They probably sent it to Pattaya Klang which is their main store. Not that it really matters I am just recommending them to the OP.
Yes that one is a very good shop, the one opposite Foodland.
They also have technicians there.
Just bough a new printer there. They asked me if I wanted them to fill the tanks and test it before taking it home and I said yes please (free of charge).
So went over to Foodland for lunch and picked up the printer afterwards and drove home, always good service in Wattana.

A good friend of mine have a Dell all in one top of the range PC (well 4 years ago) and the screen started to come off the casing.
The quote for repair was extremely expensive from Dell Thailand so he didn't do it.
He bought a good old fashion desktop PC and his teenage daughter is now using the Dell.
My advice is to buy a desktop PC or one of those mini PC's as mentioned earlier.

Kiss restaurant ? yes staff are always good there. Food also.
I wrote the name in the bottom of my post. Think Kiss is closed on Naklua road.
Not a great loss, the 99baht breakfast was nothing write home about.

One thing that I don't understand, the bank manager that received the 100 mill he must still have them somewhere?
If so, then it should be pretty easy to get hold of that money and hand it back to the owners?

I found them also slightly friendlier.
At a German restaurant on Naklua road I often go to for breakfast, I get royal treatment after one of the ladies gave me back change as she thought that I gave her 1000 but I only gave her 500 which I off-course pointed out. She were extremely grateful because they pay out of own pocket if they screw it up. Now she know how I want my breakfast, no sausages but extra bacon instead and the Germans apparently don't uses ketchup on their fried eggs but I do and I don't have to ask for it anymore.
Needless to say that I tip them nicely.
This restaurant have been in business since 1979 and I would hate it, if it goes under during current crises but I think they will survive because there are often quite many people in there. Taverne is the name.

It will probably take a lot more for EV's to become viable in Thailand than 4 to 5 years - outside the big cities, the charging infrastructure sucks, hence for most users the EV is not an option. If you live in BKK and never leave the city, there is no better propulsion system than the electric motor.
I am on my second PHEV - the 2nd one is the MG. The 16.6Kwh battery pack provides for close to 70 km range, more then adequate for our in-town needs - and when we go up country, no range anxiety. Mind you, a PHEV is very different from a regular hybrid, there is no engine start stop in the 70 km EV mode.
So are you happy with the MG? Any problems along the way?
-
Yes also here in north Pattaya (Naklua) are we getting a good long heavy shower and still raining as I write this.
Yes very nice, good for the garden.

I am also on the market for new wheels here in 2021, the 2.2WT is from 2013 but still going strong.
I have been thinking about the MG hybrid but I am just worried it's too complex and will ending up giving problems.
Might end up with the Mazda CX-30 but will likely keep the truck, don't need the CX5 but my friend been very happy with his, would love to have the 2.5L but a bit overkill for us.
Having 2 set of wheels is handy when one is in the workshop after a fender bender, ha-ha.
The Raptor is an awesome beast but way too big for Pattaya and so is the Everest/Tuna.
EV's maybe in 4-5 years time?? The EV's don't demand much service as the hybrids does (engine start/stops all the time).

Get the CX5.
Everest is likely the best of the glorified pick-ups with lip-stick

I have more than 15 years expericence riding motorbikes within many countries including Thailand. We have fun with the Forza and seriously looking at the Forza 350 for a new purchase but just wanted to check around with the community first. I would love to take a drive to Phuket from Pattaya but just a little hestiate.
Well if you are happy with the Forza then why not, must admit that I had a closer look on-line myself but I am always riding solo.

OP was is your level of experience?
Well maybe wasting time, because not so long time ago a newbie asked for advice and he ended up buying a Honda Goldwing, ha-ha, not sure if he was trolling or not but he sounded serious.
So how did you find the Forza 300? The new 350 got about 4hp more, will that be enough with 29hp 2up?
Honda 500X got a bit more hp and will be better suited for 2up touring, Versys650 even more.

For getting back to topic; Flat floor type can have some advantages. One time the truck was getting fixed after a fender bender and my sons school bag could not be transported safely on the pcx so had to use wife's Filano, bag sitting on the floor while I had all sorts of problems parking my size 11 feet, 555.
Yes bikes for the roads and scooters for city, done that for some years now and that works for me.
Regarding scooters for touring, I find the 150cc scooters lacking power on the highways, can't accelerate out of trouble.
I would however like to try the Forza350 are see how its holding up out on the highways, if it can cruise at around 120 and still have a bit of spare power then its quite an intriguing option because there are some advantages; Large storage under the seat and enclosed belt-drive & adjustable windscreen normally only seen on large expensive touring bikes.
I often see those 300cc scooters riding very fast when out riding outside Pattaya

It’s very simple, in terms of tourism Hua Hin is seen an extension of Bangkok, Pattaya is not. You simply cannot compare as both locations were established for completely different reasons, one was set up for American sex pests, the other was established for the Bangkok elites, with a big royal influence.
Thais were vacationing in Hua Hin long before Gi Joe was hitting the bars on Pattaya beach road. Even to this day many Bangkok Thais barely recognise Pattaya as an existence, its a place north of Rayong where foreigners go, a place where the poor Isaan girls go to sell their body’s to support their families, it has no identity.
Not suggesting Hua Hin is better, I like both, just saying Pattaya will die long before Hua Hin will.
Nonsense, many many Bangkok Thais in Pattaya during the weekends, doubt either will die.
They like the shopping centers and Jomtien beach.
The house opposite mine is owned by a BKK Thai, some buy condos, many of them high end (+10 mill)

