Payment options for the Pattaya City annual property tax
aussiexpat replied to Guderian's topic in Pattaya
I went to City Hall this morning hoping they might discount there again but nope, 1144 baht invoiced and required -
Payment options for the Pattaya City annual property tax
aussiexpat replied to Guderian's topic in Pattaya
Actually it's 6m, but Thailand tax was kind enough to value upstairs at 30k sqm, while downstairs was at the sale price of 60k sqm No idea why they valued it that way, but happy to pay less tax (your 4.45m is what they valued it at) -
Anyone get a Covid extension recently?
aussiexpat replied to dj230's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Yep, only been mentioned about 1000 times that you need to get any normal extensions available prior to getting a last resort covid extension -
Payment options for the Pattaya City annual property tax

Massive discount was already on invoice to drop it to 890 baht. So was very happy and surprised when city hall asked me to pay only 10% of the discounted price -
Entry for unvaccinated
aussiexpat replied to Jackie66's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
No, you have 2 choices as unvaccinated. (1) include PCR negative result within 72 hrs of flight with Thai Pass application and have no quarantine or (2) book and pay for 5 days quarantine and attach to Thai Pass application -
Payment options for the Pattaya City annual property tax

Why would you not pay it at City Hall where there is a huge discount. My last bill was 890 baht and when I paid it they only asked for about 90 baht. It took less than 5 minutes. -
On arrival, English people get a visa exempt entry stamp for 30 days, which can then be extended for another 30 days for 1900 baht

I don't get this thread at all. If your flight ticket is transit through Singapore your departure country is USA and you cannot go into Singapore If you are somehow allowed into Singapore will they check you back in as you've broken your flight rules (transit flight and mult-city flight tickets are different costs)

Tick the first box based on "...or the pandemic situation of covid-19 is still ongoing" -
650 baht Insurance is not 650 baht
aussiexpat replied to Wandr's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Their email response was pretty clear. Get a PCR test within 72 hours or have a waiting period of 14 days after you enter Thailand. As an agent promoting this insurance why are you not accepting what they say when asked by customers? -
650 baht Insurance is not 650 baht
aussiexpat replied to Wandr's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
This is not correct info. I just emailed them with response below. The waiting period is clearly 14 days after entering Thailand I also really don't know what they mean by you need a negative PCR test to make a claim? -
650 baht Insurance is not 650 baht
aussiexpat replied to Wandr's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
This makes no sense as this insurance is only allowed to be purchased by foreigners using it to come to Thailand. Who would test positive outside Thailand and then buy insurance for use in Thailand (you can't enter anyway until medically cleared) Any insurance that has a waiting period is from the effective date of cover. The effective date for this policy is the date of entry to Thailand -
650 baht Insurance is not 650 baht
aussiexpat replied to Wandr's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The effective date for the insurance is from the date you enter Thailand, so you can't just start it 14 days before -
650 baht Insurance is not 650 baht
aussiexpat replied to Wandr's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It covers 700k baht for covid only and is designed purely for the Thai Pass. It is ridiculous though, minimum coverage is 30 days and the first 14 days nothing is covered. It's only good for being a cheap entry fee -
Officials Reveal Thailand Pass Could End by June

I'll just get the Tech to look at it, While cleaning them was easy, this one is not cold so needs an expert (while other 3 same age are great still)

You inspired me to just clean my 4 units myself. I was set to book a clean at 400 baht each, 500 baht if they needed gas. Inside units just vacuumed and wiped down after filters removed and sprayed with a hose, outside units also cleaned with a hose (plenty of bird straw from nests), no problem ???? Now I need one of them to be re-gassed and I'm sure it'll still cost me the 500 baht even though it's now cleaned...let's see ????

Officials Reveal Thailand Pass Could End by June
aussiexpat replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
If they are dropping Thai Pass 1 June why didn't they just drop it 1 May instead. Would save reconfiguring Thai Pass and training airline staff all over the World on changed rules I still can't believe people book flights to Thailand around the 1st of the month. Every month new changes- 73 replies
