  1. The restaurant is more pricey and higher quality food than a typical 3-walled restaurant. Not too special though, no air condition, but lots of fans . . . :)

(sorry, I always wanted to use that icon!)

and sorry , I can't understand this phrase (I don't know if I get it correct)

"and I'm not sure why its a different amount for different dishes"

    can you explain for me?

    For example: ราดข้าว กับข้าว

    เปรี้ยวหวาน 80บ 150บ

    กระเทียมพริกไท 50บ 70บ

    ไข่เจียวหมูสับ 35บ 45บ

Especially the first example, paying 70 more baht for just rice? Doesn't make since. And you *must* choose either ราดข้าว or กับข้าว, there is no other price option. ง๊งงง

(I asked them for a copy of the menu, so these are real examples)

    farangnahruck....

you are not paying the extra 70 baht for rice.... nope....

the extra 70 THB is for the extra portion of the dish selection that you order, rather....

when you order something as GubKow, กับข้าว, you are indicating that you want your order prepared by itself.... without rice or noodle on the same plate....

for example, i may want to order some curry as GubKow.... so i may partake it with my french bread.... rather than with ordinary rice or sticky rice.... my GubKow portion would be larger in quantity.... thus higher price.... :D

farangnahrak.... are you really the farangnahrak--ฝรั่งน่ารัก.... trimmed, fit and loveable.... as your thai name implied....? a really nice thai name indeed.... cheers ..... :D

  2. You are NOT Thai.

Why do you dislike your place of birth.

    Strange.

The poor of Thailand support the Reds.

You say you are a leftist.

You are confused in backing the current government.

It is a puppet of the ruling families who have done over 17 coups.

You like Red China? The ruling 20 families hate the communists.

    You love Thailand and China?

Oh well. Keep up the good work.

    Hi Tom....

just want clarify some of your statement and understanding in reference to:

1--the current govt is a puppet of the ruling families....?

did you know this for sure....? or do you just repeating what some others said....?

members of the family does not hand down order to govt.... only on very rare occasion, that someone is summoned to have an audience.... yes, i spoke from personal knowledge.

2--the ruling family done 17 coups....?

again, did you do a primary search on this....? or did you just heard or read something to that effects....?

the family members felt the hurt and pain of the innocents.... each has tremendous compassion.... none would seek personal glorification.... not that any needs it....

if you recalled, a year or so back, a no-name lady passed away, caused by some uncalled for govt aggression.... at the latest moment, mourners were informed that the princess would pay respect and tribute....

as the vehicle approached.... there was pin-drop silence.... everyone was expecting to see the youngest princess....

however, suddenly.... there were bursts of cheers.... then loud shouts of SONG-PRA-JA-REARN.... SONG-PRA-JA-REARN.... SONG-PRA-JA-REARN....

instead of a princess.... out stepped the royal majesty queen herself....

the queen told the family members and the mourners.... how very deeply and sadly she and her entire family members felt....

she again won the heart of the nation.... during the darkest hours....

tom.... i am quite confident that history would not support your allegation at all....

however, if you have any contradictory historical evidence.... pls do share with us....

  3. I hear a lady this morning saying she is angry with the PM for not stopping these people, she has in the past been strongly anti red and supportive of the PM....

What the answer is I dont know although I do think the PM's approach has and is working and he can not be blamed for the actions of these murderers....

RIP for those killed and a quick recovery for the injured....

it is very very sad indeed....

the police and military leaders stated that the pm has ordered that redshirts needed to be handled with consideration, gentleness

and care.... which is great and is exactly what a civilized society should react....

so it is extremely important that redshirts need to be protected at all cost.... right? which is evidential since march.....

how about other segments of the thai society, hawkers, merchants, businessmen....? are they or are they not thai citizen as well....?

do they or do they not deserve to be equally well protected and handled with extreme care and consideration....?

or do they deserve to be injured and/or die in the process of preserving lives and dignity of a bunch of protesters who ignore law and order....?

