I hope they investigate this and I hope serious charges are brought against this fool. No man should ever force a woman into sexual acts, that is a crime which is beyond the pale, and the punishment should be severe. I propose that the punishment be doubled if the man is either a policeman or a member of the clergy, of any faith.

I think the only way to deal with this level of recklessness and disregard for life is to impose a death penalty for traffic incidents that result in negligent homicide. Not only that, but the death penalty should be carried out within 60 days from the time of the accident. Off with the fool! That kind of deterrent would have a tremendous effect.

Thailand-China high-speed rail project faces delays
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Thailand desperately needs high speed transit and alternatives to the ridiculously choked highways. They also need an alternative for the transport of cargo, which they have been ignoring for 70 plus years now. I think taking China up on their offer of financing the entire project would be a great idea. Build multiple lines all over the country, super high tech, super high speed, let China pay for it, and let China build it, if necessary, and then the construction will be quick. None of the incredible nonsense like Rama 2 which is at least 15 years behind schedule. The billions in debt is not an issue, as nearly all countries on the Belt and Road initiative are defaulting on their loans. So it just helps to make China broke, which is a great thing. -
Will pepper spray stop dog attacks
spidermike007 replied to georgegeorgia's topic in Plants, Pets & Vets in Thailand
Pepper spray is effective if you can get it in their eyes, nose, or mouth. What's even more effective it's simple insect spray, they absolutely hate it, but it's a little bit more unwieldy to carry around a can of insect spray! I realize that. Baseball bats work well too. -
I highly recommend it, it's incredibly easy to switch, and the requirements for the retirement visa, other than the additional funds in the bank are very low. It is infinitely easier to renew every year. I was on the marriage visa for a while and I got so sick of trying to prove that I was married every year, and jumping over all the hurdles that they set up that are completely absent with the retirement Visa. I realized that I was really getting sick and tired of certain aspects of living in Thailand, and one of the biggest ones was dealing with immigration. I no longer have that annoyance in my life Go for it you will never regret it.

A coffee shop is a private business and the owner has every right to ask anyone who occupies space within it, much less uses the Wi-Fi, to make a purchase. In many coffee shops in the US now they're asking someone to make a purchase every hour, as people used to come and sit in the coffee shop for half a day. The porn thing is a whole different topic. Kick the creep out. No big deal. See ya!

I'm cheating on my wife and I can't help it.
spidermike007 replied to BarBoy's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
If I was cheating on my wife and I was explaining it to the world, the last thing I would include is the part about getting with ladyboys. Sorry if I sound small-minded but I wouldn't consider that something to be proud of. -
I would not anticipate any problems, usually if she already has the visa it's just going to be a perfunctory inspection, and they will ask a few questions and that'll be it. If they do ask her about where she's staying I would recommend being honest since she cannot show hotel reservations for the entire stay. It is best to just keep it straight and explain what her plans are. She shouldn't have any problems at all and she should put the worries right out of her head.

I hope this will eventually get investigated, it certainly does appear to be a pure and simple bribe, and there's no doubt that Trump has accepted many of those during his career. A man without a moral compass tends to look at money as the end all. And how it is acquired becomes completely irrelevant. That is the very definition of moral bankruptcy.

It is quite astonishing to me how MAGA has descended to a level where some of the less intelligent supporters are simply reduced to slogans, name calling as a juvenile tribute to their political Master, and memes rather than intelligent discussions. All Democrats are communist All Democrats are baby killers All Democrats support trans rights. All democrats are woke Do you know where we get our power from? We drink the blood of infants in basements of pizza parlors. That is where the power will come from, to lock up the mobster for many, many years!

As time goes on, Russia and Putin appear to be increasing more desperate. They do not seem to enjoy being the world's greatest pariah. They are, and deservedly so. Having a despot dictator for a leader comes at a high cost. There is no question that Russian history, culture and art is incredibly deep and incredibly rich, this is the land that has produced the Bolshoi and the Kirov, Nobokov, Stravinsky, Malevich, Popova, Kandinsky, etc. But most of that is ancient history, these days they're producing munitions, they're creating warfare, they are sponsoring corruption, they're creating oligarchs out of thin air from state enterprises, they have a leader who's one of the richest men in the world from extortion and pure corruption, who also happens to be a serial killer, and they just do not seem to be contributing much in the way of positivity to the planet as a whole. If I'm wrong, if you are aware of some wonderful things that the Russian nation is doing for the planet, please let me know. I would love to hear about that. There is no doubt that Russia, China, and Iran are devoting huge resources to international hacking, crime syndicates, bad entities, and a variety of different methods to influence politics and elections.

