money changers??? Is this correct. Yet never as good as the better private money changers in Thailand. I was annoyed at the bank rate last time compared to what I got from Super Rich for 20k. Adding it up the baht difference cost me 60-70k bt- not chicken feed by any stretch.

I have only been game enough to transport $20000 in cash to Thai per time then change at Super Rich. Even Super Rich or SK can give slightly better on more than 10k per time. Not likely to carry 50-100k on me... declaring it or not !!!

What are the best options to literally get more bang for your buck..... Every 0.1 bt counts with these amounts.

    Cheers Jay

  6. Initially thought this was some sort of code for Crystal Meth.... snort this and that.... I was thinking I am sure most smoke or inject- Lol.

Anyway I found the ladies at the THAPEA Gate Pharmacy on the inner old city side have nearly all a Farang asks for... they will understand your needs.

Not the drug- the Menthol I mean.....Lol. They not into selling illegal drugs.

    Cheers Jay

  7. They in capsules.... great to lose an easy 5-6 kgs fat in a month. Yet when stop taking you feel hungry again and your METABOLIC rate goes back to normal.

Cheapest option is to get 40mg capsules then open them up and eat half of the powder inside- if anxiety, etc appear- take a third or quarter of 40mg tablet. It will go away.

Truck drivers in Farang countries often use them to stay awake but they take far more- as truck drivers here are said to take Yaa Baa.... amphetitmine. It has a derivative of amphet's in it so some drug stores will never give. As Amphet makers can derive what they need from the capsules.

Anyway once I got them from a Drug Store at Thapae gate, if no go then goto a Diet centre in CMai and they all have Phentermine. If looking at inner city from Thapea Gate go approx. 200 metre down the road on the right and they in a Drug store at that daily market. Approx Soi 8 moon maung- naturally a small shop. Should be approx. 1200bt for 30x 40mg tablets. Which is really enough for 6-8 weeks.... then stop so no addiction occurs. As I know a few people who take a 6 week course every 6 months to lose 6-8 kgs each time. Yes it the lazy or faster way to do yet it what they wish. If do not up your exercise (Calorie input\output) it will come back nearly as fast as the fat disappeared.

    Good luck.

  8. Bash at San Sai Noi- Meechok Rimping area.

Have not got a clue what 3.5 or 4.0 means- I guess it is US. Anyway anyone interested in San Sai Noi area- good court at Languna Home Sports centre i was hoping to have a bash at regularly.

Do not care the level as long as you can hit the ball over the net- lol. Not like my misses who cannot.....

PM if interested in a knock....Cheers Jay

  9. I do not know how any Farang is getting Finance in this country, unless it in a Thai partners name. The Thai partner then responsible and it owned by them. Even if you put 50% down now. Never been able to convince a Finance company to lend to me here. If you putting book in your name then asking them to put down 200k or whatever then they at risk of you selling and taking off.

However if they leasing to you and essentially you leasing from them then you are not the owner and it is a leasing arrangement that many thais do with BMW's, etc. Rules in this case ask higher deposits from Farang....typically only for new cars. If you take off they should be up 20-30% anyway. I have never done but would suggest that they will do this on the condition you pay the 1st class insurance. In the case you write it off then take off. They not silly- would you lend big money to a Farang you do not know.....for that matter to a Farang you do know that it not close family......

  10. Phentermine increases metabolic by nearly double- far cheaper. Yet it acts like a stimulant so some get anxiety or increased heart rate. As it comes with a semi high it can be addictive, some drug store sell in CMai.

Xenical is sold nearly everywhere yet even genetics are very expensive. Yet as suggested people can plan better- like take one hour before main meal of the day being 60mg. They are sold in 60mg tablets as well- typically half the price.

Xenical does not increase fat burning via increased Metabolic rate- digests less fat and more fat passes through. Will not help much if you UP your sugars, etc. Most overweight people do not succeed on this product but as one person here lost 12kg- they had a great method... being little fat before evening main meal.... one tablet before main meal. Then over half the fat content of the meal will come out as waste and not be stored on the body. Not a bad plan, if no cheating. It can be a good AID for weight lose.

