This is going to be my last day on Asean Now.
marin replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Well we shall see, or time will tell. March 28th 2024 you wrote this. I am now at the departure gate having just gone through customs, My flight leaves in an hour. It's been a pleasure being a part of your forum. As I will no longer be in country I am kindly requesting to any mod that may read this to permanently remove/delete my account. Sadly, my camera on my phone isn't working at the moment so I am unable to take a picture of the departure gate as previously promised. again, sorry about that! here's to my next adventure! I am officially outta here! goodbye, god bless and take care! But 3 days later on April Fools day the 1st you wrote this. I arrived back in the land of smiles early this morning. mrs. smith couldn't stand being alone, she basically cried herself to sleep all weekend. On sunday she begged me to come back to her. I asked why doesn't she follow me to where I am, she said no no she want's me back in Thailand with her happy happy. I asked what's in it for me? she said whatever I want. so I agreed. I booked my flight sunday night and arrived a few hours ago. I have, in effect, had a very expensive dirty little weekend away. mrs. smith knows all about it. she accepts me for who i am and says i can do whatever i like going forward, i can have as many mia nois as i want, thai style just so long as I am with her every night for dinner. new contracts have been drawn up, new terms have been agreed. i'm staying here for now! i'm sure Ralf001 will be over the moon. bob. regards, Robert Martin Smith. -
Hey Chefs: What Thai Beef Cuts Are Best For Carnie Asada?
marin replied to KhonKaenLive's topic in International Food
Typically "carne asada" is made from flank steak. I would advise buying higher quality beef than typical Thai. Something like this would be fine. https://vivingrocery.com/product/grocery/premium-thai-beef-charolais-products/traditional-thai-flank-steak/ -
For a week no. You would not swim at the beach. There is a road under construction that separates Jomtien from the beach. Why not go to Koh Samet, just over an hour away for say 4 or 5 nights, then come back to Jomtien for a few good meals and the such for a night or two.

marin replied to riclag's topic in Political Soapbox
That is a good intro to Hawaii and its politics. Last 16 years solidly in the Blue or Democrat camp. Thanks for that, good way to start the day on a positive note.- 1 reply

Are you 6 years old ment ally? Going by your recent political posts it would seem that might be stretching it. By the way each and every failure is a fact. Live with it -

More failures than successes. https://time.com/4343030/donald-trump-failures/ Trump Airlines, total failure from the start. Trump Vodka, nobody would drink the swill. Trump Mortgage Trump the Game, nobody bought it, dont worry monopoly His China connection. "Make America Great Again, but make all the gear in China in sweatshops. Trump Casinos, took a lot of people down with h im Trump Steaks, Tougher than the man so loved by the right Trump magazine, again nobody bought it. Go Trump.com his travel agency failed while Agoda and Booking.com are booming Trump university, a total sham He sure has pulled the wool over your eyes. "Repeat a lie long enough and the weak will believe it". -
It has nothing to do with Buddhism it has to do with your budget. We see yours is quite low. I know very few long term residents who continue to live in shoe boxes. They have seen better and move to bigger, but some continue on living small like the guy Big Nok who used to post here.

I Dont take it so far. I have taught in the Thai university system for over 35 years. Very few students pronounce R as L is a fact. But if I am travelling and staying in medium accommodation or eating in roadside restaurants most use the L for R. It does not have to do with a higher degree at all. I have never heard my wife use the L for R sound, yet my housekeeper never uses the R sound and always the L. Have a good one.

Because he is happy taking your money, you have been advised correctly by your Australian doctors. They have the education to see your problem is in your head its not pancreatic problems.
-
They are taught it in school, I dont think it has to do with showing off but how, and how long you were educated.
-
You wrote it correctly in Thai Lorry but pronounce it wrong Mai Pen Rye, it is an R sound Rah Rua, not an L sound Law Ling, very common Thai mistake.

Could be one of the worst posts I have seen on here. You need help, but doubt you will get it. -

Its bad enough when "Thai drivers" pull out from a side road to merge into an ongoing lane. Have had a few near misses with that. But that 15 year old boy killed his grandfather and sister by trying to pull across the road and go in the opposite direction. No knowledge of how to drive or merge or anything. Seems lucky he made it to 15.