Being the owner of both, a PCX here in Australia and a Click in Thailand , I have good experience of the both and for me I prefer the Click any day . 1.. It's cheaper to buy. 2.. Better to step onto for older people like myself. 3.Sits on the road at higher speeds better.(The early model PCX 125 cc, you have to hang onto it at high speed ) 4. It's better for Thai style shopping, with room and hooks to hang things on. 5. It's lighter ,yet sits on road better, with better pick up and a higher speed , much faster 6. Servicing is cheaper( PCX motor is fully enclosed, much more expensive to service in placers like Australia) 7.The Click is much more comfortable to ride(no hump or carved positions on seat, you can move back on seat) 8.Clicks short handle bars gives it more stability , also much better to get between the heavy traffic in Thailand . I like the Click , the one I have is only a 125 cc , same as the PCX , same motor , but I find a floating feeling when riding the PCX , it just does not feel staple on the road, at anything over 60 kmh and if windy, like it gets here in Australia , you really got to hang onto it, the big handle bars don't help. You cannot buy the Click here in Australia , it;s a shame , as I would but one here. Regards ,,,,,Popa
I completely disagree with you.
1: Okay, you get for what you pay, higher price, more premium scooter.
2: pcx isn't bad either.
3: Nonsense, my pcx150 with YSS rear shocks are stable at full speed, much more than wife' s much newer Filano.
4: Subjective, have a top box, so can fit one case of beers.
5: Really; My pcx is faster that wife's Grand Filano Hybrid, also top speed is higher on the pcx.
6: N/A for Thailand.
7: Ha-ha, not for me, like the "sofa" feel on the pcx
PCX any day of the week for me, those small Click/Filano are for small Asian people, I looks like an elephant on them and feel extremely cramped.
Okay you have the old 125cc model, they improved a lot over the years.

My friend's car got hit by a scooter yesterday in Pattaya while waiting at red lights.
The Thai dude riding the scooter was <deleted> drunk (0830 AM), first hit friends car and bounced over in another car before crashing.
My friend got out of the car and prevented the drunk dude driving off, policeman controlling the intersection lights quickly came over and took the scooter keys and arrested the dude, a bottle of Thai whisky was found near the scooter.
Insurance man was called and all 3 persons involved ended down at the police station, car drivers driving in their cars, drunk dude transported in a police truck in handcuffs.
My friend signed some papers that his insurance man checked first. Thai lady in the other car had no driving license and classA.
My friends Class A will likely have to cover the damages to his car but insurance man will keep him updated.
Thai lady in small MG in trouble, she will get a fine and will have to pay out of own pocket to get the car fixed (one door quite badly damaged)
Drunk Thai dude very likely still sitting in holding cell here over the weekend and will see a judge next week, 555.
Always have a class A on your car here, this also cover bail-bond in worst case scenario

And this has what to do with Immigration ? Another chief stepping outside his jurisdiction to make arrests and keep himself on the front page so to speak .
Yes he is police but Immigration Police and should leave these kind of things to the regular police unless the workers are immigrants it really has nothing to do with him .
The staff was 4 Chinese managers and a Singaporean + some Thai staff.
If it was a only Thai run "business" nobody would give a damn, they are everywhere.

So where are the money, they just can't disappear? The bank must be able to get at least some of them back?
Yes very naive to think you can get 3.5% per month, even 3.5% per year is almost impossible.

36 minutes ago, In the jungle said:Despite the fact that I meet the financial requirements I just cannot bring myself to providing a gazillion documents many of which are irrelevant to the issues they have to consider for a marriage application.
To take just one example my wife and I married 27 years ago in Europe. If I apply on the basis of marriage outside Thailand the MFA staff at embassies and consulates abroad spend about ten seconds looking at the marriage certificate before concluding it is genuine.
If I apply in Thailand on the basis of marriage I have to get a KR22 and to get that I have to get the marriage certificate certified by my home country government, the Thai Embassy in my home country and then the MFA in Bangkok.
Self respect dictates that I cannot through the in country process. The daft photos. The home visit with requests for bribes. The whole damn process.
I just cannot understand the guys on here who get righteous about the fact that they bend over and go through this stuff every year and choose to broadcast that fact on the web.
If in the end they refuse me an extension of stay my wife and I will leave and never come back on a full time basis. Perhaps a few months a year here to avoid the worst of the European winter. And we will cash in all our assets here which is a good chunk of change.
And consider this, at the the same time as you are wading through the pointless red tape of a marriage application Burmese illegal entrants are getting two year visas based on nothing at all!
My friend had a visit from immigration last week, not a single word was said about money (Pattaya).
Well if it's that hard on you, you can get retirement next time? I go revert back to retirement next time I think.
But yes don't really understand why they give us so much <deleted> on a marriage visa, my son goes in a good private school, we live in a fairly nice house, go out and eats in good restaurants during weekends, so all in all contributing to the society.
They should give us a 3 or 5 years visa, report once a year.

I did or should I say tried marriage extension today (1 year).
Was kicked out with the words: Goggle maps not accepted showing where you live, has to be a drawing.
Photos: Selfies not allowed, have to be a 3rd person taking the photos.
This is Pattaya.
So now, I made drawings of our location and a friend living close by came by and took photos of the family i 4 different locations on the property and will go back to immigration again tomorrow.
Retirement much much easier but was not possible back in Sep last year.