Phentermine is recommended for only 4-6 weeks per time, go for low release if select this in weight lose centres around town or drug stores, as some will hit will a high then low to normal metabolic rate after only 3 hours. You want the slow release to last 20 hours. Av. fat loss on this medicine is more than double Xenical but not for everyone. As you do feel more on edge, do not take more than 20mg I would recommend. Popped a 40mg and was running all over the place day\night. Yet depends on the individual- it does create a high if too much taken. It also classed as a cognitive enhancing drug, I guess some would class x5 coffees the same. Anyway you do not feel like eating at all, so you eat all the good stuff you need. Av. weight lose in 6 weeks with no further exercise is 6-8kg. Which is amazingly high. Typically only prescribed to those 30kg overweight being classed as obese. Yet body builders use it in their getting CUT phase in last week before a comp. This is Thailand so not as strict on the rules.

  11. I lived in both 15K pm Condos and 15K pm houses. I guess for under 10K pm you get a 2 bed 1 or 2 bath in OK area.... most working or retired farang expats seem to be around San Sai. Mee Chok Rimping area especially. I think under 10k house will be hard to find in good estates around this area- most i know pay approx. 15k for a decent place in a decent Moo Barn. Some find an extraordinary bargain. As we did when offerred a better place than was staying in for 9K bt pm, so moved out of a good 16k pm place and into a better 9k pm place at mate's rates. Good deal.

Better deals in Hang Dong or little further out... I seen some in huge and good farang style estates for 5k pm. Yet they are further out. Airport area can have a few bargains.

Yet if you want inner city living then Condos are best... as any available houses will be crap or small thai style shop houses for under 10k pm.

For me Meechok Rimping area has best of all worlds- access to all a farang will want plus decent Moo Barns with good housing. Yet thankfully it not inner city- so up to the individual. Some like the Huay Gow and Nimma region for a bit more youngster action. Many farang families and retirees out San Sai way especially. More quiet and air fresher to me. Still can pop into city 6 km whenever wish by car, motorbike, song tow, tuk tuk, etc. Any drinking and\or social night I will Song tow in and not drive. Also driving into town peak times and festival times is a killer...

Investment wise- I cannot take paying owners of Condo's over 8% return, like you do on Nimma and Huay Gow... House wise you mostly paying 4-5% of house value pa, unless great deal and snap one up for 3% odd. Owners naturally think their house approx. 50% more than they could actually sell for... so the return can be relative. You will find amazing differences in price for very similar houses.

I would now say that brokers charge a pretty high premium. As a broker was trying to get 14k pm for the one I now have for 9K bt pm. Yet basically i find the difference is approx. 20% higher with real estate agents. As they want 2 months for a 1 year contract. When in fact they should charge a fixed rate of 5-10K dependent on the house to be worth going through an agent. So if you can go direct to owner- this is always far better. My 2 cents... after a decade in CMai on\off. Mostly on...

    Cheers Jay

  12. Yes will take the supposed 'Lose of Face' and hunt around for another. 2nd hand car dealers are notorious anywhere- just a matter of knowing what u want for approx. price.

Think the place was called Good Car on the Hwy going towards Chan Puak.... was recommended to go there by a guy who bought a Carryboy 4 years ago. Now just resold for only 60,000bt depreciation in 4 years- good deal.

However I have had as much as 120,000bt difference quoted for the same car, in the same place yet different sales people. When you talking only a 350K to 450K bt car then it a lot. Over the last couple of weeks I find Thai ladies quote far higher than men. In general... the girls are the ones who think we all silly mega millionaires- Lol.

    Cheers Jay

  13. I have found the last 5 years have not been to bad for Condo investment if you buy in popular Farang condos. Management is very important IMO.

Mangement in terms of Condos and Moo Barns can make or break your Condo or other property investment in my experience.

A couple of guys I know renovate condos from more Thai style to Farang but the little amount of money made does not seem to be worth the effort. Most profit eaten in transfer taxes.

Anyway I have found Riverside not bad return in last 5 years. Hillside you can make 8% returns.... similar to other popualr farang Condo buildings. The key is being buy popular Farang or Asian retiree Condos- foreigners retirement locales.

As many believe CMai will gain far more Japan, HK, SNG, and Korean retirees, as well as some farangs. Yet more growth in Asian retirees expected from wealthier Asian countries. Farang retirees growth is predicted to grow more steady.