WHOSE SIDE IS P.M. APISIT ON REALLY....? OR DOES APISIT REALLY KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING?

my heart bleeds for those who were injured and several who died, especially those defenseless civil servants who followed apisit's order.... peaceful and without weapons.... while attempting to protect their own enemy of the state....

apisit.... the court several weeks ago chastised you for coming to the court and seeking sanction from the court to dissolve the illegal gathering....

the judge told you succinctly that you are already empowered by the constitution to keep law and order of the land.... and that you truly do not need to seek further sanction from any court.... to clean up the illegal gathering.... and that has been weeks ago....

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE SINCE, MY DEAR P.M.... ?????

MANY LIVES HAVE BEEN LOST SINCE THAT DAY BECAUSE OF YOUR UNWILLINGNESS TO CARRY OUT YOUR LAWFUL DUTIES AS THE CHAMPION OF THE LAWS....

if you are unwilling to care for and protect the innocents as well.... perhaps it is about time that you should allow someone else to resolve this mess.... more expeditiously under the laws and constitutional authority.... <your friend who is choking....>

  4. barnicalebob

    r u serious?

so u r inferring that the entire royal family members whenever they gathered for an official ceremony,

their sole intention of circling the white candles three times and waving their right palms outward....

meant as you said.... to gather negative energy and to dispell it outward....?

did your thai wife enlighten you to that....? :)

i'll ask my pretty wife tomorrow morning and see.... what she says.... :D

  5. NO, CAN'T DO....

using belg or usa or other passports to exit: at malaysian immig at the border, they will ask you why there is no thai immig stamp on your belg passport....?

using thai passport to exit: they will ask the same question--why no thai immig EXIT stamp....?

let's see.... if someone can figure out some other more creative ways to beat this merry go round.... with all due respect to all thaivisa friends.... :)

@ Adenai: I was working as a house parent in the international school. But I could have taught French there. British international schools don't usually hire Americans *-*

Have some respect for your father and his country: I do... Why should you even mention it ? But I don't see how it relates to a teaching job in an international school.

The requirement you don't seem to know... well, erm I've needed a work permit ever since I've been working in Thailand with my Belgian citizenship.

I need a visa run now because my visa was rendered invalid when I gave back my work permit and now I need 15 days extensions until I get my renewed passport. Geeeeezzzz ? Does it sound so unfathomable ?

The Belgische Patateke seems to know what he's talking about... Have some respect for other nationalities...

@ others : For your info, I have the ID and the 'Tabien Baan' so I could get the thai passport.

@ Terry: Thank you for the info but why going out twice ?

    Get your Thai passport.

Leave Thailand on your foreign passport.

Enter Malaysia (or?) on your Thai passport.

    Isn't that enough ?

Leave Malaysia, or wherever, on your Thai passport.

Enter Thailand on your Thai passport.

  6. China Airlines has the best "monkey class" flights from BKK and CNX to LAX. You have to stop in Taiwan but no more than 2 hours. Book out far ahead and check different days of the week. Good luck!

22,250 THB total (about $700) to LAX on 6/30. One way. Good price I think. Their website shows a seven day window with applicable rates, very nice.

I'll check the other sites and post on those too, so others might benefit.

700 usd for a single journey from bkk to usa.... is expensive

you should not have to pay more than 900 usd for a roundtrip.... depending on the month....

during the most heavily travelled summer months.... round turn fare should be around 1,200 usd....

again it depends on which airline you choose to indulge yourself in....

and how much sufferings--long haul flight with up to 40 hrs getting from usa to bkk.... you are willing to endure....

if i remembered correctly, it took only about 12 hrs to fly from sfo to bkk.... with tailwind.... :)

  7. transferring THB out of TH as large as 10 digit, if you could answer questions in the required brief form, never constitute any problem for anyone....

the govt just wants to ascertain that the money is legit....

it is the destination country that might on occasion requires more details filing....

but if you completed a couple of legit transactions.... and your name is in the system.... you should have no difficulty.... cheers

  8. just curious....

