All bars closed when I was down town a few hours ago, restaurants not selling alcohol.

Mine bring it to about 10% of what outside air quality is at Auto setting. Heart setting (or increased airflow if you have 3H/Pro H) can bring it down further to close to 0 at full blast. But they get loud. Very loud.
I run my 3C in auto in the bedroom, can't hear it. My AC is an inverter type so it goes very quiet when set-point temp is reached.
When going to bed last night it was app 24PM when starting and it went down to 15 pretty quickly. When I woke up it was 8.
I got mine from some Lazada store for just around 3k a pop so the filters are likely one of the cheaper ones.
If I buy 2 more units for the living room it will be the slightly higher capacity 3H and I will get them from Lazada too, with 1 week return but not sure I need them since we live in Pattaya and it's seldom the air is real bad.

So it has become an oversized, airconditioned strolling park? But tell us, how many folks are in there....? I live 10km out of town and need more reason to drive in than to get into a mall. If it was for the exercise, and to get out of a little box condo, I would do the Beach Rd or Jomtiem front while it isn't so hot.
Yes it's good to walk in the shopping centers, like Central & T21, I do it often.
No hookers approaching you, but still some good eye candy to look at.
Very few people in the weekdays, sometimes more staff than customers.
I don't live in a little shoe box condo but in a fairly large 2 story house.

I was at the Big-CX Mall yesterday and it is quiet, but ticking over. You still have to Q at the checkouts! Seems like this is where a lot of the Expats do their weekly. Redwood above me makes that valid point, and the reality that T21 was aimed ONLY at tourists, visitors, I might even be tempted to say Asians.
Love the fact I can get to the Mall and park my truck these days!
Well I very often eat lunch in T21, Japanese or Chinese food mostly.
After lunch, I walk all the floors for exercise.
Okay live fairly close by, 10 min on the scooter.

your xioami air purifier shows the pm2.5 in µg/m3.
air visual app shows the air quality (pm2.5) as AQI.
Okay, I am mixing them up, thanks for clarifying.

I just received the 2 Mi 3C units.
I am surprised when plugging them in (one in the living room and one in my office next to the living room) that they both only shows 9 and dropped to 6 now (PM2.5 value) after app 30min running. Doors open to outside in the living room, door to the office/living room open but sliding door from office to garden closed. I am in Pattaya and according to the Air Visual app it's 77 currently?
I wrote earlier that 3C is a newer version of 3H, but the truth is that 3C is a bit more quiet and have slightly less capacity, so 3C is good for bedrooms and 3H for living rooms (2 units in larger rooms).

Well his weekend and many more are destroyed, he lay in the bed as he made it, no sympathy from me.
So he been at it for 7 years?? Was that something he said during a confession or did the BIB know already??
-
It looks like the 3C is a newer version than 3H but uses same filter.

Thanks guys,
So maybe buy 4 pcs, Xiaomi comes highly recommended here, looking at them now on Lazada, I think I need the 3H model.

I am in doubt on what to buy, my living room is quite big, almost 100M2 and then there are the bedroom upstairs, 2 in use.

How about Phuket Fantasy?
Or does that no longer exist?
Maybe ask in the Phuket forum?
We can't leave the province.

Good she were wearing a full-face helmet, 555.
Well I am on her side as I think +500cc bikes should be allowed on the tollways.
If I pulled a stunt like that, I will likely have to pay out big time to avoid jail time.
Ahh poster smedly beats me to it, good on you bro.

Looking at the 999 to 99900 baht (ha-ha), it says batteries not included, what the hell is that about?
What an odd advert.
I stay far away from it.

CRV is according to reviews very boring to drive, CX5 in top trim; entertaining.
Mazda for me if I had to choose between the two.

Link?
Well with the travel restrictions in place not really surprising.
It's really sad, so many people are effected, loosing their income.

Re. the availability of the different vaccines to foreigners (and Thais willing to pay for it):
Thai private hospitals reserve COVID-19 vaccines ahead of approval
They are also ordering the Chinese vaccine which I am very surprised about but okay they are also getting a western one.
Quote:
We ordered one million doses of the Sinovac vaccine with an option to buy nine million more," Boon Vanasin, the chairman of Thonburi Healthcare Group Pcl, told Reuters.

OP have you considered the MG HS PHEV, a plug-in hybrid as the name suggest, see a lot on the roads now, good looking car.
About same size as the cars mentioned in earlier posts.
Lots of power when using both system and using no fuel for short trips.
I am seriously considering one but I am waiting for more reviews before making up my mind and I am also not sure about the quality?
I am surprised Mazda don't offer any hybrid cars here especially now when the government wants electric/hybrid cars on the roads.

How about the CX5?
The 2.5 should be quite good

Do you use a VPN server located in Thailand? I never did before and I don't know why I should.
Just academic.
Of course NordVPN works fine usually.
No it's never in Thailand, mostly set to Singapore

Just tried NordVPN to connect to a Thai VPN server (never tried before).
And the connections fails, endless spinning wheel over and over.
?
That's odd, been using same VPN and never had any problems ever.

Its illegal for open pickups with cargo in the flatbed to drive on the express ways yet I see that daily.
A mate trashed his car hitting a bag of cement at 120kmh which had somehow fallen out of a pick up.
it only takes lazy ppl to allow the inevitable.. and the decision makers know already that allowing motorcycle on the expressways is unmanageable.
I see your point, the traffic police here is probably one of the worst in the world in enforcing the traffic rules.
They are more interested in tea money.
It's both a blessing and a curse.

But you have to pass a check point when entering and exiting so it should be quite easy to firmly deny any bikes below 400cc to enter, always police around too? If the government tells the police there will be no exceptions from this rule (camera surveillance) and the hammer will come down hard on responsible persons at the check point if small bikes are seen riding on the expressway.
In Malaysia I think big bikes can go on the express ways?
For me living in Pattaya, it would be very good if possible to use the expressways when heading north or going to BKK.
The problem is that no government persons (that I know of) are bike enthusiast so they don't really care about us.