Investment wise political issues maybe a concern going forward, as a few bargains popped up in troubling times of recent past. Thailand in general may continue to ride the huge growth wave, as they did in the 90's some predict. the last year been especially high growth- could be the start of another 90s bubble, or not.

    Cheers Jay

  14. I have been bewildered by the approach of 2nd hand car dealers. As they do not even seem to have to CAR Owner BOOKS for me to make sure of the Year model, etc.

My experience in the last 5 years in buying cars and condos has been to ONLY hand over money when the registry office changing the car\condo into your name. Good advice from long term Farangs from CMai.

Recent experience was to purchase a Honda City that is 3 years old. Now the price started at 480,000bt and we got all the way down to 400,000bt. Comparing on the various websites as I negoitated was very helpful. The closest in price on the Internet seemed to be approx. 460,000bt down in BKK. I was negoitating based on giving CASH TODAY and all seemed fine.

So the deal was all done in everyones mind and my family all very happy and excited- extended family all take for a drive and it turns into a 2 day social activity- the Thai way i have found. They take car down to Buddist temple to bless, etc, etc. Then orgainized with my Insurance man for 1st class insurance for 14k bt pa to cover for 400,000bt- another good deal I felt. I always think of Insurance like gamble that you will crash. So I work out the odds and figure I have less than a 1 in 30 chance of a accident or car stolen. With current car worth 120k bt I do not bother...

Anyway getting back on topic; as we all ready to go to car rego office and I organized the cash...... the salesman then informs me that he currently does not have the owners book and I must wait 1 or 2 weeks. So asks for 250,000bt to hold the car for me- now I am not that stupid to give anything until being changed over into my name.

Then informs me he does not have the owners phone number and will need to track down. What the hell is going on I am thinking.... when refusing to pay the 250k bt Thais think I no longer wish to buy. Yet family understand I never pay until we in rego office with signed contract and book transferiing into my name with no problems.

The place looks highly professional with no cars over 5 yo and they have approx. 40 cars on the strip.

Is this a consignment type sales yard, where people simply leave car then get sales guys to sell. Then supply book when they get a price they accept.

ALSO in my experience the owner needs to sign off on the transfer of ownership. But the owner gone to work in Singapore, so what is going on here. Anyone else experienced such a drawn out sage. Many items seem to get dragged out in any half decent purchase. Half truths, miscommunication between Thais and exaggerations seem very normal.

Have no idea where I now stand- awaiting to see the book then go into the Car transfer office sometime next week. Yet I state to family we might as well view other cars in the meantime. They say BUT YOU made a deal to buy, you must keep deal or lose face. What tha.... no book, no owner, I have no idea what will happen.... as far as I am concerned the deal failed and need to look for another car. Yet Thai family think I verbally committed- Lol. Oh boy what a saga again.... no wonder I put off buying seriously larger items here. When i cannot get my head around the drawn out process and need to socialize in every single deal.

If the Honda City was not a little over half the price as new I would not bother. I find very RARE that a car depreciates this quickly in Thailand. What appear too good to be true usually is- much to my frustration.

I speak good enough Thai and read dozens of cultural books, etc, etc yet I still find the process very difficult even after on\off near a decade here. Any thoughts whether i should wait to see what is going on with the great honda city deal?

    Cheers Jay

  15. You probably asking this Question as you have slipped up a few too many times when drunk with hoas or whatever... i tried to look into the statistics in depth a few years ago for similar reasons.

It more difficult for a man to catch unless it gay sex for the most part. Many do not like to discuss statistics as professionals have noted that it will make men feel more freedom to spread an unprotected seed. Naturally oral is digested and you can catch if blood in the fluids, which is often the case.

Any sores, abrasions, etc on genitils you more likely to catch.

Anyway you want real numbers yes? Women are over 60x more likely to catch from a HIV infected man than vice versa. You can guess the reasons easy enough... as you getting a good load of blood cells in your body.

No risk via kissing, insect bites, etc (That is known) as not enough of the virus to live and spread in your body. Unless of course a bleeding sore or wound on both parties, etc. Exceptional circumstances category. Oral given to women very low unless period time or sore producing more blood cells. Sperm has plenty enough blood cells to make a man or women infected if injected.