SreeSaGate is quite remote and barren, mostly.

there is not even the slightest remote resembling with dublin.... :)

what in SreeSaGate is attracting your involvement there, pls? :D

It is easy to transfer from any Irish bank to Bangkok Bank. As Thai do not use sort code you will need the Swift code of Bangkok Bank which is : BKKBTHBK.

I have transfered many times from Ireland and there is never a problem. It takes 4 - 7 days depending on your Irish bank. Note with the bad exchange rate, you need to calculate whether to send the money in Euro or Thai baht from Dublin.

or open a Euro account with Bangkok Bank & transfer what you need as you need it into Baht

  9. HERE is a translation in english from the ministry of foreign affairs....

in reference to DUAL CITIZENSHIP.... and circumstances and country of jurisdiction.... and revocation issues....

somehow thaivisa does not allow me to post the original thai text and doc for some unknown reasons.... if anyone needs original thai text to verify accuracy, plse email me, ok?

(any error is attributable largely to my advanced senility)

    Thai Foreign Affairs Dept

The response IN REFERENCE TO DUAL CITIZENSHIP as referenced in item No. 2 above, is to be deemed only as preliminary and a personal opinion, which can not be construed nor interpreted as a departmental nor a governmental policy.

Question: Does Thailand allow Thai citizen to have two nationalities? And under what circumstances? In my case, I (female) already attained Permanent Residency in Australia and is going to apply for an Australian Citizenship. But before finalizing my decision, I would like to know if Thailand would permit its citizen to hold dual citizenship. And in case if Thailand does not permit dual citizenship, if I become an Australian naturalized citizen, and sometime in the future I am desirous to relocate to Thailand and wish to purchase dwelling and real property under my own name; can I do that? And can I reapply to reinstate my Thai nationality again?

Response: The Law dealing with Nationality of 1965 which was rectified in 1992 (2nd and 3rd Editions) does not directly expound regarding having Thai Nationality and other Nationality at the same time and it does not regulate that a Thai national having another Nationalization at the same time shall lost the Thai Nationality because of the fact that, that person also having another nationality. Therefore, if a person holding a Thai Nationality and also another Nationality concurrently, does not express intention to denounce the Thai Nationality nor commit any act which might cause the government to revoke its Nationality status; and no other circumstances (offenses) that might cause the person to lose the Thai Nationality; or does or says anything which can be construed as admitting oneself as an alien; such person can therefore hold Thai Nationality and another Nationality concurrently. However, whether the person will lose one Nationality or not, would depend on the law of the country of jurisdiction. In your case, Ms. DuangJai, you may seek further additional details and policies from the Ministry of Defense which proscribes over Nationality laws and practices.

  10. supernova....

i am very sorry that i have to massively disagree with you in ref to pm apisit....

the current pm, apisit, is not a failure at all.... as you attibuted him to be....

on the contrary, he is a complete gentleman, thoroughly.... inside and outside....

perhaps, because of his gentleness and full of compassion and mercy toward others.... even the opposing redshirts themselves....

he was willing to settle the issues with the 3 redshirt core leaders on a conference table.... which was televised nationwide, not once but twice....

he even was willing to do it for the third time.... but the redshirt leaders were the one who refused his gracious gesture....

the current pm is morally upright, smart, gentle, fair and full of compassion for all.... whether they are southerners, northerners, westerners, easterners or bangkokians themselves....

in my estimation, and i totally agreed with asiacheese.... he is several notches above..... the convicted escapee tuksin, somchai and samark....

and i'll be saying the same thing as i stated above to the ex pm--mr chuan.... tomorrow morning, sunday the 18th....

