if this is enforced as another thread poster today has been rejected not even a fine for an extension, then this will change the whole way foreigners stay on this land until these nationalists are released of their stranglehold.
foreigners renting 15k under will have more and more thai owners going no way jose, i can rent to a thai, forget renting to the farang hassle and tax etc. over 15k more thai owners wont have the same choices, as some thais can buy, outside bangkok then those amounts would be reduced, but hell for many of us trying to find a thai owner to do this 'will' become the next major hassle for many of us for 2019 if its entirely enforced. thanks illegal nationalists, thanks a lot
-
i can imagine many thai owners not wanting the hassle or the idea maybe they may have to pay tax by renting to non-thai. thanka to the illegal natuonalists we are fast becoming the disgusting bogeymen to avoid at all costs

sounds like it's not a witch hunt against foreigners but foreigners are being impacted by your apartment management not following the law.
my apartment owners supply all the required information on tenants to the local police. i was told an IO was going to visit me months ago but they never turned up. when i mentioned this to the apartment owner he told me that the IO probably checked the records with the police and as i was shown to be staying here and they had my up to date visa details there was no reason to visit me.
as far as i know immigration have never visited a foreigner in my building.
there are no ivory towers here, with the billions of rentable buildings it would be impossible to check all buildings. Its the unlucky buildings that are being chosen, zero to do with individuals staying as to why a building is witchunted that day by the illegal nationalists. just this op had the balls to put it on this forum. many read this and a few have had the same but just kept quiet.
sathu pradit soi 13/15 had 5 towers raided on a sunday, and all occupants were not allowed to leave their appartments until they were given the all clear by imm that their papers/passports were in order. yes extreme but the ops is a lighter witchunt but its the same game

good on you for letting people know
another round of busting balls when there are no checks and balances on these nationalists. tm28/tm30 were an easy excuse to raid residences to continue their rhetoric. in ratchada, i saw a imm. convey of motorbikes and pick ups, no helmuts by the way, on the 'lookout' at around 7pm, the other day, either on their way to sukhumvit or the night market.
btw the more landlords etc give foreigners the wide berth, the more fuel on to an already worsening econonomy and property market.

This is weird. You didn't use your catch phrase this time. Usually you tell all other members to comply with the rules without any questions or discussion or leave. Love the username, sorry it went to your head. Just imagine what you could have done with that money if you were just a "good guy" and didn't need to buy an "elite visa". You could feed poor rural village for a day easily. But people have priorities, you got the elite visa. Understood. Nothing wrong doing that. Stepping into the forum telling people to get out though, is a whole new ball game. If you sat next to me at a bar or struck up a conversation with me at a food stall, I guarantee if I said visa changes were a problem you wouldn't dare tell me to comply or get out. And if some old man told you he was stressed because he has there grandchildren with birthdays this month and he promised to help his youngest son buy a new home, I don't think you would tell him to f*** off and get out. Would you? (I read your previous posts. Telling people to comply is not help or guidance. Get off the stage you Prima Donna!)
he doesnt have an elite card, hes admitted to that, its just twisted that he uses the visa in his username to become some authority on elite or other visas, when in reality he is talking nonsense most of the time. But yeah it makes other card holders look like junta loving self serving lovers of thai illegal nationslists. Which is not true. Let me tell you i respect all visa holders who ever you are and i am disgusted that user is allowed to get away with it

here we go 1000's of naff propaganda articles on the economy doing well, red shirts are finished lol, lets see the chuckle p gang showing in a free and fair election and see what happens, not the disaster of this election when they couldnt even rig their own rigged election, laughable, i give them 1-2 year tops, before the end of these illegal goons wearing uniforms

Doesn't exactly help when you "tease" out information, with words like TM30-28 will be the least of your worries , does it.
its the illegal nationalists that have pushed for the cyber laws and created monitoring teams going back 11 years. Lets see how long they last under the current climate when the people are just sick of them.

The country has a perfectly legitimate working government. They are absolutely 100% not in limbo. You really shouldn't listen to internet and media talk.
you should stop making people believe you know what you talking about by using a visa name in your username to give that air of authority.
its over for these illegal nationalists, their 5 years of hell pushing 100's of naff laws is coming to an end, its just how long they hang on now.
there're have been punch drunk with no checks and balances and have created damage which will take years to correct. immigration is one of many departments to be taken over by these nationalists. laughable to see other nationalists pushing the insurance scam, anyone in government can change acts, orders and personnel.
lets see how long they last 1-2 years maybe, maybe not, 5 years not a chance in hell, not after the chuckle p brothers disaster of a obvious rig show of an election

i honestly wouldn't mind the malaysian system.
At least it's a longterm visa with no bs, no stupid 90 day reports, tm30 bs and the other shortcomings. Also it's for people of age 35 plus and not 50 plus like here....
yes but malaysia copied some of their programme from the thai's 3 million baht investment visa which was ended years ago . Nowadays under these nationalists even less people will go for it. There is also the issue of 3 million in, lots if hassles when transferring out. But never mind i am sure some nationslist will hope to promote it and find out that people will just laugh at the idea and go ,up yours, this is thailand not switzerland where people still use pavements as toilets.
If you had a stable free and democratic gov. for a few years, then i can see 1 or 2 going yeah thats not too bad, but under these nationslists , no way
and whose to say the joker boy wont be sidelined soon enough when the billion dollar partners start panicking about the economy and put in place more welcoming ideas at imm. yeah i am dreaming right now but over the next 1-2 years things on this land will be different. Last sunday saw to that, its the start of people wanting these goons out