Yet if you play high risk long enough it will get you sooner or later- or Hep C or much easier to get diseases. But yes women much higher risk when unprotected- now do not think u can be free and easy with your seed as you have a lower chance- lol.

  16. Restaurant open until 4:15pm, outlets until 9pm.

Often treat myself when coming back from the city every other day. You can call to make orders then pick up if large or custom requests I have found. Large blueberry pie, etc. As large gear often not stocked and upon a order.

Grab a couple very soft fudgies are great if you spending an extra hour in the gym at least- lol.

More in the store than on the website menu I have found....

  17. Lately I have seen extremely good rates for TT's. I know it costs 1.1% for a TT to be issued yet as far as I know that is the full cost.

Whilst it may not compete with non bank money changers like Super Rich or SK it gather the safest bet in transfering large sums in person.

TT's seem to get 3-4% or so better rates. Any views on money transfers of over 20k per time.

Eg. I found banks with a AUD rate of 30bt per $1... yet TT being 31bt. Yet Super RIch was still 31.7, so always better to take cash yet typically 10k limit, or 20k on entering Thai. Not that Thai would care...

I would also be interested to know if there is any possible way to transfer dollars for a minimal fee. So a non bank money changer can give the absolute best change over price.

In past couple of years simply got used to taking 15-20k in cash every few months then transfering at best rate exchange. Yet for larger purchases seems an electronic transfer will certainly loss out on a 10K-20K bt, as all rates are a rip off.

    Any thoughts?????????? Appreciated.... Cheers JAY

  18. We have always prefered contracts and left it up to the Thai staff to take care of own tax. I saw a survey that reported over 95% of businesses do this in Thailand to either avoid paperwork or tax. Yet recent incentives for foreign firms may make it worthwhile to report the incomes of Thai staff on a full time basis. What are other business owners thoughts... having been in hotel industry before the IT industry I found the Labor law and taxation system a pain in the neck- pay offs here and there. So to avoid the pain in the neck issues we now employ primarily contractors. That are supposedly meant to take care of own tax- ye right. Some making near 100K bt pm as sales guys, so not pocket change amounts like 10K bt.

Overall would love to hear pros and cons of employ contractors over full timers. Plus are employees classed as full timers if they work over a certain number of hours pm. As a business mate tells me several staff could leave then class there contracts of 150 hrs pm work is classed full time and essentially sue me for all associated benefits (Unpaid leave, medical insurance, etc). Yet they do not pay tax, so I would gather not in their best interests. As a open contract society I would have thought the contractor agreements that clearly state these will not be paid would be suffiient coverage. Naturally the 2 lawyers I deal with state completely differing things, whatever will gain them more work essentially. So I always take Thai lawyers advice with a grain of salt.

In the IT Development field it is fairly to highly skilled with good level Master degree and degree rated people for good pm prices. Monthly fees do vary greatly in the region the developers work. The CMai branch typically earns 30% less than BKK. Several staff have asked to move to BKK branch for greater pay, only to ask to return to CMAI as they cannot save as much anyway.

Recently a couple of contractors thought it unfair they do not get paid for Song Kran, so I said 'Work this weekend 20 hours' and I will pay the 3 days for Song Kran. This was very much appreciated.

As I read the many issues we do have in cultural differences in the workplace. I have found some books very helpful, as the mentality for living now is very prominent, as opposed to saving for the future or gaining extra skills for career advancement.

Also it is very common that THAI IT professionals and sales professionals do wish to enter their own business in the future. It can be very hard to keep the very ambitious, as they are more risk takers and will sacrifice a 50K bt pm job to work 16 hrs a day and very probably make a loss. Then come back in a couple of years time is common. With a large debt to pay off on a business failure- but HEY as I say at least they gave it a good shot. It is one thing to be a great manager, sales profesional, IT professional, etc.... completely different in being a business owner. Aywhere in the world.

In general most in BKK are found to be more ambitious I find... thus the CMains going to BKK returning to CMAI. IMO.

Anyway my 2 cents from 3 years as a small Hotel Director for 3 years then Mid level Director in IT firm for last 4 years.

