  1. That is great news. I always arrive on a Friday to allow the full 72 hours allowed to report but it is a pain. I may have done my last TM30 since applying for imm o and retirement extension should use the TM30 I just got ????
  2. I took the 3 bills and she only wanted the most recent bill which she used to enter on the system and print out a payment document. Nothing else required so anyone can pay without need for any ID or condo papers
  3. I'm really confused. I've owned my condo for 12 years and only received a tax bill in last 3 years. This cost me a total of 130 baht by going to city hall. Why is someone else charged 70,000 Baht and they paid it based on legal advice? How is it possible to have such different tax treatment? Note: my bill showed condo tax was 0.02% of their valuation of condo. This then seemed to be discounted by about 85%. They also ignored previous 2 years and just wanted me to pay the current year.
  4. I took your advice and it was so easy. I had bills from 2562/63/64 and all she wanted was the latest one. She printed out a new paper which I then took to another window for payment. This had 890 baht as fee but she only charged me 130 baht after discount. All up took less than 5 minutes. So 3 years of tax, with 3 bills and 6 follow up letters for 130 baht. Hardly seems worth their effort and letter stamps ????
  5. OK I'm done. I've been told not to post in a bar thread even though always on topic, I've been told I'm not allowed to say lol as it's childish, I've been accused of being the cause of the trouble even though I'm not, just reporting what I experience, well you win, I'm deleting this <deleted> forum with holier than thou members
  6. Did you miss that bar staff corrected all 3 of my upped bills? If you're happy to be fleeced by never checking your bill, good on you, Danny at the Beach House welcomes you
  7. No, info correct, Danny was from Walkabout Creek pub, he was real friendly to me early on and he said Walkabout is still open. Totally different person when I advised him 3 wrong bar bills and he threatened me as making stuff up lol. I say again, I was correct and bar manager corrected the false bills, Danny on the other hand was ready to fight me to the death lol
  8. I went to Beach House, looks like a great bar, I was very nicely surprised they have about 30 women for the 10 custoners and they also have a pool bar which reminded me of black pearl ???? Unfortunately, 3 times on my bill I had wrong drinks. First time I had San Miguel light and tiger light added when I only drank Singha, next time I jumped from 5 to 7 Singha lights with one drink, final time I jumped from 8 Singha light to 11 in one bill I went to Danny the owner just to let him know he has bill problems and he was ready to fight me for telling lies. check your bill everytime, waitress were excellent and reversed all 3 incorrect bills, manager is in denial and fight mode
  9. So this is interesting. I came for 4 months initially (have stuff to do back in Aus) so starting with a visa exempt, pay 1900 baht for Imm O, another 1900 baht for retirement extension and then 1900 baht for re-entry permit, so 5700 baht all up I can now do 30 day extension for 1900 baht and then 60 day covid extension for 1900 baht so 3800 baht for same 4 months. Besides saving 1900 baht, I also don't have to transfer 800k baht to Thai bank. Pretty easy choice really as perfectly legal ????
  10. Thanks, love being called a child at 56 years old...am I allowed to smile ????
  11. That was my post, but what you qouted "......there is a 1600 baht TM30 fine if you stay at your condo and don't do it (but if you don't need to go to immigration they don't care if you do TM30 or not lol" followed by You have very selected reading tonight lol Btw, I thought editing people's posts and posting them as real quotes was against the rules ????
  12. Lol, that's exactly what he said. Covid extensions are good as you need 6x 1900 baht a year as opposed to people with 1x 1900 baht for the year on retirememt/marriage
  13. Jomtien. As you don't seem too familiar with the process, here is some guidance. You need a copy of passport ID page, entry stamp page and TM6 departure card, as well as a copy of your condo chanote. Regs say it must be done in 24 hours but they allow 3 days to cover week-ends. Since you're applying for Imm O, there is a 1600 baht TM30 fine if you stay at your condo and don't do it (but if you don't need to go to immigration they don't care if you do TM30 or not lol)
  14. I filled in my Condo address and then thought I stuffed up when it asked for address again. I figured I was meant to include my Ausralia address first so glad you cleared up that I just write the same address twice Btw, I tried to get a new form to correct and officer said "no-one care what you write above, only bottom matters" referring to the official officer entry at bottom of form lol
  15. Good that there's been a few people everytime I've been there. Surprised beers are cheaper though, only 70 baht when I think 80 before covid. Great view for 70 baht, Pattaya water looking very blue and beach looks great????
  16. Just in case you missed it, Morchama app has a notifications icon on bottom right corner. That's were they should have sent you a personalised link to upload your PCR certificate
  17. Any Australia Day parties happening on Wednesday? Are Roo Bar and Walkabout pub still open on 3rd road?
  18. They advertise lunch is 11:30 to 1pm so I came back just after 1pm. I didn't get served until after 3:30 so was getting worried they'd close up and I'd have to come back next day. How late to come depends on your stress tolerence ????
  19. Why is it so busy when there are supposedly minimal tourists here? Is it all the Covid extensions? In 2019 when there were supposedly 40 million visitors my TM30 or extension experience was in and out in 30-45 minutes. My TM30 this time took nearly 3 hours
  20. My bad, living in Cenral Pattaya I'd never heard of anyone talking about villages. I also keep forgetting the massive Darkside exists lol
  21. I tested here on Thursday. Well organized and enough distanced seating for everyone. Took only 50 minutes with test at 08:40 and result timed at 23:21 (received next morning). If Thailand insists on the 2nd PCR, this proves it can work without needed a 5th night locked in quarantine hotel that have currently come up from 1 Feb Meanwhile, fortress Australia now only requires an ATK within 24 hours of flight, no quarantine. Hope Thailand follows soon
  22. I've been away for over 2 years and have about 10 letters in Thai with valuation numbers and fees so I assume this is what it's about. Can't understand any of it. Is there an agent in Pattaya who can sort it out? Never had this bill for 10 years prior to my covid isolation?
  23. There have been many cases reported on this forum about receiving multiple Thai Pass approvals without cancelling the previous ( which is crazy). Personally, I did a hail mary at 10pm on 22 Dec after they announced T&G suspension was at midnight. I uploaded flight booking in hotel spot and vax certificate in insurance spot. I got my approved Thai Pass 48 Hrs later and then booked and paid for hotel and insurance. So I'd keep your current TP to get you on the plane, but apply for a new T&G Thai Pass as soon as system opens. Miracles happen ????
  24. Just because you refuse to acknowledge the TAT news site I've advised you of many times doesn't make your version true lol The Thailand Pass system reopens for new TEST & GO applications From 1 February, 2022, 09.00 Hrs. Thailand time, fully vaccinated travellers from any country around the world can apply for a TEST & GO Thailand Pass up to 60 days in advance. https://www.tatnews.org/2022/01/thailand-resumes-test-go-scheme-reopens-pattaya-and-ko-chang-sandbox-from-1-february-2022/
