Liz Cheney: Conservatives may need a new party
spidermike007 replied to simple1's topic in Political Soapbox
Come election day they will have a chance to reorganize their party, and get rid of the extremist elements within it, once Trump loses for the second time and is completely banished from the world of politics. -
Decades ago when I lived in the San Diego area I had a small motorbike and I was driving into an intersection and making a left turn at about 35 or 40 miles per hour when the car in front of me blew out his oil pan gasket. I saw the entire thing happening and there were five quarts of oil in this big puddle right in front of me that I could not avoid. As I turned I realized that the tires were not going to hold so straddled the saddle and allowed my butt to drop down onto the pavement into the oil which then propelled me like ice through the intersection all the way to the sidewalk on the other side. The entire trip I was leaning on my left glove and my wallet. It was a sight to behold, I felt a bit like an off balance dancer. There were about a dozen people standing there gawking, a few of whom came running over to me when the whole thing was done to see how banged up I was. The only thing that happened was that my wallet wore down through three credit cards and my left glove which I was fortunately wearing wore down to my palm so I had a slight scratch on my palm and that was it, my jeans were torn up, and so was the bike, but that was a very lucky crash.

Trump vs. Taylor Swift: A Battle He’s Bound to Lose
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Sorry to disappoint you but I don't watch that kind of porn. The source was a very dear friend of mine, she had absolutely no agenda, it was something she was very distressed about, and it took her a month to get the truth out of her daughter. So this was truth directly from the source, deny it all you want, it doesn't change anything. -
Trump vs. Taylor Swift: A Battle He’s Bound to Lose
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I sense that you're out of touch, not sure how much time you spend in the US, nor how many people you know with teenage girls, but a dear friend of mine told me about an incident where her 13 year old daughter (who was quite beautifu) was sulking for about a month, and she finally said look we made a deal when you were a little bit younger, that you if anything really strange was ever happened with you, you could come to me and we could discuss it. And that we were always going to be open with each other like that. So, what's up with you? She said okay mom you really want to know, are you sure you want to know? And her mother said yes, she said okay I'm the only girl in my seventh grade class who does not blow her classmates, are you happy now? Her mother said what are you talking about, she said it's so casual right now that I'm being ostracized and I'm a pariah because I won't just casually blow nearly every classmate. And that was 20 years ago, from what I understand now it's escalated to anal instead of oral. So make out of that whatever you will. Would a woman confess to having done 300 classmates over 3 years? Apply whatever puritanical standard you need to apply and then tell me that I'm out of my mind, and that I made this this stuff up. -

Wow that was a very thorough reply it was also very amusing considering that the study that you cited comes from the Wheatley Institute at Brigham Young University, which is a Mormon Institution. Of course the findings are going to be biased and of course the women are going to lie when asked about a question like this. How many women do you think would actually come out and say "I don't know I think I probably banged about 700 guys, I had at least four guys a week between the age of 13 and 20, so what does that add up to? And does anal count? Anyway I find it quite amusing your obsession with so called purity, it's almost a Muslim type of obsession. I prefer experienced women, I find them to be a lot more interesting. Virgins are boring! -
you just gotta love Cats !
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in Plants, Pets & Vets in Thailand
Be very afraid. They're eating the dogs, they're eating the cats. Those damn immigrants! Best parody I have seen on the Trump Ohio lie scandal. Really worth a watch. Hugely entertaining. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C_5cwQZuEgd/?igsh=MWcyeHpweWtpYzByZA== -
I understand moving to another country to find a better life and to provide support for your family, but Russia would have to be the lowest country on the list. What an incredibly dark, depressing and horrific place to live. I hope I never have to visit that forsaken pit of desolation. If I'm wrong, if you are aware of some wonderful things that the Russian nation is doing for the planet, please let me know. I would love to hear about that.