  19. Chiangmai Mail seemed to heading downhill in recent years and I am told losing money. Thus they went to fortnightly distribution. This will make the margins in the newspaper game in Chianmai even worse. As does not seem to be enough market for one paper and near 10 mags, let alone 2 papers. As we all know most of us search for articles etc instantly on the Net these days. Whilst most in Chiangmai probably into a hardcopy read still, the under 40yo demographic simply enters what they wish on a PDA, notebook, etc.

Not a great area to be investing in IMO... Online newspapers (Yes maybe) but it must be very hard to make a buck. Wish the owners all the best however, if combined with a Reality or travel agency sort of biz, maybe a goers IMO.

Cannot see a version of this paper online to check it out, so cannot comment if it is better than Chiang Mai Mail as yet... Must be nearly final nail for the Mail unfortunately.

    Cheers Jay

  20. All fair enough comments Orang- as stated watch your wallet for fakes. 90% supposedly out there- that alone puts many people off.

In all fairness to HGH- used as directed from trusted sources they have amazing results. As Hollywood will agree... Lets face it whatever Hollywood starts the rest of the world follows. HGH was Athletes then movie stars now us Bloe Joes....same as cosmetic surgery....Hollywood then average Joes.

Surgery and HGH will continue to BOOM IMO as we all wish to be younger and better....

Many people stated they getting from www.jintropin.cn , this site supplies fakes I am told by body builders. Best site is www.gensci-china.com yet you meant to deal with authorized reps. They are here in CMai and BKK... If ordering over 1 years worth then it maybe worth it to order direct- cost wise. Yet I have never trusted to send 100k bt to China and wait for a Fedex package. Plus Thai postal charge big tax on imports now. Deal with a authorized supplier and get a good price. Exchange face to face so you can list the codes into website to confirm the real deal.

    My 2 cents...

    Cheers Jay

  21. Appreciated.... not sure why no Thais out the back of Carrefour in all the shops do not have a clue....

Confirming 8K pa or 50-100bt per session.... Some say 50 bt others say 100bt. Another stated 80bt LOL... what is the actual price. Cheers Jay

  22. A mate got a iphone 4 copy for 1500bt and loves it... so luck of the draw. IMO.

So to some it worth the chance to get a copy for 1500 as opposed to original for nearly x20 the cost.

Looks and feels no different to me... yet it did lock up on him once yet soon fixed for 300bt. So it been offline 2 days in last 6 months.

How long it lasts is another matter... he got it on the Burma side... double on the Thai side.

Only difference I see is he using a Nokia charger- you would think they could copy the charger as the do the iphone so very well.

    Goodluck...

  23. Saw a previous post that described a fitness centre behind Carrefour on Super Hwy going towards SAN SAI on 118.Been all around the area and connot find... where is this centre. Asked many Thais in the area and no luck.I hear 50-100 bt per session or 8K bt pa- can someone pls help out and advise of locale. Thanks.Cheers JAY

  24. Also I will add DO NOT BE Ripped off by fake HGH... even jintropin can be fake. It is said that 90% of HGH out there is fake. Body builders especially know instantly if the real gear or not. You need an expert with a good rep who only charges 10% more or so than purchased direct in China. Some guys fly into china to grab many boxes of the real deal... typically charge a third of the price of Pharmacies and drug stores that store it in Cmai. I will not mention them as you need a script. You can get a script at SRIPAT yet not needed in Thailand for personal usage. If travelling you definately need a script for HGH and Testo.

If you unsure then have tested in a Lab, yet that does cost 20k bt yet worth it or go in with a few mates to have a batch tested if the source not confirmed as having good rep. Typically hormone replacement will set u back 9000bt pm for sustanon and Jintropin combo. If you paying much more, as I know some pay 20K + pm then you are getting ripped off. Plus competition bringing the price down every 3-6 months. Yet it has been around 9-10K pm for a couple of years.

Next cheapest is a drug store at thapea gate for 14000bt.... hospitals will be over 20000bt + pm.... all can be ripped off with fakes. Price not a real indication of whether true blue or not. IMO. Trusted source direct from manufacturer for sure then OK...plus you will feel the benefits after 1-2 weeks.

