    even though she had a legal basis for not returning the deposit it might have been a sensible thing to do, we all know that getting deposits returned from Thai owners can be a problem, they often treat it like key money and getting it back is not straight forward

    not in this case, seems he attempted that and failed costing him his life, that bike has never been riden through any corners obvious observation from the rear tyre, I've been riding big bikes for 40years and own a superbike in Thailand for 20 years, this guy had no clue how to ride to his demise

    lets get a little perspective here, I'm pretty sure you have done worse and like i said above many in Thailand do worse every day, a prison term is quite frankly ridiculous

    wow, so reading through the news today and in fact every day we see multiple deaths on the roads - yes people actually killed by drunks driving or careless driving or speeding and this guy who injured no one gets jail time for doing what - a wheelie - really ???

    doesn't look that bad, perhaps they had an issue with the landlord that they're excluding, at least the rubbish was put in bags, no mention of his thai wife, I suspect there is more to this story we've all see the state some rentals are left by Thai residents, this place looks pristine in comparison

    I think the reason for this is because the people making the rules and those enforcing them are quite happy to drink and drive and could care less about the consequences and the tragic loss of life, the only way I see of reducing it is to hold someone accountable - like the Chief of Police, set targets and if they are not met then demote him, performance based

    and Thailands 7 dangerous sonkran days expands to 365, when are they going to do something about the road carnage that continues, it really is horrendous, when are the police going to enforce traffic violations - do they even know how ?, yes drunk drivers are caught but only after they have caused an accident, policing is about prevention
