  1. All alcohol bans should be done away with in designated tourist areas. It's the Buddhist followers who should observe these days and many Thais simply don't. Don't worry the parliamentary members bar will be open 24/7 with booze flowing freely. These same guys are all devoted Buddhists.
  2. To honor Thailands rich Buddhist traditions, if only the people who believe this were to practice what they preach.
  3. and certainly Thais never look at mirrors before changing lanes. Many Thais take off the rear view mirrors on their motor bikes.
  4. ge I went to the local pharmacy, they were out of Diclofenic so I was offered a Thai generic brand by the name of Diflam 50 mg. Within one hour I was a lot better. Since then I had a strong massage. I got my bedding organised better as I'm an acid reflux sufferer. I found an extra pillow to place under my legs. I will try sleeping on my back which will take getting used to. So far so good, I'll just see how I wake up tomorrow morning. I'm sure this was all brought about because even in my older years I'm a very heavy sleeper and I must've moved sharply to cause my back pain. Anyway thanks all for your suggestions.
  5. One week ago I woke up with chronic pain in my lower back, since then it's got worse. I've walked 90 minutes daily for the past 5 years without any problems. I'm a heavy sleeper so maybe my body got in a bad position whilst I'm sleeping. Another possibility is the computer chair I use isn't supporting my back properly. I need to get my back ok again and maybe I should buy a new computer chair. Any suggestions? Firstly treating my back pain and then where can I buy a decent computer chair. At the moment I can barely walk to my front door.
  6. The AU$ appears to be getting weaker by the day. It was 24 baht for several months but since then it's got weaker without any signs of strengthening. The experts are predicating it will be 19.5 baht by June next year. I remember a holiday in Bangkok in 1997 when the AU$ was 19.5 baht.
  7. That couple would make some gorgeous looking babies if they got down to some horizontal rhumba.
  8. His balls must be bigger than his brains
  9. Further more I needed to change my phone number because I couldn't wait for my wife to come back as I really don't know how long she'll be away.
  10. Firstly the guy at AIS told me that my original SIM card is damaged and it can't be fixed until the name registered on that SIM card goes to the AIS office to get if fixed or replaced. Right now I can't receive any One Time Password codes on my phone. I can't do anything including re install or get a refund in the Norton website as I can't receive OTP messages. Several other antivirus programs send their OTP messages by email.
  11. Firstly my phone SIM card is with AIS and my wifi SIM card is with DTAC. Unbeknown to me my phone SIM card is in my wife's name. She's gone up north to take care of her mother whose on borrowed time. I went to the AIS shop in Pattaya Central and the guy said that she must come in person to fix this problem because the SIM card is damaged. I want to delete Norton AV and get a refund but I'm running out of time. So it appears that I'll lose my subscription fee, I can't even re install it because I can't get the security code. What gets me is the SIM card is in her name and goes to my email address.
  12. Her in doors being in a hurry threw a basket load of laundry into our washing machine. My phone survived the ordeal but my SIM card didn't. So how can I update my phone number for Norton Anti Virus when I can't receive any security keys or pin numbers.
  13. I went to DTAC in Central and the lady there not only spoke moderate English but appeared to have a good knowledge of Iphone trouble shooting. She put my sim card in another phone and the speed jumped dramatically. She told me that my phone is a copy and if I want to improve my speed I needed to buy a new phone. So I bought a new phone for 4,000 baht, now all my problems appear to have been answered. Thanks to all here who offered their suggestions.
  14. I called DTAC on 1678 3 times before, no answer. I'm using the hotspot on my Iphone 14 connected to my laptop.
  15. If anyone is looking for that type of action then I'm sure xhamster will satisfy their needs.
  16. I just checked my data usage for this month and it's 17.5 GB which is no where near 100 GB per month. I'm going to DTAC this morning to try to sort this out. If I've run out of data can I top up this month and then continue to use up to 100GB for the ensuing months? If they want me to pay for a new one year sim card I'll be looking for another provider.
  17. I've only used 17 GB so far this month as it's so slow it's not worth trying to use.
  18. I'm not a tourist as I've been living in Thailand for 24 years. My sim card cost 2,290 baht and printed on the cover is 15 Mbps also 12 in Thai writing, I presume 12 months. I only activated it 3 months ago. Maybe my money has run out, if so that's rather quick.
  19. Is it unlimited useage and if so how much does it cost per month.
  20. Absolutely nothing as I've already given mine a life
  21. I tested my wifi several kilometres from where I live and I had the same wifi speed. I'm going to DTAC tomorrow to see if I can sort out this problem. In the mean time I use a hot spot for the wifi on my laptop. I just purchased an new iphone so can wifi settings make my wifi slower. I've used DTAC for several years now and never had this problem before until DTAC merged with True.
  22. It started out as a happy ending massage as requested but ended up a fatal massage.
  23. One thing I have noticed since I've got older is what I used to do all night takes me all night to do now.
  24. Sorry for the headline typo as I was typing without my glasses on.