Under 9000bt then no way as that approx. Original manfacturers current pricing per box in bulk. As they charge approx 8.5k if orderred in lots of 100 boxes. Transporters need to cover costs so 9000bt is a hard ask yet possible if in the know for the combo.

Would love to exchange suppliers with others... as I hear some orderring in 1000 bulk for cheaper... Jintropin is the original and best IMO.

    For some costly- yet works.

    Cheers JAY

  25. Trying to increase your Testestore or HGH naturally is a hard ask... Sure 40 to 50 something yo very althletic guys\girls will have a bit more than their peers. But not a lot.

Age degenrates these hormones quite quickly. In saying that there are a number of experts in CMai and BKK. In terms of testing it cheaper in Sripat if you prepared to wait.

I advocate replacement therapy if it is done correctly and monitored... no dodgy supplement selling as some adverts on here. SImply the real deal and be montiored by an expert. In saying that there is not many around. There are several places. Sripat is good for testing afordability yet no good doctors as experts.

In general I do not think most need testing- if you over 25yo then your HGH and testorone is depleting at a fast rate- this is a fact. No one needs to tell you that you not the same person you were when you were 20yo. Even at 40yo HGH has depleted far more than half of when you were 20yo. 50 yo only a fifth on when you 20. Being one of the main features in aging. Natural supplements are a waste of $$$ and time IMO...simply go for the replacement with an expert monitoring. You will feel the difference within a couple of weeks. Add strength exercise and more protein to your diet for extra benefits.

Perfect conbo for the lazy like me LOL- (Plus affordable in Thailand- not in our homeland).... Testo weekly + HGH daily + workout with personal trainer (3x weekly) + higher protein diet will do wonders for most. Yet you do need Carbs for energy in any workouts... overall it is what you are after... bulk up and longevity\energy like benefits, slim down with the other benefits. Custom programs are best for most...plus monitoring... a few good ones in Cmai... not many.

Far cheaper than the below pricing... talk to the quake at SRIPAT and they can often bundle in a huge amount of test for a reasonable price. The below are very high... whilist I do not think you need all a few are more essential. FORGET the growth hormone test as when you naturally or artifially get these hormones they do their job in the body within 30min. So this test is good for nothing.

Steroidal hormones are cleaved from cholesterol and include:

Testosterone, Estrogen, Cortisol(s), DHEA, DHT, Prenenalone, Progesterone, Aldosterone.

    MTLab tests Price(Baht)

    Aldosterone clotted blood 2400

    Cortisol serum 350 (inlab)

    DHEA Sulphate serum 600

    Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) serum 3000

    Estradiol serum 400 (inlab)

    Free Testosterone serum 4000

    Growth hormone serum 500

IGF -1 insulin growth factor serum 900

    IGF BP 3 serum 800

LH luteinizing hormone serum 350 (inlab)

    Progesterone serum 400 (inlab)

SHBG sex hormone binding globulin serum 1500

    Testosterone serum 400 (inlab)

In saying the testing- why bother it seems to be an excuse for people to delay a lifestyle change plus they only compare to peers so who cares. Will all know we not the same as when 20yo. It up to the individual if they wish to age naturally or not. It appears to HARD for most to seek advice, as we all do not wish for misinformation. Goto experts and you will feel the benefits.

I have been dissappointed in some of those regular posters here... let people do what they wish their lives... enhance the quality of your life. In a safe and caring environment is always best... forget the natural supplements- simply touted by those trying to make a buck. Get only Sustanon (Testosterone) and Jintropin (HGH) IMO. Look on sports sites and bodybuilding.com for more info... only difference for taking for bodybuilding, sports enhancement is the amount you take- meaning a lot less $$$ than those who wish for huge bulk, Only 3-5iu per day needed- whilst hormones get a bad name from those Mr Universes down in Pattaya taking 10-20iu daily + cocktail of other drugs. Big difference between them and us. Yet I have no issue with many body builders I know- one thing for sure is they know all about the science of the body yet a few simply overdo it for an advantage. Thus the bad name in hormone replacement. Sensible diet and hormone replacement and exercise can be a life changer. My old man in his 60s looked and felt nearly 20 years younger- put a price on that... those in 20 and 30s typically use for body building and towards 40 Up trying to turn back time with great success.

IF DONE correctly- seek advice... not just forums.

    Cheers JAY
