  1. It was likely his condition combined with massive amounts of sugar. Well we never considered that. Send him to a distant, island penal colony. Let him make license plates with all that energy. See ya!
  2. Probably part of the "come to Pattaya and see the sex freaks" tour.
  3. The word sustainable and the phrase Thai development are about as far apart as anything could be. It is a totally oxymoronic concept. Wishful thinking, though.
  4. Poor, poor babies. One's heart just bleeds for them. I guess nobody ever explained to them that life can be quite complicated when you make the decision to change the gender you were given at birth.
  5. Thankfully with the exception of about 20 fairly ignorant countries in Africa, the world population is starting to decline.
  6. There are a hundred different reasons why the birth rate is lower and why hundreds of millions of people are choosing not to have children. My wife and I went that route and we're absolutely thrilled, it is one of the smartest choices we ever made in this lifetime. The quality of life is declining, the cost of living is skyrocketing, and a lot of people are just choosing not to bring children into this world, at this point in time. Lower birth rates are a huge blessing for the planet and it's wonderful that we actually have the opportunity to make that choice in this day and age.
  7. This is nothing new, I left Samui over 9 years ago due to massive traffic congestion issues, insane recklessness on the roads, overpricing and a multitude of other issues that are likely to never be addressed. Waste Management is another one, and the list just goes on and on and on. I enjoy visiting once in awhile but I'm sure glad I don't live there anymore. Sometimes the entire Island felt like a dish rag used in the kitchen of a restaurant, that had been rung out 500 too many times, and nobody ever bothered to replace it.
  8. I disagree. I think most voters hate them both. Both parties are morally bankrupt. Both parties are beholden to lobbyists. Both are part of the swamp. Very little difference. Politics in the US is a complete mess and the system is broken.
  9. He would have been Don Mussolini, had he gotten 8 years. One can only imagine the destruction.
  10. They probably advertise this back home in China, come and see the depraved and totally perverted life that they're leading in Pattaya. It's likely a major tourist attraction for the supposedly pure at heart.
  11. The last election was a huge repudiation for the status quo. The people said no, I don't think so, you guys are dinosaurs, we don't want you, we don't like you you need to disappear off the face of the earth. His election is a truly great thing for this nation and shows that the people are both sick of being led by highly ignorant dinosaurs, with no interest in progress, and interested in smart, young folks, who are serious, accomplished, capable of change, and interested in insuring that Thailand has a good future. Pita is exactly what this nation needs, at this point in time. This is a huge blessing. I am optimistic. I think he will stick to his promises. This is a man who interrupted his studies at MIT, during an MBA program at Sloan to rescue his father's rice bran oil business, Agrifood, after this fathers death. He was successful, and is paying down the 100 million baht his father borrowed to start the company. This is a serious man. Very unlike the failures before him. He then went back and finished his MBA, at one of the top business schools on the planet. If it hadn't been the shares it would have been something else, they simply wanted him out of the way, he was too clean, too progressive, too forward leaning, too intelligent, and too capable of moving the nation forward away from the morass of corruption and moral rot, so the shares were just an excuse. From what I understand the company was already suspended and he really had no way of getting rid of the shares. This guy's just too smart to have committed a mistake like that. It was all about the status quo, the army maintaining a hand in the pot, and deeply foul and corrupt men in the background pulling strings.
  12. Horses cannot even get an ID card. This is unfair. They are favoring animals over people. Not right at all.
  13. Wrong. Women abandoned you because you were the worst candidate since Dukakis and Mondale. For an intelligent woman, you were inept beyond belief. Go enjoy your hundreds of millions, and stop crying in my soup, Hillary.
  14. Who is living in a state of delusion? The growth in the annual deficit under Trump ranks as the third-biggest increase, relative to the size of the economy, of any U.S. presidential administration, according to a calculation by a leading Washington budget maven, Eugene Steuerle, co-founder of the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center. And unlike George W. Bush and Abraham Lincoln, who oversaw the larger relative increases in deficits, Trump did not launch two foreign conflicts or have to pay for a civil war. Economists agree that we needed massive deficit spending during the COVID-19 crisis to ward off an economic cataclysm, but federal finances under Trump had become dire even before the pandemic. That happened even though the economy was booming and unemployment was at historically low levels. By the Trump administration’s own description, the pre-pandemic national debt level was already a “crisis” and a “grave threat.” The combination of Trump’s 2017 tax cut and the lack of any serious spending restraint helped both the deficit and the debt soar. https://www.propublica.org/article/national-debt-trump
  15. Exactly. I don't think Biden is a great candidate at his age. And I hate Harris. But, I would take Mylie Cyrus over Trump. I would take a gorilla over Trump. For me, he is the lesser evil, of two very inferior candidates.
  16. Security guards, bouncers and police should be held to a higher standard, and fines and jail times should be doubled. They have a responsibility to behave and not abuse their power. And some of them are very hungry for the power and using it makes them feel like big men.
  17. You forgot so quickly. Trump spent like a drunken sailor and ballooned the deficit. He can't handle money or finance, nor can he negotiate.
  18. So, hyperbole does not exist? False labels are also a mirage in this world of truth? Yours, is likely the most nonsensical reply of the day. You won the trophy!
  19. I totally agree with what you had to say, people forget that Israel has the largest single lobby in the United States. It is working! The amount of stuff that they pump out, the antagonism and the hatred toward any criticism leveled in their direction is incredible. It's astonishing that they actually consider themselves a democracy when they're subject to so much control of the press manipulation, suppression, and coloring of the facts. Anyone who criticizes Israel is a Jew hater. Anyone who criticizes policy is anti-Semitic. Anyone who expresses any sympathy for the Palestinian people supports terrorism. The level of insanity in regard to anything Israel, the memes, the slogans, and the extremism. The Israeli PR machine is nonstop. Sorry, not an Israel sheep.
  20. A very tiny man, who's emotional development stopped at the age of 13. He looks like a man, he smells like a man, but he's actually an adolescent with no self-esteem, and no ability to just simply ignore someone calling him a name. What a goon. Lock him up.
  21. This represents total insanity, most people want stricter background checks, most normal, sane gun owners have no issue with this as they have nothing to hide. There's nothing but upside when it comes to stronger background checks, and resisting it is simply bad politics.
  22. Total BS. Amazing how any criticism of Israel these days is either anti semetic or support of Hamas. Such over simplified lies. Israel sponsored tropes
  23. That conversion might represent a backwards movement of the soul. The father likely has never experienced one inner moment in his life. Pure ritual and rule, rules, rules. He is a smart kid.
  24. Pot should be legal worldwide. It harms nobody, unless you count poor memory and lack of ambition as great offenses against the nation. Totally regressive politics. And what strikes me as amusing, is how those who are the most judgmental about ganga, tend to be heavy consumers of alcohol. And no mention of the incredibly toxic effects of heavy drinking from the judgment brigade. I consider alcohol to be infinitely more toxic to the body and mind. Not to mention society. Yet, it is legal. Like many things, moderate use can be enjoyable and relaxing for many. And from a medicinal point of view, it is astonishing. My mother smoked. She had severe degenerative osteoarthritis of the spine. She was in alot of chronic pain. It helped her alot. And my guess is it was far better for her health and mind, than pain killers.