Are cars legally required to stop for a zebra?
spidermike007 replied to berro's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
I think it is a legal requirement, however the toy police franchisees do not stop people for traffic infractions, so it doesn't mean anything. What you say about courtesy is interesting, in that alot of Thais do tend to be a very courteous people, but they seem to lose all sense of courtesy and respect as soon as they're behind the wheel of a car. And I have no idea what that's all about, when I first began to learn how to drive I had the good fortune of being taught by my mother, and the first thing she taught me was courtesy and respect for other drivers. -
Trump vs. Taylor Swift: A Battle He’s Bound to Lose
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
You're dramatically overestimating the integrity or stability of the average American woman. I know women that have been with well over a hundred men, so many are beginning to get busy at 13 now, so I would say any American woman that's been with under 50 men is downright virtuous. The other hand any businessman that's been involved in over 4,000 lawsuits, has lost multiple lawsuits to the state for fraud, is a convicted felon, and has had five huge bankruptcies is not a man that possesses even a shred of honor, nor virtue. Trump is the very embodiment of what you are feebly attempting to accuse her of being. He does appreciate your fealty, though. -
Trump vs. Taylor Swift: A Battle He’s Bound to Lose
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
12 boyfriends sound like less of a transgression than 5 bankruptcies and 17 businesses failures in the past few decades. Some at huge losses. Trump Steaks, Trump Shuttle Airline ($120 million in losses between 1988 and 1990), GoTrump, Trump Vodka, Trump Mortgage, Trump University, Trump Ice, The New Jersey Generals, Tour de Trump, Trump Network, Trump Magazine, Trumped!. Many businesses that licensed his name went bankrupt, or went out of business. And he had between four and six major bankruptcies (depending on the source), including the Trump Taj Mahal (which he spent $1.2 billion building, and was $3 billion in debt within a year of opening), Trump's Castle, Trump Place Hotel (which was very successful prior to Trump buying it in 1988, and he managed to put it into $550 million in debt by 1992!), Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts ($1.8 billion in debt by 2004, bankrupt in 2009) , and Trump Entertainment Resorts. There are likely others. And this does not take into account the 3,600 lawsuits he was involved in as of the time he took office, the vast majority of which were filed by small contractors against his companies for non payment, or total default. Many of these contractors were crushed. It is part of his M.O. Promises made but never kept: Every voter needs to be reminded of Trump's promises last time he was running: There is very little that comes out of Donald's mouth that is the truth..... He promised to cut the deficit. He added $8T. He promised to build a wall. He only did 458 miles out of 2,000. Most of it was repair or replacement, not new. He promised to make Mexico pay. They didn't. We did. He promised to unveil a new healthcare plan. It didn't exist. He promised a middle-class tax cut. He cut taxes for the rich. The middle class is paying for it. He said he wouldn't play golf as President. He made 250 visits (way more than Obama) to his own golf clubs. It cost taxpayers $150 million. He said he'd increase economic growth by 4%. Nope. Biden did. He promised an infrastructure plan. He had none. President Biden signed a massive one. He promised to hire "the best people." He fired 3/4 of them and then said they were the worst ever, and they said HE was in fact the worst ever. He promised to bring down the price of prescription drugs. He didn't: Biden did. He promised a Hillary lock-up. Nope Promised we'd win the trade war with China. Nope, It cost about 250,000 jobs and hurt Americans, not help them. He promised his corporate tax cuts would help and benefit Workers, and corporations would use that money to invest in American workers. They didn't, they used that money to buy back stocks. He promised to revive the coal industry. Never happened: more coal jobs were lost during his presidency. -
Trump vs. Taylor Swift: A Battle He’s Bound to Lose
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Do you even acknowledge the irony in your post, you are a supporter of trump and yet you are complaining that Swift is sleeping around and influencing her followers to do such. Do you see how that looks? -
No. The billions he stole from small contractors, the hundreds of millions he stole from a fake degree program at Trump University, the hundreds of millions in deposits he stole from the Trump Soho project. I could go on all day. Denying the man is a criminal, is about a futile a task as one can take on.

Well I totally agree with that, I'm very bored and sickened by much of contemporary culture, and I don't follow it. But you and I rejecting it means nothing in the grand scheme of things, it influences nothing. Civilization marches on and whether we like it or not celebrities and big stars with huge followings on social media have a huge amount of influence.

