  1. Send them home to King Vlad, with a letter of recommendation. They will fit right in, in his land of crime. He might even put them to work.
  2. Anytime a nation says no to the military industrial complex of the US, it is a good thing. As long as they are not supporting criminal regimes like China or Russia.
  3. She is the very definition of an empty suit. She is not a serious person. Saying she is going to do something about the air quality here would be akin to saying Trump will start paying some respect to the environment or focus on protecting the national lands. It won't happen.
  4. He was a real piece of work. Thrilled he is gone and no longer raining verbal terror down upon this community. A quote comes to mind with regard to people of his kind. In shallow men the fish of little thoughts cause much commotion. In oceanic minds the whales of inspiration make hardly a ruffle.
  5. The future isn't just something that happens. It's a brutal force with a great sense of humor that will steamroll you, if you're not watching. What are you most afraid of? That because the last thing in the world I want to do is tweet or update my Facebook status, the soul of youth will vomit me into the cesspool of the old and the worthless.
  6. Older people are perceived as cynics and misanthropes. But, they are simply people who have at last heard the shrill, sad music of humanity, played by a mediocre rock band howling for fame.
  7. It is a very believable story there are an awful lot of rich Thais here who are rather nasty and vindictive, and morally bankrupt. Their God is cash. There's no question that a guy in the right position could get the police to orchestrate something like this and the judiciary would be entirely cooperative for the right fee. It really just sounded like she out of her element, and had no understanding of how Thai society, the incredibly crooked cops and the bought and paid for judicial system here works.
  8. I don't know if anything's ever going to materialize, even with China he's already bowed down to Xi, using his mouthpiece Rubio and not only are they surrendering Taiwan but Trump is already talking about surrendering his position on tariffs. He's pretty easy to convince and out negotiate. Two or three compliments is all it takes generally. Trump could not negotiate his way out of a paper bag if his life depended on it.
  9. If you stopped listening to your podcasts for even one day, the rational part of your mind might kick in and you would start to realize that there are tens of millions of Democrats who are Centrist, and do not align themselves with the progressives, nor the extremist part of the Democratic Party. Simple minds like to use slogans like Marxist, and communist, and unpatriotic and traitors, and similar types of ridiculous nonsensical diatribes. The fact that we don't kiss the new king's butt seems to annoy a lot of people.
  10. Bowing down to the new king. Zuck is within the new breed of sycophants. Pretty pathetic.
  11. As a Democrat I'm not really so sure, it depends a lot on how Trump performs, it depends a lot on his policies and how destructive his policies are, and whether or not the Dems are able to reorganize and rebuild, and get their act together. Right now they are a very, very broken party without anything in the way of leadership or a solid direction. And if they'd decide to stick with figures like Newsom and Harris, they will fail. They need new blood. Centrists like Beshears.
  12. Well there's no doubt that Thailand invited them in to begin with with their incredibly lenient visa policies and their lack of screening. So the Triads and the Russian Bratva are freely operating within Thailand's borders at this time. It's probably pissing off a lot of local bigwigs, politicians, police and mafia figures because they are likely stronger and smarter than the local mafia guys, and if there is a real crackdown happening it's likely due to that. The question is will there be any convictions?
  13. In an effort to obfuscate the lack of real and effective effort that she and her hapless Administration are making, she wants to pass the blame on to neighboring countries. There is no doubt that there's a lot of burning happening in neighboring countries and that and this is an issue. However get your own house in order young woman! You have shown yourself to be ineffective to a fairly astonishing extent so far.
  14. To think this is coming from a man who claims that he cherishes democracy and constitutional law. First Greenland, then the Panama Canal, now the UK. What will his next ambition be King Trump taking over the world? Trump has already shown his fealty to Xi, by encouraging Rubio to give up on Taiwan. It is likely this clown will soon be dropping the idea of tariffs, in a further show of obedience to Master Xi.
  15. This man is not only semi insane and semi senile, he's wholly delusional. He truly thinks that he's king of the world, and he truly thinks that the world will bow down to his every whim. There are probably a dozen strong and valid reasons why these people would not want Greenland to be part of the US, starting with healthcare and including having a bonkers leader. Who would want that?
  16. And what is equally astonishing is that the International community cooperated, and is complicit, and continues to refer to Thailand as a democracy, which is such an astonishing farce and travesty of justice. And the Thai people just idly sit by and tolerate the nonsense.
  17. There are a lot of very bizarre science deniers out there who love to cry fake. What can one say? All you can do is shake your head and say I'm sorry your brain was wired like that.
  18. It not only is symptomatic of an astonishing degree of sloth and indifference, but it is also very telling in regard to a complete misunderstanding of the severity of the problem and effective ways to address. It exactly what I would expect from our current ivory tower brand of leadership. Pita would have been so much better for the nation, the Thai people and the potential for a better future.
  19. Nowhere else in the world have I seen people consistency take the kinds of chances and risks in the road, that they take here, with their families in the car. Nowhere. When they could have waited four seconds to make the uturn or turn onto the highway, and have a completely clear path, they instead choose to take a tremendous risk. It is beyond comprehension. I see it all the time. My eyes do not lie to me. This rarely ever happens to me in the US. If I decide to cut you off on a highway, when you are going 120kph, and I am making a u-turn, and there was plenty of room behind you for me to make a safe turn, is that an error, if it results in a horrific, fatal accident, and I take the lives of you and your family? What if I waited four seconds for the highway lane to be completely clear, rather than just barge into it now, and risk everything? Sometimes an error is wearing white after Labor day in New York City. And sometimes an error is invading Russia before the oncoming winter. I don't make the kind of errors that result in bad accidents, much less fatalities. Why? Because I am very, very careful on the road, and very, very respectful of other drivers, their lives, and those of their families. That is a choice that results in NOT making very many terrible mistakes. It most certainly has something to do with the inability to visualize. Neither the future, nor the hypothetical. What will happen in this scenario? What about this? What about that? What are the inherent risks involved in piloting my bike, car or truck onto the safety lane of a major highway, in the wrong direction, with big trucks coming at me at 100kph? Or onto a lane of a major highway, with oncoming traffic going 120kph? Is it worth sacrificing my life, or my ability to walk for the rest of my life? How will my death affect my kids? Hold on, what about the lives of my wife, kids and sister who are in the vehicle with me, and I am responsible for their safety. Wow. That would be a big loss. An entire family. Maybe I should act like an adult, and be prudent and careful. I don't think many Thais ever ponder thoughts like this. Why, I can't imagine. It is likely something we will never understand about their nature. I often like to say the best way to understand these differences in attitude and intellect, is to realize Thailand is NOT a foreign country. It is a distant planet.
  20. Good work. Nice result. Lock him up or snuff out his sorry life.
  21. $2000 for a toilet seat is fraud, whether it is approved or not.
  22. Very true. And I don't expect the new goon, nor Musk, nor Trump to even make a concerted effort to uncover overspending or fraud. One needs to keep in mind that when it comes to the new defense secretary and Trump himself their level of moral bankruptcy is legendary. They will both bow down to the military industrial complex and their foul, lobbyist pigs.
  23. You are you. We all expected party line homophobia and intolerance from you. No surprises. You never surprise, with your utter predictability.
  24. Vance worked in an air conditioned office in Iraq for 6 months. Not exactly a heroic action. He is a clown.
  25. Can you kindly explain the connection between waste and recycling, and foul air quality?