    <snip>

Abhisit has received a lot of bashing (he's making mistakes like everyone else, and yes, he's from a rich family -- so what?), but I vaguely remember him having made a point of getting better education underway, for example. He's not putting asphalt on a stretch of road through a village or organizing loans that from the start never have a chance of being paid back, ever. I personally think that he's a guy with a lot of integrity and for once someone who really could do something for the country. What a bloody shame he's being thrown off the track by a bunch of anarchists who are backed by a criminal on the run...

Abhisit was thrown off track the day he aligned himself with Prem. Had he chose not to serve the elitist agenda, I believe things would have turned out quite differently.

Abhisit was never in control, not since the day he took office. His policies were dictated by the powers that be from the very beginning. With Suthep Thaugsuban frequently overstepping his authority, it became the perfect recipe for disaster. All things considered, it doesn't come as any surprise (to me) why this Oxford-educated young man turned out to be a massive failure. Yet another political casualty. :)

    Thanks for the link.

Wonder why Thaksin is so quiet? What about the cancer rumouers?

I think he is quiet now because of the criminal implications against him if the reds fail. All of the red leaders have arrest warrants on them, and if the reds lose, things could get even trickier for Thaksin, with fewer and fewer countries willing to accommodate Mr. Hot Potato. Also he clearly can no longer be politically active from Dubai. Also remember the sniper business is still open to investigation.

Even if the Reds win, there's no guarantee Thaksin will get immunity.

  11. the police is provided with standard equipment....

but if they want anything fancier and/or with more auxiliaries.... they then would have to pay themselves....

or if you like.... you can donate one or two.... as you wish.... :D

What a mockery all this comes to....

I m sure the public here is also unaware police here have to buy their own guns meaning there is a huge market for weapons and ease of access to almost anyone.

It is well known Thailand runs as perhaps the most corrupt country in SE Asia and this 'display' of inability to control the 'out-of-control' means things need to happen and now.

    :)

  12. LOL.... LOL.... LOL.... :):D

animatic.... can you not make your presentation a little shorter....? yet with the same dramatic effects....? :D

    Gill Scott Heron -

The Revolution Will Not Be Televised

.....The revolution will not be televised, will not be televised,

will not be televised, will not be televised.

    The revolution will be no re-run brothers;

    The revolution will be live.

I have seen him perform this live twice.

    Always powerful.

Now I contrast this with the Red Leaders being so insistent that

    THEIR revolution MUST be Televised.

Turn back on PTV, or we rampage in the street.

Without their TV connection with the folks back home, there IS NO SPONTANEOUS REVOLUTION.

No Thakisn video connections, not international support structure for the poor down trodden reds.

No TV = no revolution.... my the worm has turned.

So as noted above : The Revolution WILL be Televised.

  13. Just read in that other online paper that the UDD leaders will surrender May 15th :):D:D

Why not today, and what will they do for the next month? They must be betting that the PM on May 15 will be one that will be handing out amnesty to reds for all their crimes.

i surely hope and pray that they are correct....

but may 15, is a long way off....

some may be able to surrend vertically.... while others might have to surrender horizontally.... even before may 15.... a date that is meaningless and eternal in the scope of events presently prevail....

my heart is much saddened.... for the redshirt leaders.... individually and collectively.... EVERYONE OF THEM ARE ALREADY MILLIONNAIRES,

ESPECIALLY FOR VEE-RA.... HE EVEN HAS PLENTY OF EARTHLY POSSESSIONS IN U.S.A.... confirmed by thai restaurant source....

ask him to deny it.... while he is speaking on the podium.... THAT IS A TRUE PARADOX.... a millionnaire disguided as a poor redshirt comrade.... fighting for social equality and all.... :D

surely this is nothing new.... right? for most of the more informed thaivisa readers and posters....

