  1. Yeah. He made alot of his fortune stealing money he owed to small contractors, and fleecing others.
  2. Naive, at best. There were a dozen reasons they left in the first place. And it takes years to make such a move. It is a Trump tax hike. Plain and simple.
  3. Because the current government is in bed with the military, that's why. Anyone who thinks this is a civilian government which represents the people, is naive at best.
  4. Wrong. As a debate performer she did a masterful job of baiting the goon. He then went off, and displayed his insanity and inability to focus.
  5. Personally, I despise PC. And social justice authoritarianism. I think it represents alot of what is wrong with contemporary culture, and especially America today. It is a major form of weakness, when you allow yourself to be easily offended, and take everything personally. Granted, there are things that can be perceived as offensive, but allowing yourself to be offended by tiny little things people say and do is a bit much! But, the people who are offended daily, by things others say, are just weak, and would benefit by growing thicker skin. Life can be rough and caustic at times, and for those of us who have grown thick skin, it is like water off a ducks back. No big deal, at all. Think what you want to think. It just does not mean anything to those with self esteem, and a sense of who and what they are. Granted, these are just my opinions, and some will take offense to them. LOL. The US and the UK are by far the most tolerant countries in the world when it comes to the whole trans, non-binary, amorosexual, decide whatever you want today, if it fits mentality. No other countries are as loose, driftless, and as silly. Hopefully it's a fad and it will pass at some point. The notion that political correctness has “gone mad” is familiar to anyone who follows even vaguely any aspect of modern political or cultural life. The phrase, ostensibly referring to language or action that is designed to avoid offence or harm to protected groups, has become a sharp criticism. It is synonymous with a sort of cultural McCarthyism, usually committed by the left. https://www.economist.com/open-future/2018/09/10/has-political-correctness-gone-too-far A Rasmussen poll found that 71 percent of Americans think political correctness is a problem today. When is being politically correct more about civility and politeness? When when does it veer into censorship? When is it justified? When is it not justified? https://www.jacksonville.com/opinion/2016-09-30/has-political-correctness-gone-too-far
  6. Thank you so much, I know it has been a huge burden for me, to labor with a small brain for all these years, but you work with what you have.
  7. The fact is Thailand could be doing a dozen different things to make itself more attractive to affluent tourists, expats, and il foreign investment. But, all the things it could do, to make itself a better version of it's current self, would require sacrifice and vision. Not something this govt. is capable of. Nor the 9 year army govt. Major tax breaks, drastic lowering of luxury and wine taxes, allowing ownership of land and homes by foreigners, relaxation of inane visa laws, ridding the administration of xenophobic ministers, beginning a program of hiring based on merit, improving traffic safety, paying attention to the air and the environment. The list goes on and on and on. Will any of this happen? One can hope. But, it is unlikely as this administration is one of the least progressive on planet earth. They love projections, prognosticactions, declarations and platitudes. But when it comes to the nuts and bolts, and practical improvements, they are absolutely lost in space.
  8. We will give you a break on your overtime pay, but we will raise your taxes by imposing enormous tariffs on a wide range of imported goods, punishing both you the consumer, and the American companies that manufacture overseas. Sounds fair, sounds like a good trade-off?
  9. There were certainly some classic moments, nobody knew that populations of dogs were being stir fried, and cats were being served breaded, and devoured in the Midwest by hungry and unruly immigrant populations. Stir fried dogs and cats? Israel will no longer exist 24 months after she takes office? I will end the war in Ukraine, possibly even before I take office. Dictators are wonderful. She baited him, and he swallowed hook, line and sinker. What a goon. What a fool. He not only lost the debate, he got bloodied, and knocked out cold, in the first 5 minutes. He was struggling for oxygen. He was flailing. He deserved to lose. Of course he won't accept another debate why would he? If Trump and Vance went home, locked themselves up, and did not say anything, or appear again until the election, they would have a better chance of winning. Otherwise, they shoot themselves in the foot daily, as they are both horrendously poor candidates and campaigners. And Vance really needs to avoid donut shops, and Trump really needs do avoid all contact with the military. They despise him, for many good reasons. Anyone but Trump.
  10. I always thought it was common knowledge that it was not a good idea to approach men for sexual services, when they are with their women. I thought everybody knew that.
  11. Nice work guys, always good to clean up the streets a little bit. And besides, how would any of us have known about the Maldivian East Coast Gang (MECG)? That's some fascinating information.
  12. They do not want to find out how his ear miraculously healed, after being hit by a "bullet". Not even a scratch on that ear. How peculiar.
  13. Yes, of course it depends on the class of fare. How much would that same ticket change cost through a third party, for the same fare class?
  14. I got a vasectomy two years into my relationship with my woman who I have been with for well over a decade. I knew I did not want to have kids, and told her that. She thought she could change my mind. She was young and I am sure she was very fertile. I told her when a I got back from the US, that I had it done. No discussion beforehand. She said wow you were serious about not wanting kids. It has worked out well. I knew I never wanted or needed them. No risk now.
  15. Who are these people, and why do they have so much time on their hands? And why don't they know anything about tourism?
  16. Only a completely new one written without any interference by the most toxic and useless institution in Thailand, the army, would be of any benefit to the people. And since Thaksin has sold his soul, his party and his people to the army, in exchange for a get out of jail free card, this won't happen.
  17. They just don't get it. Wealthy people have many options. Many nations are offering far more favorable terms, as they actually have smart people working on visa policy. Thailand appeals mostly to those of us who have financial limitations. The goons seem to think it is the other way around. Good luck with the 6 applicants.
  18. Reading the entire article helps to inform oneself.
  19. The same thing is happening in the US and in Europe as many people are finding it very hard to cope with the skyrocketing cost of living, and minimal increases in wages. Consumer confidence is incredibly low right now regardless of what the government says. Could be the upcoming election, two wars raging, or? I have a lot of friends that are in retail and everyone says the same thing, most people are not buying things that are not real necessities at the moment.
  20. What they really need to do is work on High-Speed Rail which would include the transport of cargo, and that would take some of the pressure off of the seriously choked highways. This has to be done sooner or later. Let China finance and handle the construction, so it would take 3 years instead of 20 years. And then just default on the loans like most other members of the Belt and Road Initiative are doing. Free transport at that point, and you're helping to bankrupt China, which is a huge bonus.
  21. How do you go about targeting high living costs and low cost imports? It sounds like this guy's a bit of a goon to come right out of the gate saying something so spectacularly inane. If he does something as stupid and naive as Trump is proposing, he raises the cost of imports, and thereby imposes a tax on the Thai consumer in the way of tariffs.
  22. If you're wealthy enough to have that kind of money, wouldn't a man with a reasonable mind take some measures to protect himself, especially in light of the fact that it sounds like a relatively new marriage? What about a prenup, what about some other ways to safeguard your assets? Ken seems like an appropriate name, as this man sounds like he is completely emasculated. I have a very wealthy friend in California who did not even allow his wife as a signatory on his primary bank account. She has her own account, he deposits money in that account every month to take care of household expenses, and that's all she has access to. They got divorced and the pre-nup stated that she would get $1 million, for each year they were married. He just cut her a check for $8 million. He was smart enough to not have kids with her. That seems like a common mistake alot of men make. The women then has them over a barrel, if they want to continue having a relationship with their kids.
  23. It absolutely boggles my mind to think that a man would actually go out of his way to try to find a Russian bride. I could not possibly think of an easier way to become unhappy and unfulfilled. I've known several men that married Russian women and each and every time it ended in disaster. One Tmtime it ended in such a way that the Russian woman threatened to cut the man's heart out of his chest, while he was sleeping.
