  1. The point might be: never contradict or question the made up and false narratives......which seems as most have adhered to. If repeated [and forced upon] loud and often enough - all becomes real and true.
  2. Such a revelation that's been in existence forever.... Beginning to click?
  3. Or perhaps a second opinion? Pursuing a competent oral surgeon might aid in such resolution.

What's become of actual in-house physical shopping.....??
  5. The greater paradox will consist of middleman mafia that work with both sides - smugglers/importers and the Thai officialdom. In these cases, everyone's a winner [profitable]. Business is business regardless of supposed illegalities or regulated protocol. For the Thai authorities to speak of oversight and stemming the tide is purely rhetorical and moot. Makes for good news copy, though.
  6. Simply because they spend the most [as a collective] and today are clearly the most numerous - that's the bottom line. Plus the added incentive for pleasing prospective Chinese business/infrastructural investors..... It's where the wealth is centered these days. Certainly not gonna get this from the skint West, as hard times are looming for the majority. Can't blame the Thais for chasing the opportunities. Taking advantage of these particular situations comes naturally. It's not a political thing.
  7. Or....simply do away with the draconian and heavy bureaucracy that is associated with the assorted non-O types. That would be a start.
  8. And this seems to be a universal practice to curb inflation. Creating false wealth out of thin air comes back to bite the more productive sectors/markets.
  9. Appears that's gonna be the outcome. Things aren't really working out well for MV/Pita.....
  10. Some have forgotten how the mafia-like BAAC blossomed under Thaksin and his scoundrel clan. A total disaster for the working farmers, who were stable before the almost forced upon incentives.
  11. Remember where he comes from.
  12. And here I thought that everything Move forward was mad of sugar, spice and everything nice. I'm shocked.
  13. Indeed. Sadder is that sensationalized tabloid items are considered to be newsworthy and important.
  14. Graft and corruption as an everyday manner of life. In written in the cultural DNA. We do need to get away from this type of accepted lifestyle and business.
  15. Appears that too many are on the newly fashioned bandwagon of giddiness. They haven't even place themselves throughout the government levels as of yet. Far more prudent to be patient and wait to see how they function. Who might they be serving? The commons or other vested interests? Let's wait and see before we become overwhelmed with excitement.
  16. ....and the other half are too naive to know any better.
  17. Farang. The usual suckers.
  18. Yet, weren't they upgraded by English civilised missions? Probably from which came the inherited evil and nastiness that we've seen since the early 60s.
  19. .......and from the looks of it, will take the the 2024 election. Paradox in the waiting.
