  1. The US military absolute despises Trump for a dozen valid reasons, he's never shown them any respect, he's criticized many high ranking members of the military, he's disrespected his military advisors, he dodged the draft five times, and he's never shown himself to be a patriot on any level. Sorry big Don but your plan would fail, if elected. Thankfully that won't be a concern. Banishment is closer to the mark.
  2. For a mariner with a significant yacht, Thailand would have to be one of the most boring areas in the world for yachting. The entire seaboard possesses very few marinas, there are very few areas of interest along the Gulf Coast, and on the east coast between Singapore and Bangkok there's really not much to see. Nah. The yacht community has very little interest. Bad idea.
  3. A very significant, very loud, and very critical discourse of the military is required at this point in Thailand. They are a spectacularly corrosive institution, they have insinuated themselves into so many different aspects of Thai society, they are no doubt very corrupt, they are nearly useless, and they suck huge amounts of treasury from the Thai nation. Yet no criticism, and no discourse is allowed, and as usual Thailand demonstrates that it is not a democracy.
  4. He is very afraid of her. He does not do well with smart women. She ripped him to shreds in the dabate, and reduced him to ranting about "they're eating the dogs, they're eating the cats, they're stealing the pets". The hard working legal Haitian immigrants are the boogey man! He made such a fool out of himself the first time around. He is not smart. But, he is not dumb enough to do it again!
  5. Frankly I don't know why this would be considered newsworthy, this happens all over the world, every minute of every day. This guy was stealing a very low value item, how on earth could that possibly be newsworthy?
  6. The Republican Party refuses to do anything meaningful to address gun control, and neither will Trump. Therefore some of this blood is on their hands, and they have to take some responsibility for the continuation of mass shootings in America.
  7. Sounds like a lot of sour grapes on the part of Republicans who just cannot handle the fact that their guy was demolished in the debate, and has been diminished and unhinged ever since. And since when is Joe Rogan a credible source, and who cares what he says or what he thinks?
  8. He may not be stark raving mad, whatever that means, but he is quite insane, and unhinged, and he is a narcissistic psychopath, in addition to being a multiple felon.
  9. Glad to see many called out by name here. The big joke was finally nailed for decades of corruption, and yet he wants his stuff back. Please please, I didn't do it, give me my stuff back. Hope they finally lock him up.
  10. I can only imagine the horror that his family felt watching this incident unfold, you can lay the blame wherever you want, you can say he wasn't following protocols or rules, but he's probably done this hundreds if not thousands of times before, and there's never been an incident before this one. My heart goes out to the family.
  11. If I was a woman, and he was my leader, and I was living in that God forsaken country, why would I want to have children? This is not a great time to be bringing children into the world, and people are wising up. I don't think they're going to be able to reverse that trend. And it's a good thing overall, though some pain will be felt, no doubt. World population needs to drop. While it might appear to be an empty lifestyle to some, it is bordering on paradise to many millions of us. Though I like kids, I've never had the desire to own any. One hour with one is plenty. It's a personal choice, we all have to make these kind of decisions. 98% choose to go the conventional route and have children. For me children were never an option. And I'm infinitely thankful for that. The best thing that's happening to the world right now is countries like China and Japan (and Russia?) are just saying no to children. I do not think children are that special, they're not really needed, they are way over rated, and thankfully it's a choice these days and not compulsory. A lot of people are saying no, I don't need the headaches, I don't need the nonsense, I don't need the expense, I don't need the responsibility, and the planet does not need one more kid. Nah, I choose to have a great life, I don't need kids. I did that and it was the wisest and smartest decision of this lifetime. I don't miss not having kids for a nanosecond. If you look at the curves birth rates are falling all over the world, except in Africa, the forlorn continent. Falling in China, Thailand, Japan, etc. Some are predicting China's population to fall to 650 million within 50 years, the crisis is that bad. I don't call it a crisis. I think it's a huge blessing.
  12. Yet Trump and the GOP continue to push back on requirements for deeper background checks and more restrictions on high-powered weapons that have no value when it comes to hunting and are not required for protecting the home. So what are they used for? Does the GOP and does Trump support mass shootings?
  13. It makes you wonder what he was thinking, or if he was thinking at all. They have scanners these days, they have dogs with incredibly sensitive wiffers, I don't know how he thought he could get away with it. It just doesn't seem like he thought this thing through too much. I wonder what the penalty is in the UK for smuggling that kind of quantity?
  14. No. But, it does not deaden the taste buds as much as the lousy Thai beer. Thai beer is only rivaled by Serbian beer, and the mass produced American beers, in terms of the very low quality. Poor grade of hops, barely, and the production process seems to be entirely lacking in pride. Typical of the big monopolies. Even a large production beer, like Beer Laos blows away any Thai beer, hands down. Thailand desperately needs a vital craft beer movement, and the youth are ready to mount it. If only the dinosaurs would stop protecting their "bankers" and move out of the way. In other words, allow some progress, you mindless simpletons!
  15. This a is akin to Al Capone defending his legitimate businesses. What ethics?
  16. Get some recipes from the pet eating immigrants!
  17. Most of these girls are experts with their phones so just get to Pattaya, and have her set up your map for you. She must be pretty special for you to be chauffering her, rather than giving her the 150 baht for the bus.