Krabi mother scammed twice while trying to bail out son

What did you have for breakfast?
spidermike007 replied to BritManToo's topic in Western Food in Thailand
Deep dish Chicago style pizza with sliced Australian lobster tail, white porcini mushrooms and thinly sliced hot peppers, drizzled with fine olive oil. Sublime. A breakfast of champions and royalty. -
I agree. It may get ugly. No doubt the coward will deny he lost for a second time and will became one of the greatest losers in history. He will become irrelevant and will be shunned by the GOP, finally. That will be hard for him to accept. He will fight. But, he is tired and old, and becoming more feeble. So, we can just banish him, and put him out to pasture. And if all goes well, he will be locked up. A richly deserved reward for a lifetime of crime and fraud.

Trump vs. Taylor Swift: A Battle He’s Bound to Lose
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Delusion is a powerful thing. And to think it is all induced by devotion to a failing, dark force. I feel for you, it must be tough to be a Trump supporter, at this time, witnessing the decline of a once powerful man. -

If a lawyer ever advised me not to make a report because the person has connections, I would be on that report in 10 minutes, and I would do everything I could to make sure that the person who ripped me off, who has the connections led the most miserable life possible from this day forward. I would be on them like white on rice. I would rain on their parade every day of my life, they would rue the day that they were born, and they would pay me back because the misery that I showered upon that was so great, that they were burdened by the idea of getting up each and every morning. That is how you deal with people who rip you off, and believe me I speak from experience. It's happened to me, I've used this technique, and I got my money back. It took a while but when they gave me my money back they specifically told me I'm doing this so I could get my life back. -
Trump vs. Taylor Swift: A Battle He’s Bound to Lose
spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
My guess is that she cares not one iota about what the political sphere is saying about her. At this point she's spoken her truth, she's acting from a place of moral conviction, and she can spare a few fans here and there. With a billion dollar net worth I don't think she's particularly concerned about selling a few less concert tickets. So her 100,000 seat stadium concerts will sell out in 70 minutes and still instead of 68. Trump stands to lose far more with his continued hateful and ignorant tweets, than Swift. Every lost vote at this point costs the man dearly. See ya Big Don! -

spidermike007 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I am sure Trump's team wishes that what you were saying was true, but unfortunately for them it is not. He continues to tweet at will, and he continues to shoot himself in the foot daily. Only a small percentage of the publicity that he gets is positive, and not hateful and vengeful. I think a lot of the voters are tired of all the hatred, venom and bitterness that this incredibly unhappy man's spews at will. He simply cannot control himself. He is a fountain of hatred. -

Police probe teacher recruitment mystery
spidermike007 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Corruption is so pervasive throughout all levels of Thai society, that it is truly the last thing in the world that the government or the police want to investigate. Even the anti-corruption commission has absolutely no interest in investigating corruption, unless it's an ex-official or retired person without connections, or family wealth, that's already been put out to pasture. -

There's no question about the fact that he's already lost this battle, he simply cannot compete with a pop star who has over 200 million followers on her social media accounts. This man is a thug, he's a lowlife, he's a hater and a divider, he's a dishonest loser, and he's a thief and a liar. On the other hand she is a fairly charming pop star. How does he compete with that? Anyone with half a brain would have refrained from saying all the Indian things that he said about her already the first time in the history of America that a president has posted I hate somebody. Well, Bush Sr. said that about Saddam, but he was an enamy, not an American idol. The absolutely blazing level of his stupidity, ignorance and lack of political acumen, is sometimes a stunning thing to witness. If Trump and Vance went home, locked themselves up, and did not say anything, or appear again until the election, they would have a better chance of winning. -
Just another "what can one even say?" type incident. The creep will be found quickly, and hopefully he will face multiple charges and be sent to prison for a very very long time, where it is likely he will face a great deal of warmth from his fellow inmates. It just seems like when the brain matter was being handed out, the guy completely missed the appointment.

Will Harris' Leadership Unite or Divide the Nation?
spidermike007 replied to CharlieH's topic in Political Soapbox
It's a fairly simplistic question in light of the fact that Donald Trump is the most divisive and hate filled candidate, and was the most divisive president in American history, by a long shot. It can be debated whether or not he's fueling the hatred in America, but it cannot be debated that he's giving license to his least civilized supporters, and alot of very low quality Americans. Harris is speaking of unity, and she's speaking of joy, and she's representing the exact polar opposite qualities of the huge grump.- 106 replies