  14. grandpops....

and where are you from.... sir? :D

do you live in korat.... sir? :D

i'll be very happy to donote 100,000 to the charity of your choice.... sir :D

if the redshirts can successfully, as you suggested, negotiate with the army and the biz community.... and

another 100,000 to the redshirt coffer.... if you can prove to the thaivisa community and readers alike that....

there are some 30 mil redshirt supporters around....

i am just curious.... is your attending physician named.... DOCTOR WHENG....? :D

the redshirted doctor wheng was the first to publicly announced during their negotiation with apisit govt that the redshirts has some 20 or more million supporters.... :)

and now grandpops.... you are saying the number has grown to 30 mil....

well.... just prove it to the thaivisa communities.... alright? and i'll be more than happy to donate to your favourite charity.... :D

as far as the 300,000 silent majority supporters on facebook, it is really a surprise to everyone alike.... by now it could have

grown to a much larger number....

as grandpops said.... stranger things happened.... indeed who knows.... grandpops could be right too....?

grandpops dear.... wanna give me a rebuttal here.... :D:D

It's another snide piece and another nail in the coffin of journalism at Thailand's premier PAD mouthpiece. References to weight and appearance that would not be tolerated against other groups. Imagine a piece on Hilary Clinton referencing her body shape and appearance and ignoring all she said? Thats how low this pamphlet has sunk.

This was an assassination attempt. All the footage showed the room shot to bits.

They are now pinning their hopes on the Army. Are the Army going to run the country now if the Police can't?

Want to see serious loss of income, support and face for Thailand? Then let the Army go on a killing spree.

I think the smart move for the Reds is to negotiate with the Army. Then they all win, Army, Reds and business district. Leaves Mark and Thaugsabun out in the cold hoping that their 300,000 facebook supporters are enough to outvote 30 million red supporters!!

Mind you, stranger things have happened here.

  15. I wonder if the 6 PAD guards who were caught with a fair few guns and ammo are being treated as 'terrorists'???

The reds dropped a few grenades on the yellows when they were protesting.

So, based on all the "The Yellows did ... " arguments, it's completely acceptable for the yellows to do that against the reds now.

When are people going to stop with these petty arguments of it's OK for the reds because the yellows did it too?

This crap will never stop until people stand up and say "None of it is right! All of them should be in jail."

    you are so very right....

the middle silent majority are already mobilized.... did you not notice their 'first' gathering....?

the next show of apolitical unity.... is the coming sunday, the 18th....

they are saying.... they love thailand and their most revered king, queen and royal family members.... and

they are not gonna put up with this illegal encrotchment and intimidation any longer....

furthermore, whenever the redshirt supporters riding by wtih their motocycles.... these silent majority groups will shout at the redshrits with....

WE LOVE THAILAND.... WE LOVE THAILAND.... WE LOVE THAILAND.... รักชาต รักชาต รักชาต (did i spell that right? LOL)

  16. Re: " Yesterday, 2010-04-16 22:30:11

There is no where near enough information in this to answer correctly.

    1. Did the lady keep up her Thai citizenship by keeping her passport updated?

    2. What year did she become an American citizen? In later years the Thai government allowed dual nationality.

    3. Has the lady yet discussed this with the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs? she should.

dear frank.... ARE YOU SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT....?

i understand you are trying to help and all....

but just since when.... does a thai has to keep up a thai citizenship....?

and just why does this thailand born lady has to discuss with thai foreign affairs....?

she can just get her TAR-BIEN-BARN and subsequently her thai id card.... and pay a small fee.... to get her thai passport.... if she wishes....

she does not have to talk to any ministerial person to complicate the issue, under this circumstances....

    -------

by the way.... are you a passport broker wearing white shirt and black tie roaming in front of the embassy by any chance.... :)

just kidding, alright.... it is so terribly hot these last few days....

