Clicking on the link in the OP does not work for me, but if I copy and paste the link into a new tab it works...

OK I stand corrected.
Regarding missing the original report back date: Because it's a 250Km round trip from my house to immigration, Mrs M rang them before the report back date and they told here to ring the next week. When she rang the next week, it still wasn't ready and told her to ring the next week and it was then ready to collect.
I should have been more specific in my original post

I don't think you can get a re-entry permit based on an "under consideration" stamp (experience at Kap Choeng). I got my extension 10 days after the original "under consideration" date stamped in my passport, and the IO said I couldn't leave the country until my extension was approved....

RIP Binnsy
Sincere condolences to your family

I have just had a first hand report of Korat Immigration refusing all 90 day reports or services from Buriram residence. They must go to Kap Choeng Immigration. This was put into effect January 1.
Thats a pisser....living in Nongki, I do my extensions & re-entry permits @ Kap Choeng, but have been doing my 90 day reports @ Korat (Dan Kwien) as do most of the lads living in and around Nongki....120Km round trip to Dan Kwien, 250Km round trip to Kap Choeng...

The better team won tonight. We may have done better if we had started with just 10 men.....
Cattermole & Fletcher were a big miss....very surprised that Johnson was taken off, as were the SAFC faithful
Don't understand why Stephen Gerrard was taken off after his significant contribution..a minor injury was the excuse....doesn't fly with me..but happy he was

I'm currently "under consideration" waiting for my extension based on marriage to be approved. I applied @ Kap Choeng and was told that I would get a home visit. It's not my first marriage extension and was told the reason we were going to be visited was that I was changing from a retirement extension to a marriage extension. I never had a visit for my first mariage extension 4 years ago. The visit itself was quite painless. My wife got a phone call in the morning to inform us of the time they would arrive. The 2 officers who turned up were professional and courteous. They asked us a few non-invasive questions and took a couple of photos then they wanted to interview the Puyai Ban & his helper who confirmed our marriage, signed a few documents and provided copies of their ID cards & blue house books. Took less than an hour in all.

You may wish to ring the immigration office before making the trip, in case the extension has not been approved yet, to avoid the possibility of a wasted journey. I guess it depends on how far you live from your local immigration office. For me it's a 250Km round trip....

When I did my marriage extension @ Kap Choeng on Dec 11th, there was no mention of my wife having to fill in a TM30. She has never completed one....Perhaps it's because I already show her house book & ID card as proof of my address when I do the extension, so it's already recorded??

Thanks for the fast reply.
it's quite frustrating that there appears to be very little documentary guidance for using the new (BETA test) online visa application.
I agrre with your earlier comments about the systems poor design which is in some parts misleading and ambiguous.
Let's hope the final release is simpler, easier to use and less ambiguous.

OK Thanks for letting me know.
Could you give me a link to the origin of this info please?

The question shown ( current passport details) are your passport details. The question is actually aimed at applicants who may be married to, or traveling with, their spouse/partner who is not British or Thai, and the UKVI want to know his details too.
When it asks for the applicant's parents' details, if they don't have a passport just put none. The form is poorly designed, and ambiguous in places, unfortunately. It is also still in "Beta" (testing) mode since it came into being some time ago.

There is no option to specify "NONE" for applicant's parents details...all the required fields are mandatory as far as I can see...happy to be corrected though by someone more knowledgeable than me
Sorry, I'm a bit confused. If it asks for parents details, then you must put something. The applicant must know her parents' names ? If she doesn't know their date of birth, use 1 Jan 1900. If she doesn't know their place of birth, put Thailand. That should do it.
Tony M
OK I misinterpreted the highlighted line in your post above. I thought you were saying not to enter any details if they didn't have a passport, when you were actually saying don't enter passport information if they don't have a passport.
I already know my wife's father & mothers names and dates of birth etc....after all they live next door....
By the way I don't think Jan 1 1900 is a good date to use as a birth date....after all that would make the person 115 years old.....

I didn't know whether to post a new topic or use this already running thread about a question I have regarding the online visitor visa application. I'm sure a mod will move it if required. I have registered for the online service as I will be doing the donkey work for Mrs M's visa application later this year. On the Spouse / Partner section there is a question asking for details of any dependent children, including passport details etc. If they are not travelling to the UK do you specify No, or do you have to enter the details regardless?? See attachment

I'm planning a very short trip to the UK (I'm a British citizen) and will be applying for a general visitor visa for my wife. I still have the majority of my money in a UK bank. I will be declaring that I will be cover all the costs of the visit. Will my bank statements be sufficient to meet the financial requirements to support my wifes aplication?

I'm sure all the New York City supporters will be jumping up and down....
Their season hasn't started yet but at least they are getting a glimpse of what they will be getting
Eventually 2 months into their season...

Sunderland's 10 men defence line is proving very difficult to break down.
Yes, it's not pretty..but business is business..shame Lee Cattermole has a groin injury, if he was fit, then that would have made things more interesting
Proof of income for Retirement Extension
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

When i did my extension based on marriage @ Kap Choeng in December, I saw an English guy have his application for an extension based on retirement denied because the IO wanted bank statements to back up the letter he had from the British Embassy confirming his pension income....I guess it just depends on who handles your application on the day....