  18. The whole environment has gotten so polarized that people don't even make that distinction anymore. As a Centrist Democrat I'm being labeled a Marxist and a communist, anti-American, anti-israel, anti-Semitic, and all kinds of other bizarre tropes, related to being a Democrat. So if you're a centrist Republican or a Centrist Democrat you just simply have to ignore the nonsense and get on with life. There are an extraordinary number of fools out there these days, and many of them don't put very much thought into the things that they post online.
  19. He represents Trump, nothing more could be expected of him, other than diplomacy, which he doesn't really have. So, admitting that to the media though it was a surprise, was not beyond belief. It simply confirmed what we already knew. They make this stuff up daily. They're eating the dogs They're eating the cats They're taking your pets.
  20. Yes. Millions of people are allowing their preferences to be dictated to them by a very old man, who is insane, who is in decline, who has become hateful and ever more vindictive than before, and has completely lost the plot. He has an incredibly delicate and fragile ego (likely due to very low self esteem) and if you like him and compliment him, he likes you back. If you dislike him, don't support him, and insult him he goes after you like you are enemy number one. He's a very simple-minded man. And they're buying his nonsense hook, line and sinker, and following his preferences like devotees of some sort of cult master.
  21. Whatever existed to the great Russian culture was destroyed over a century of callous and murderous leadership. Stalin, Lenin, Khruschev, now Putin. They have become somewhat savage and crude. No grace, no finesse, no courtesy. Rather uncivilized. My family was from Russia a few generations back. I used to ask my great-grandmother when she was still around, why they didn't teach us anything about the old country. She would give me this look, and tell me "the reason we never taught you about the place we came from, is because the place we came from was the most horrific country on earth, it was the most destitute, horrible, oppressive place and we were thrilled to finally get out of there and leave it behind. That's why we don't teach you about the old country, the old country doesn't exist for us. And Russia does not exist for me. They are a boil on the face of humanity.
  22. There is no question that Russian history, culture and art is incredibly deep and incredibly rich, this is the land that has produced the Bolshoi and the Kirov, Nobokov, Stravinsky, Malevich, Popova, Kandinski, etc. But most of that is ancient history, these days they're producing munitions, they're creating warfare, they are sponsoring corruption, they're creating oligarchs out of thin air from state enterprises, they have a leader who's one of the richest men in the world from extortion and pure corruption, who also happens to be a serial killer, and they just do not seem to be contributing much in the way of positivity to the planet as a whole. If I'm wrong, if you are aware of some wonderful things that the Russian nation is doing for the planet, please let me know. I would love to hear about that.
  23. The election commission along with the anti-corruption commission have long been two of the least effective bodies working within Thailand. They are both corrupt and they both simply do the bidding of the powerful people controlling events. If this thing is dissolved and if these senators are reelected nothing much is going to change. This also brings into question the legitimacy of the Supreme Court are they even a legitimate body?
  24. According to my niece who is a political science professor at the University in the US, she is doing a lot of interviews, but she's doing them with small local stations instead of national networks. The advantage being that she's reaching large groups of voters in the swing states. The national news does not seem to be picking any of this up, and as far as she's concerned it's completely irrelevant. It could be a very smart strategy.
  25. He showed us all at the debate the extent to which he has lost the plot. Now? He is in at ranting, and none of it is planned anymore. He just spews. There were certainly some classic moments, but nobody knew that populations of dogs were being stir fried with bok choy, and cats were being served breaded, with corn bread, and being devoured in the Midwest by hungry and unruly immigrant populations. I was also unaware of the fact that Putin invaded Ukraine because the US withdrew from Afghanistan and left a lot of equipment behind, that came as a surprise to me. I also thought it was $7 billion worth of equipment, but Trump insisted it was $85 billion. I also found the claim that Russia will exit Ukraine either right after Trump is elected or possibly even before he even takes office, rather impressive. I was also very surprised to learn that if Harris gets elected Israel will cease to exist as a state within 24 months. I was also amazed to learn that both Harris and her father are practicing Marxists. I was also shocked to hear Trump's claim of Biden creating the highest unemployment since the Great Depression, however I looked it up and it was actually Trump that had 14.8%. Granted, some of that was due to Covid. I did not know that they had a baby execution system in place in Virginia, however I looked into it and found out it was a statement that the former Governor, who is a doctor, had made about a nonviable fetus which is born, and then rather than put it on a useless life support system, the parent decides to let it go. I guess I understand the confusion as Trump himself doesn't really know where he stands on abortion, and since not putting a baby on life support which is not going to live anyway would not be considered an abortion that even adds to his confusion. I had no idea that Harris wants to support transgender operations on illegal aliens that are in prison that was absolutely shocking news that an ever reliable and honest Trump delivered. It was very refreshing to hear that Trump still has the biggest rallies in the history of politics and that nobody ever leaves his rallies early out of boredom. I had no idea that the companies that Trump imposed tariffs on, while he was president, paid the actual tariff on products that were imported into the US. That came as a complete surprise to me, I thought it was the American consumers that were paying a tax hike the whole time. And I also thought it contributed to inflation, and helped to start the current inflationary cycle. It was very surprising and alarming to hear that the immigrants that are coming into the US are coming directly from prisons and mental institutions. I had no idea that all these countries were emptying out their prisons and mental institutions and directing those people to travel to the US. I was shocked to hear that Harris was responsible for the January 6th attack on the capitol and that Nancy Pelosi did a poor job with security, so I had to look into it again, and I found out that the speaker of the house has no capacity when it comes to Capital Security, nor does she have any capacity to turn down a request for National guardsman. His debate performance was an embarrassment, even by the low standards one must apply to his minor, declining intellect.
