all this is well and good but i do not have a printer, so i dont fancy forking out 3000 baht for a printer, i will stick with my lat phroa, office taxi there and back 200 baht, and a nice mall to have a look round to.
You could print it at a local internet shop for a very small fee....

Heinz are one of the worst beans around....HP are far superior but not seen them here and Brookes beans come a close second...just my opinion of course

In your case and mine it is because your record does not exist because your last entry was in 2008. Apparently the database the system searches rolls over at some point and deletes the oldest records.
Others may get it because they have gotten a new passport since the their last entry.
In some cases it could be there is an error in the record.
As well as those of us doing our 1st report after entering the country 76 days ago. We have no current 90 day report in the system.
You would not get the contact immigration message because you do not have any 90 day reporting record.
You would get a pending application that might not be approved or left pending. You might also get an approved one dependent upon the office the application is sent to.
@bdenner: I was in a similar situation, as I did my first online 90 day report around 76 days after entering Thailand and mine was approved

I successfully lodged my 90 day report yesterday (10 June) (14 days in advance) sending around 9.30am received email notification by 4.30pm.
BTW my last entry into Thailand was Jan 2014 & my location is Bangkok.
I have a question::::: when is the next 90 days to be calculated from (I guess from 10 June ) ?
There's no indication on the approval form.
My next 90 day report is 90 days from the date of approval

My immigration office (Kap Choeng) also require other forms to be completed.
1. Acknowledgement of the conditions of your permission to stay
2. Acknowledgement that you understand the penalties which may be enforced due to overstay
3. Income form
For people whose designated office is Kap Choeng, more info and the above forms can be found on the Buriram Expats forum....courtesy of a very helpful guy called urleft....

Try Lurpak butter. You can get it at the bigger Tesco stores and I think I've seen it in Makro

Success!!
Just received a notification by email that my 90 day online report has been approved (applied on Saturday June 6th)
Kap Choeng is my designated immigration office. It's a big deal for me as it is a 250Km round trip and KC don't accept mail in reports.
PS I've read elsewhere that you need to have either a hotmail, live, yahoo or gmail email address to receive the email notification....this isn't true

I had a look-see in my local 7-11 this morning. There were three different brands of eggs packaged in pairs, but they were still in the shell and the picture made it look like the yolk was runny. Are the true hard boiled eggs still in shell or peeled?
The fully hard boiled eggs are still in the shells

They are generally used in the cups of instant noodles.
Yes, that's what Mrs M bought them for.....

I just discovered yesterday that our house (Nongki) is now on street view....

TM7 is an application for an extension of stay....TM47 is for a 90 day report....
Thank you for that important correction. Sorry...
You are welcome..no need to be sorry..one of your other posts I read before I posted < http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/829638-90-day-reporting-online-tm47/#entry9470616 > led me to believe you thought a 90 day report was the same as applying for an extension of stay....so I tried to be helpful....my bad

Pack of of 2 cooked boiled eggs
I've wanted to buy these but afraid they're not fully cooked and might have semi-solid yolks instead of fully cooked firm ones. What's the verdict?
They're fully cooked; great for a quick egg salad sandwich or whatever.
7-11s around me have two types, one of which is a half boiled egg.
Yes, I got a surprise when I cracked the semi boiled egg into the frying pan thinking it was a raw egg as it was in a different coloured pack to the full boiled egg....it still fried OK though....

I think the post by OJAS #207 above addresses this.....

It looks like the main problem is the variance in local rules.
It's very annoying. You don't really know what is required from one year to another.
I pity someone living 50 km from the office.
It's a 250Km round trip to my designated office....and they don't accept mail in reports

I've read elsewhere that individuals whose designated office is Kap Choeng are having a reasonable degree of success....I'll know better next week when I try the online system for the first time....

Has anybody else like me done a "walk in" 90 day report and received a receipt printed on a piece of recycled paper which contains a copy of someone else's passport ID page on the reverse side?? As already pointed out by UJ, what about the copies of your passport page when you rent a car or motorcycle, check into a hotel or register a SIM card????? Can't understand why these "technical experts" are getting their panties in a twist....
If you don't want to use the online system THEN DON'T
Register a SIM card? Must have had about a dozen of those and no 7/11 clerk has ever asked me for my passport.
Seriously though, is there anything special about online 90 day reporting apart from the 15-7 day window?
Check this out about Sim card registration.... http://tech.thaivisa.com/sim-card-registration-starts-today/3627/

What I do is monitor TV for any reported changes (at my designated office - Kap Choeng) and close to my renewal date I ask my local drinking mates if they are aware of any local idiosyncrasies that I need to be aware of....never had a problem yet.....
-
Good report. Thanks to OP

Thanks everyone. Down to check it out after breakfast. Speaking of....anywhere for a good value breakfast (other than the Pullman?)
There used to be a bar near the Pullman called Eric's....I've had a few good breakfasts there (but not recently) ....owner was a scouser called Dave if I recall correctly....seemed a decent bloke....

Just read a Beeb article headline that says Ashley confirms he will not leave NUFC until he wins something.
Does a Championship playoff final in 2017 qualify as "winning something"?
It is true that they buy a 5 gram tube of trophy polish every 25 years.......just in case...LOL

We are talking about retirement extensions, I think. Anyway, a copy of my water bill or electricity bill, showing my name and address seems to work just fine.
Yes, at which office?????
-
It would be useful if posters could identify their designated immigration office when stating what they were asked to provide which would be helpful to those who have the same designated office...just my opinion of course
