No reply from embassy - as per usual!
The UK Embassy play no part in visa applications, they will refer you to the the UKVI Website, though that isn't very helpful since they veered away from offering advice on supporting documents, preferring to give advice during the application process.
"bigyin" has provided the relevant advice, it has to be translated with translator’s name and date of translation, you don't need to get it certified by the MFA, that's for Thailand related applications.

Bank accounts of a deceased person are frozen until probate is completed. It would be a criminal offence for his G/F to access it or attempt to.
What happens to the funds in a joint account in the event of the demise of one of the account holders?
We have joint accounts in the Isle of Man and here in Thailand, in the IoM the account automatically reverts to the remaining partner in the event of the others death, not sure about here.

Please post this valuable information so everyone can benefit. A day long trip to Bangkok from Bang Sare is not in the cards for me. Many have tried and failed.
How far is that, I would have thought a couple of hours each way at most?

Not if the appointment system would be closed
Well when I cancelled my appointment, the hospital thanked me for doing so and advised me that the slot would be reallocated.- 1

@bankruatsteveI don't have a Pink ID, but this is the advice my local hospital publishes, and it works.
"Kindly contact Hua Hin Hospital for assistance in modifying your passport number to 13-digit ID number, allowing you to register on the application"
So it seems that where there is a will there's a way.

Province: Bangkok, I travelled from Hua Hin
Date: 28 July
Location (name of hospital or other) Phyathai-2
Are you over 60/chronically ill? (Yes/No) Yes, over 60
How did you register? Via their online registration process
Vaccination received (yes/no) Yes, and appointment for second jab in three months given
If yes, Type of vaccine : Astra Zeneca
If no, Reason not vaccinated: N/A
Very impressed with their operation, in and out in less than an hour.

When people get 3 appointments, then 2 could have gone to others who had none.
And still can if the subsequent appointments are cancelled.

Meanwhile in Pattaya NOTHING. Four elderly farangs drove to Bang Sue. Only one got through the screening process as he was over 75.
A number of my friends resident in Pattaya have confirmed appointments at MedPark for next week, and are travelling up together.
Likewise I made an appointment for this week and travelled up from Hua Hin to receive my jab, I'm not over 75.
That said, I'm led to believe that Bangkok vaccination points may now be restricting the service to Bangkok resident only, though I haven't seen anything official to confirm that. -

Good to see your thinking of others during this humanitarian crisis.
I don't see what he'd done wrong, he'd tried to book appointments for multiple locations not knowing if any of them would result in an appointment, not all result in an immediate appoinment slot, or if the appointment would acutually result in a vaccine.
I booked an appointment at my local hospital in Hua Hin and when I was given a date of 7 July, I didn't try any further routes, my appointment was cancelled and still hasn't been reinstated.
I then tried Phyathai-2 and managed to submit my registration on the first attempt, though I didn't know if it had actually been accepted or not, so, once bitten twice shy, I tried MedPark and was given an appointment for a later date.
Like @Liverpool LouI attended Phyathai on Wednesday, and was also very impressed with their operation, I subsequently cancelled my appointment at MedPark and my place in the queue in Hua Hin.
I don't think either of us have done anything wrong, in fact it was the sensible thing to do, and certainly not selfish.

My appointment time at Phyathai-2 was at 14.00 yesterday, I got there at 12.20, due to the absence of traffic, I was immediately checked, jabbed and rested and on my way home at 13.15, very impressed with the staff there.

The advice I’ve got from where I’m scheduled to receive my vaccination is to refrain from alcohol 2/3 days before and after the vaccination.

She can apply and submit her supporting documentation online, but she would need to visit a Visa Application Centre to have her biometric details captured.
The Embassy play no part in the application process, VFS have a very limited appointments at the moment.

But my understanding has always been that UK visa applicants are not supposed to book any flights before the outcome of their applications is known. This is in complete contrast to applications for Schengen visas where confirmed flight bookings are a prerequisite.
It’s actually a recommendation from the UKVI advising that non refundable or fully flexible flights shouldn’t be purchased before the visa is issued. The requirements for Schengen are similar though some Consulates impose their own tougher interpretation.

I didn't contradict your statement, I only pointed out a fact.
I might also point out that a 'Select Committee', has nothing to do with petitions.
Petitions Committee
Commons Select Committee
The Petitions Committee considers e-petitions submitted on Parliament’s petitions website and public (paper) petitions presented to the House of Commons, engaging the public directly with the work of the House.

Petitions never get debated in the house of commons. They are normally debated in another chamber within the parliament building by those who wish to attend. The outcome is never been put to parliament.
I said they can be debated in Parliament, I never mentioned the House of Commons.
Select Committees in both houses are part of Parliament, they can demand evidence from and make recommendations to the Government, the Goverment must respond.- 1

Assuming she's Thai, then yes she would.
She would need to go through the full process, not the easier route previously offered to the spouse of an EU National.

Upnotover is correct, your daughter must leave the UK on or before the expiry date printed on her visa.
She may have a problem flying to the UK if her return ticket is after he visa expires, if she reached the UK Border, she could also have a problem if the Border Force Officer picked it up, which they should.
Whilst overstaying for less than 30 days wouldn't incur a ban on re-entering, it could well be an issue in a future application, the circumstances you describe probably wouldn't be regarded as a valid reason for overstaying.

A slight correction, if the petition gains 10,000 signatures, then the Government will respond, if it reaches 100,000 signatures then a committee considers if it’s going to be debated in Parliament, most actually don’t get to debate.

I assume that they wll leave Thailand with the Thai passport and enter the UK with the UK passport. Then leave the UK with the UK passport and enter Thailand with the Thai passport. They won't be refused entry to the UK as they're UK citizens. Just check if you will all have to go into quarantine because you will have come from Thailand. I don't know.
At this time Thailand is an Amber Country so, unless they travel via the UAE or another red country, hotel quarantine is not required, but self isolation at the destination address is.