Right now the biggest threat to the nation and the world is a man who is on the decline, is the oldest to ever run for the office, and has some very bizarre ideas about governance, never listens to his advisors, never read the security briefings on a daily basis as president, and always thinks that he knows best. In my opinion he started to fade in the last year of his presidency. He may have had a minor stroke. Since then, it has been a steady downhill path. Far less coherent than in the past, very hard for him to continue a sentence for more than 15 seconds, alot of rambling, complaining, playing the victim card, and juvenile name calling as usual. Even most of the CEO's he met with a month ago were shocked at how lacking his message was. He is in the beginning stages of severe cognitive decline and it's a horrific thing to watch, he's an increasingly dangerous man and having him as the oldest elected president in history would not be a good thing. He rambles on and on, and it is easy to discern that he has a very hard time maintaining a thought for more than 15 seconds. He is, and has always been the master of slogans, and memes, but the public is just getting tired of the same game, day in and day out. He does not possess the creative juice to adapt, and that is absolutely killing his campaign, at this point. He is headed for the greatest humiliation of his lifetime. He's old, he's tired, he's now the oldest person to ever run for president, he's feels like he's 85 or 90 right now, he seems to be losing interest, he seems to be losing the plot, his message is getting tired, he has no ability to dance on his feet and be creative, and adapt, and he just seems to be disintegrating before our eyes, which is a beautiful thing to watch. And now, he seems to regret his choice of Vance, and seems very stressed out over Harris. Can't blame him for that. He does seem to be imploding. Hoping he loses big, and they lock him up.

Most educated drivers with a skill set, when faced with a obstacle of any sort tend to slow down and try to determine a solution to the issue. Why anyone would speed up on a slippery surface is anyone's guess. It sounds like this goon is intellectually challenged, and possesses very poor driving skills.

What's going on with Dave Bautista?
spidermike007 replied to FriscoKid's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Who cares? Really. He's at a point in his life where he's comfortable financially, he probably gets work whenever he wants it, as he's a pretty interesting character, and he just wants to dress up a little and have some fun. Who cares? Who would be offended by something like this? Who would care if the guy dresses up and wears weird glasses? Why such thin skin? Why such sensitivity? Why such judgment? He is a celebrity. Many dress in an eccentric manner. Perhaps you need a question yourself, and ask why you are offended by the way the man is presenting himself? -
Thai doctor vows to create "Hitler Room" to gas hospital smokers
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I think this is a great idea, and it's very clever thinking on his part. I love the idea of recirculating the smoke so that smokers can enjoy their own secondhand smoke. That is a beautiful thing. I really dislike tobacco, and I find secondhand smoke to be absolutely putrid, and nobody should be subjected to it. The only unfortunate thing about this whole thing is the name that he gave it, other than that it's a great idea. -
Temu vs. Lazada for Online Shopping Bliss?
spidermike007 replied to Jingthing's topic in General Topics
I don't know if it makes a difference, I do tend to like Lazada, I find their customer service to be pretty good, and the delivery times to be pretty reliable. I used to think that they were a Thai company but I recently found out they are a Chinese owned company, same as Temu. As much as I do not like supporting Chinese owned companies it's very difficult to avoid them these days, completely. -
I think when you are frequently ridiculed that is a sign that you're on the right track, when the masses do not understand you, that means that you have some clarity and that you're perceiving some truth. I've always been the black sheep of my family who often label me a conspiracy theorist, when I am far from it. I just have an open mind and I like to think things through and I very rarely accept the narrative that I'm given, especially when I'm giving that narrative by a government entity.

I completely agree, my cousin is an immigration attorney in Miami, and he tells me that top MIT graduates who finish their programs in nuclear physics, can't get a visa to work for an American company within the US. So they either need to go work for that American company overseas, or they need to work for another company overseas. Either way it's a huge brain drain away from the US. He also tells me that the quota system is 70 years old and is in drastic need of updating, especially for the higher qualified people with great expertise. The less educated amongst us and the ones who gorge on podcasts and engage in memes, do not want to look into this and do not want to educate themselves on what is a very serious issue in regard to immigration.

RT is a bit more extreme. CNN is occasionally critical of the WhiteHouse and Biden. RT is never, ever critical of the Kremlin and Putin. No doubt Russia spends a fortune on Kompromat, hacking, disinformation, and other foul enterprises, including government sponsored trans national crime. That govt. is beyond filthy. So is Putin. One thing we all just kind of assumed about Putin, was that he was smart. In addition to being fabulously corrupt, and a serial killing thug. Now we know. He is NOT smart. Not even close. Putin is dumb and dumber. If he were playing chess, a talented 5 year old would kick his butt. May he go down in flames.

Best Way To Maintain A Healthy Sex Life As You Age?
spidermike007 replied to SoCal1990's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
There are all types of relationships. Many are outstanding, and offer alot of fulfillment, but after a decade or more, the sex is just not a big deal anymore. Some of us are bent, and the familiarity is just not a turn on. So, an occasional short time with a young beauty is a nice fix.
