  1. Very Instagrammable and pretty unique mouth feel. Chefs and high end cocktails places like them.
  2. Do you sell finger lime nursery stock? I
  3. 3 phase 400 meters was 450,000 for one house I know
  4. Alaska frozen salmon from Rimping. Occasionally smoked Norwegian.
  5. If you search the frozen foods at Rimping they have some Alaskan cod and haddock
  6. CMMobile Fix in old town has done a great job for me with my IPhone. 11,000 baht doesn’t sound legit to me.
  7. Anybody seen marsala wine for sale in CM?
  8. Grows easily from seed. Try eating the crisp red sepals (modified leaves, I think) around the actual flower bud. Fresh version of what is dried to make the roselle tea. Nice sour crunch.
  9. Daikon won’t need a greenhouse. For large tomatoes (not cherry tomatoes) a green house with a fine mesh protects against white flies.
  10. Saw a video. At least part of it totally wiped out.
  11. My wife says it is very poisonous. Not surprising as oleander and plumeria are also poisonous. Perhaps learning that as a child influenced your wife? Also, people vary in how they react to a particular strongly scented flower.
  12. Try Big C. A friend sent me a picture of fresh leaves on a black tray covered in plasic (which is how they package smaller produce items) with a Big C sticker on it.
  13. Just tried Accha Indian restaurant in Nimman. Good food, pleasant room, and big menu. Price was higher than other Indian places I’ve tried in CM, but so was the quality.
  14. My current favorite is Street Pizza near Narawat bridge. Wife’s homemade is already good and planning on building a pizza oven this winter.
  15. Looks pretty good. Where was that one from?
  16. No, not a snake in the plumbing, although it might be more common! Any suggestions where I could buy a good quality drain cleaning tool? I see, and have bought crappy little ones in Thailand, but no idea where to find one closer to what a real plumber would use. Thanks for any suggestions. Please don’t say internet without a link or screenshot, yes, I have heard of the internet.
  17. Why is it that the scientists I know personally are so willing to acknowledge that they might be missing something and continue to search for better understandings of their topic but the people who learned what little they know from sources writing emotionally charged all cap sentences and with ill founded gotcha conclusions are absolutely sure that they know the truth?
  18. Pretty crappy looking pistol. Very unlikely to be registered. Unless it was bought as a prop I can’t see any Swiss person I ever met buying it for personal use. On the other hand, it’s very plausible as something a Thai man without a lot of money would buy either for criminal use or just to have to wave in other people’s faces.
  19. Never use poison but had some nests in the patio. Local guy sprayed directly into nest with an aerosol can and managed to quickly kill them without getting stung. Removed the nest a few minutes later before returning hornets showed up. The big paper looking one on the edge of the property up a tree the neighbor farmers snuck in and stole for the larvae.
  20. And certainly didn’t enjoy the loud and smug antivax conspiracy idiots bunched behind me sharing misinformation. Just ignored them except when one said that everybody there just wanted the piece of paper like them, not the vaccination.
  21. Went last week, 23rd. Thought it would be smooth sailing but they consolidated some of the first shot groups so more people than on the day I went for the first shot. Then computer system went down just before I got through queue. So twice as long as first time. The master of ceremonies, who reminds me of many Swiss hotel gm’s I have met at work was in fine form. Patiently repeating info, urging people to move into the smaller queue, and jumping in when they gave queue numbers to people (when they had to pause for the computer problem) and some people rushed the poor nurses handing out numbers. Had to laugh when he chastised me for missing the restart by a couple of minutes, told him I was back before the time he had announced so it was his mistake, not mine. That quieted down his bossiness, but I’m sure he was a part of the reason that everything went pretty well with this program and thanks to him for volunteering.