  17. Trust me I'm in no hurry. Just checking to find out if it's actually happening. I know it will happen eventually and it has to happen, but with the likely outcome I can't honestly say I want it to happen.

    ditto.... ditto.... ditto....

inasmuch as the thai court sanctioned that the current govt has the constitutional rights to issue orders, to arrest any unlawful gathering.... some two weeks ago....

apisit has been like before.... pussy footing around like a true gentleman.... which in all honesty emboldened the redshirts and its 4 coreleaders even more exponentially....

as is evidential to everyone around the world.... the 4 redshirt leaders including almost all former tuksin's senator friends were lining up on the podiem to openly supporting the redshirt unlawful gathering, movement and open intimidation and incitement of hatred between and among thais....

which under the current emergency laws.... they were all required to personally report to the investigative unit.... and more than half have obediently submitted with vengence in their hearts....

with the new chief in charge.... the end is insight....

    the unlawful gathering with all its supporters, together with its 4 self-interest and self-enriched leaders who proclaim equality for all--in public.... but in-private.... choose to sleep in comfort in hotel rooms....;

will very soon be uprooted and disbanded by the new chief in charge--anupong....

and i personally hope and pray that.... the enforcement of the emergency laws and orders.... will be done with reserve, consideration and mercy, especially for all those common redshirts from esaan.... many come without adequate understanding of what democracy is.... i and many others would say that they are wrongly led to believe that they are fighting for democracy and social equality for everyone.... including their thai brothers and sisters in bangkok as well....

anupong and soldiers of the land.... have mercy please.... they are also your thai brothers and sisters....

if you must shoot.... fire at their lower limbs to disable.... but not to kill.... please....

  18. hi mythbuster

just where do you get all your info from.... pls?

your conclusion is so far out....

for a brief moment, i thought you were one of the redshirt core-leaders presenting 20% fact mixing with 80% twisties story.... vocalized in bellywood style.... :) cheers

This government is unfortunately made up out of power horny morons. The frequent use of the word "Terrorist" means that the people do not give a rats ass about the status, the economy and the reputation of the country.

I try to figure out for a few days why the army went in last Saturday with anti aircraft weapons in their arsenal which according the claims of the army were confiscated by the red shirts. This can only be a set-up. the reds do not have any aircraft who is planning to bring one down? A terrorist? The army? It seems that everything is allowed to stay in power.

The economist was suggesting a election in three months time, which should probably do, if it were not for the deputy of Anupong who wants to take control in September?October. Given the fact that the polls that are so often quoted by the government will be proven to be paid for by the elite and the one and only poll (Elections) will bring parties related to the reds an outright majority his chances of being promoted are nil, zero, nada, which would void the entire coup which brought Thailand only misery.

Sonthi and his fellow couptakers should go to jail for a very very long time and their self proclaimed amnesty revoked.

  19. Am I the only one wondering why Abhisit is handing this over to same guy who said parliament should be dissolved a few days ago?

    -------

    They're Thai! Where's the confusion!

    -------

JUST TO CLEAR UP some points here....

gen anupong himself subsequent explained in another news conference that....

his comment was at that time responding to reporters' question on parliamentary dissolution....

he definitely did not suggest that parliamentary should be dissolved nor that the apisit's govt should quit....

    ok? you guys....

  20. dear brothers and sisters from various different lands....

    may i assure you....

    the end is in sight....

a week or two at most....

it will not be pretty.... but it will be speedy....

the career pro is now in charge.... and his untarnished record and reputation is on the line....

stay tune.... and try not to blink.... you just might miss the unimaginable actions....

it has been hinted and forewarned many times by different govt sources that .... that the area there is dangerous....

it could not be any clearer that locals as well as farangs should stay away....

i do not like what i heard and i dislike it even more.... of what is bounded to happen down the road....

i pray earnestly for restrain.... and more restrain.... HAVE MERCY....