I think you misunderstood. The meeting had nothing to do with this topic.
There should of been an announcement regarding the police orders about the alcohol sales ban called for over the SongKran holiday. That appears to of manifested from a one day ban on the 13th April too a complete ban over the whole of the period due to SongKran being celebrated on different days in different provinces/towns. Nothing was decided as those making the decision have been unavailable due to other, more important things. The media seems to be running with the story today.
I have no more information or indeed a date for any further update.i lost your reply in my other post but it seems you pander far too much to the whims of an illegal nationslist gang who have put in place people in every department over 5 years to create a nationslist fiasco including the imm. dept.
its laughable, well i had a good laugh that anyone under these naff economic times thinking to re-hash the 3 million investment visa blah blah that was dispanded years ago. These nationalists just wont be around in 5 years. Maybe 1-2 years tops.
Then what?reality check, trying to forge friendships with foreign investors again, laughable, they wont come back, that boat would have sailed.
last 12 months billions of dollars have exited from investment funds, now some of the smaller guys are going up yours
insurance, reporting, increase of investment requirements, its a twisted nationslist game. And after sunday the chuckle p gang couldnt even rig their own rigged game correctly without getting caught.
There is no way they will be alowed to keep messing this upby their billion dollar partners. And thats before the people start taking back control. Its starting and these nationalists policies will be discarded for the sake of a sinking economy.

that goes to show, people with more money are leaving not just those with less money. Then you have billions of dollars taken out of the country from large investments over the last 12 months. Whilst the global economy is turning downwards sharply. If you keep busting peoples balls with naff laws for everyone thai and foreign, you just increase the downtrend sharply for this land's economy.
before it changes against these nationalists, this land will have lost so many investors

there are always tipping points, you never know how long it takes to change path, but that tipping point in my mind has been breached. income matters and billion dollar companies are complaining in naff business sections of having less long term stayers. the more damage these illegal nationalists do, the more it will be corrected. its just matter of when, not if and how many of us leave in the meantime.
as for the thais, they have hundreds of laws being forced upon them that will take years to repair, its nuts

People simply don't want to believe it. Why do you think the London Thai Embassy has held off on implementing the new online visa application system until May? BJ only needs to come up with the measures of stopping what is portrayed on social media on a daily basis, as ways too circumvent the immigration system. That is his job. The Malaysian bond style system has been spoken about at length at committee meetings for the last 18 months. That is very likely to come in to effect over the next 5 years but most likely in stages.
these illegal nationslists in control now do 'not' have a majority mandate to keep running this land into the ground. they are pushing through 100's of laws that people dont want, knowing it will take years to correct the mistakes. their mandate about foreigners was set along with the other rules, to control this land before sutheps mob and at a one day stadium protest, lasting 7 hours with dinosaur generals hyping themselves 7 years ago.
going forward there will be much more anger from billion dollar businesses about decreasing long term stayers, not just the will of the people.
just last week in the other naff paper the ceo of mall group said their 60 billion investment in 2 new complexes on the outskirts of bkk included a business plan of long term stayers. the ceo was quoted as saying the gov. should help bring more long term stayers not less as the gov. was too focused on short term stays.
lets see over the years when these nationalists are kicked out, how many of these new rules, future rules will stay or vanish.
the turning point was last sunday, thats why they are rushing through laws

The laws have always been enforced for hotels, resorts, and some condos. Other, very inconvenient parts of the law have been ignored, as they should be. Then sometime last year a foreigner (I think Chinese) living in a high rise condo along the Chaophraya river started complaining to officials about noise (imagine!, in Thailand!) coming from a nearby Wat with a large bell. So it starts with a foreigner complaining about a Thai Wat to Thai officials.
While investigating what's wrong with this foreigner or how to get rid of him to preserve Buddhism, they discover there is no record of his residency, or the residency of most foreigners renting from Thai condo owners in the building. So Thai culture is being threatened by missing TM30s.
Now, Thai Immigration is run by the Royal Thai police who have no power to make laws, only the government can do that. And, immigration is currently involved in cleaning up their own rampant corruption including external Thai agents, and now it seems Thais renting to foreigners. Since they can't make new laws they must fully enforce TM30, which is simply not possible.
i dont know how you came up with that picture, but this hostile environment has increased since the nationalists took over 5 years ago, remember 500,000 burmese/cambodians fleeing to the borders 4 years ago?
7 years ago a single dinosaur nationalist protest at a stadium next to mbk lasted 1 day and soon after changed clothes to be the bangkok shutdown mob, but for those 7 hours, that day, spoke of their intentions, we were just 1% of their speech, but most of what they said has come to fruition. Yes its was hype but shutting down the country for 5 years and kicking out foreigners, for all of the bravado, they are starting to inch away those nationalist statements that day.

