I have a flight to Bsngkok 13 Jan. While I can change this booking for free, I can't just change it to arrive in Phuket in order to do sandbox. I would need a brand new ticket with my current one wasted. How can Thailand insist on you pre-Paying for flights, hotel, taxi and PCR Tests, approve you to come, and then say nope, your double vaxed, PCR negative tested <deleted> is no longer welcome....TAT thanks you for your wasted baht though ????

After January 10, anyone who enters Thailand would only be able to do so via the Phuket Sandbox. So how can I enter via Phuket Sandbox when my flight arrives in Bangkok 12 Jan with hotel, taxi and PCR Tests already paid for Bangkok...

I am just devastated. After all the stress to get a Thai Pass after they suddenly cancelled it, and now an ATK result required every 72 hours just to go eat. Do they think this is normal life for a country of 70 million with only 3000 cases per day? The state of Queensland Australia currently has over 3000 cases per day from a population of only 5 million and everything is open and no-one is dying...life is normal

Governor Orders All Restaurant Customers Must Be Tested in Pattaya

Yep, just cancelled my Jan 14 trip -
They are all doomed now They now require you to have a negative ATK result within 72 hours of sitting down for a meal or have a drink... I lasted 2 years without a covid test, stuffed if I'm going to have one every 72 hours just to eat out.. https://thepattayanews.com/2022/01/02/chonburi-governor-releases-late-night-updated-orders-around-covid-19-and-food-and-beverage-establishments/

And now the Governor has mandated a negative ATK result required within 72 hours of having a meal... ...World has gone mad, might as well cancel my trip cause I won't be doing a test every 3 days just to go out to eat https://thepattayanews.com/2022/01/02/chonburi-governor-releases-late-night-updated-orders-around-covid-19-and-food-and-beverage-establishments/

Is the closure of your favorite bar or restaurant imminent?
aussiexpat replied to Leaver's topic in Pattaya
What a load of <deleted>. You started this thread being a doomsayer and hating on Pattaya. Covid happened and places shut whereby you claimed 'I told you so that places would close' Close this thread already, it's beyond ridiculous how much you think you are a bar business genius and yet you've never owned a bar in your life lol