  21. she should not have any problem at all entering thailand....

in her american passport.... on about line 13--shows that she is from thailand.... and she should not have any problem buying a one way tix home....

some of the more major problems she might have is.... how to hangon to all she possesses.... without having to divide and subdivide among her remaining and surviving family members.... who i am certain would be much envious of her....

most of her relatives would never realize.... just what she has to put up, put out and endure for all these long years....

she has my highest esteem and respect.... :D:D:D

besides, if she likes.... upon her return.... she could also request for her thai passport in addition to her u.s. passport....

welcome home.... mighty lady.... it is not easy to live abroad for so very long with a farang husband.... who i hope is generous enough to provide her with his life insurance proceeds.... :)

hopefully, she is not returning with the melodious southern accent.... :D

give her my email if you like.... nakachalet at gmail dot com

    cheers

  22. thanks for the info. double checking what i wrote, 20,000 baht seems like a heap of dough for Chumphon! i've seen postings in this forum for three bedroom houses for 5000 Baht. is that for real? whats the trade off? and why have i been living in Vietnam for so long if that's true?

nakachalet. your joking right? Songkhla? im thinking not!

    worth....

of course i am definitely not joking at all....

there are many germans, swiss, italians, americans, brits living around songkhla for a long long time....

if you have any reservation at all.... just drop by for a few days.... and see for yourself.... ok?

but if you are the party going type.... then songkhla and trung defintely are not the place for you....

other than that.... hatyai, songkhla and trung have all the inexpensive.... but excellent food.... the lodging is comparatively inexpensive as well.... and best of all.... beaches are mostly baren of many farangs.... LOL

and furthermore, there are many excellent pub with live entertainment in trung, such as cha-ngaw and say-yes.... check it out for yourself....

i'll even buy you a drink.... LOL

  23. Everyone I know that's been down to the red protest sites - said it was quite festive and very peaceful. Good people from all reports. :D

However I agree Jing - if the thai military decides to use snipers again, they just might injure or kill foreigners as well as the peaceful red shirts, so best to stay away. :)

    britmaveric

did your post really mean that.... THAI MILITARY USED THE SNIPERS....

the video clip taken by the early dead of the japanese photographer.... may the almighty god bless his soul and his family members....

and was shown yesterday on japanese tele.... revealed that....

the hiding shooters, yes more than one snipers, were shooting from among the redshirts toward the soldiers.... some snipers who were perching on upper floors of the multistory buildings also were shooting toward the soldiers and demonstrators alike....

and as for the redshirt themselves who were shot.... it appeared on the video that.... as these redshirts were turning away from the advancing soldiers.... they were striken down from the forefront.... the entrance of the bullets on their heads and bodies were small but the exit points were torn out.... as the autopsy also revealed and confirmed the trajectory of the bullets were fired from higher ground....

and in reference to the high ranking 4 officers group that was blown up.... were shown on the video clip that several laser pointers were trained on them.... before the snipers opened fire....

especially of interest.... these four officers were active and successful during their last operation to clear up demonstrators.... and perhaps for this reason.... they were taken out as a revenge measure of sort....

britmaveric.... you did not mean to say the snipers were govt sent.... did you?

also.... for those who were at the demonstration.... did you really understand....

WHAT THE REDSHIRT CORE-LEADERS WERE SAYING? and WHAT THEY STAND FOR? and WHAT ARE THEY ULTIMATE GOAL?

all the speech givers were giving 20% truth mixing with 80% of other twisted facts and figures to incite the listeners....

if you read thai.... many posters said.... they wanted tuksin back....

worst of all.... they want to reorganize thailand into something like republic.... where tuksin will be above all....

which ultimately it means.... there will be no more the most revered king, queen and royal family....

this is one major reason.... why there are so many laymen groups popping up like mushrooms... as we can all see on the tele.... to lend support to the most revered royal monarchy and to demand that the govt excercise its constitutionally given rights....

to decisively and expeditiously arrest and put on trial.... the apparent twenty-some traitors together with their supporting terrorists group....

however, will the gentleman pm apisit and sootab act decisively, authoritatively and timely.... remains a big question mark to date?