I agree. Traveling abroad is risky. Staying at home is risky.
I was talking though SPECIFICALLY about the visa promise when buying an Elite Card.
I think people assume that visa promise is 100 percent guaranteed for the length of the card.
I don't see it that way.
i try to respect all people and their visas no matter how different we all are. I find it weird that even now with the illegal nationalists turning the screw on every area of immigration life, that we have posters looking down on people who want a little more security in their lives than a 12 month run around, that game is just horrible under these nationalists.

frightening what these nationalists can get up to in a very short space of time with no checks and balances. One good thing going forward(if theres anyone of us left) they will never have the popular or majority mandate, not after the disaster we all witnesed at the weekend.
The article could be talking about a host of visas etc, we can all be thinking the worst over any new details right now, not just those on retirement visas.

I'm lost. What are these children doing insofar as making visa extensions, without their parents and needing paid agents outside the school?
pretty sure the schools set it up with parents for agents for those that dont want to diy it, its been a daily occurance at n-section for years, top tier schools, even other schools , kids in uniforms and agents directing operations. you see the odd foreign parent with their children, but nothing like the numbers being processed by agents. I seen it for years now and its got worse since the nationalists have been around. 80% of their work students and 20% for teachers, hell i even had an agent on the desk with the immi official helping her do my visa for a joke, i have a totally different visa to ed. imo but thats the way it is at n-section, agents galore
-
if its a fairer system then people will need agents less, when its stacked against you with nationalists then people will use agents more
just have to see n-section at cw where agents of top international schools are leading in the wealthy students in their uniforms, normal, happens everyday there, nobody is kicking up a fuss, in fact the larger organisations like large schools, probably think its the best and only way to get things done, especially under the present conditions

500k for nearly 5-6 years is 80-100k baht a year
1 million for nearly 20-24 years is 40-50k baht a year
if these nationalists stay in for a few more years, lawyers fees will cost more annually for a 12 month stay on many other long stay visas
forget trying to DIY a visa if they stay in power, it will become just less hassle to pay extra for 'others' to try to handle it
nothing is cheap anymore, money stagnate in accounts etc, the days of getting by on peanuts for a stay of life on this land has been over for a while, thanks illegal nationalists, thanks alot
-
most of the families around me who send their kids to international schools are thai and the going rate is 800-1.2 million a year, one of the boys is at boarding at harrow 1.8 million a year, i can see the market decreasing their profit margins and increasing quality and better facilities, its needed one girl just moved from primary riverside shrewsbury school, 24 in a class to the new shrewsbury at rama 9, now 8 in her class, you hear all the good and bad from their parents, but crikey are they overly expensive, 1.8 million boarding is on a par with eton etc in the uk and please dont tell me the teaching will be the same, it be cheaper to send a to the uk

If they won't allow people who have overstayed to renew the TE visa then I simply won't renew it until maybe they change the rules or perhaps never, I can get a retirement visa in a few years anyway.
if contacting them now over a phone or in person with showing the details in the passport maybe they can give an answer and mention any changes they have been told and how it exactly affects past/present/future. This i am sure they know as this topic would have been exchanged many times recently with the increase of nationalist propaganda against foreigners and long term stayers and they will be on friendly terms with immigration to know whats going with changes in the wind daily/weekly/monthly. Maybe in person you get a more clearer response, the one problem with call centers that they csn give an overall answer not an individual answer

nice article
shame about the 'washington square' types on here who keep forgetting that humans on this land= 400,000+ with hiv, 27,000 road kills and millions of wildlife abused or killed without being used for unhealthy meat eaters. A few reactions by homeless animals is no need to keep requesting their deaths. Thailand has 1% of the worlds population but pollutes 16% of the ocean waste discharge. This low iq attitude throughout asia under crime gang dictatorships will end up killing every species on this planet. No need to keep blaming homeless animals who just want to live like all of us. We need to share this planet and stop asia destroying the oceans and forests before its too late

Tourist Visa Extension denied at Immigration Office due to missing tm30 slip
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Posted
i am not here to argue when i try to respect all visa holders, but how the hell do you include the elite visa into this topic! recently there were 2 posters who were granted elite visas with an overstay history so maybe that thread needs to updated, but its easy to panic with many visas at the moment
but for me this topic is a potential monster under the umbrella of nationalists without any checks or balances.
