@ThaiVisaCentre I looked at AXA when it was $100k and price seems very similar to the $50k. Do they still offer the $100k? Just for info, your duration bar seems super sensitive to me. While the age is very easy to set, I take ages trying to set the period to exactly 30, 60 or 90 days where the AXA price increments are.

There was nothing wrong with the COE application process, it was easy to fill out, the problem was the requirements of the COE (non-refundable pre-paid taxi, hotel, PCR tests, flights and covid insurance before permission to enter). What does TP require, non-refundable pre-paid taxi, hotel, PCR tests, flights and covid insurance before permission to enter...

Thailand Pass Is Up And Running
aussiexpat replied to ubonjoe's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Wow, Richard Barrow says here over 92,000 TP applications and over 50,000 TP's have now been approved (over 16,000 auto approved) https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=444525767033692&id=100044288176713 -
From memory the only mention of sandbox was in the COE instructions and you picked AQ or Sandbox (Phuket or Sumui) during the COE application. Makes sense the Thailand Pass now holds all this info since the COE is no more. Also TP is now centralized in Bangkok so embassies don't deal with it could explain why nothing there...nice simple process lol Edit: it is covered on the TAT website https://www.tatnews.org/2021/10/thailand-reopening-living-in-the-blue-zone-17-sandbox-destinations/

The thread is about Pattaya sandbox, and you said it didn't exist. I only mentioned the others because they were on the same official list as Chon Buri
-
For info, here are 6 SHA+ hotels offering Pattaya Sandbox which includes all tests and taxi from Swampy https://asq.in.th/pattaya-chonburi-sandbox-hotels
-
Pattaya (Chon Buri) sandbox does exist from 1 Nov (there are now 17 sandboxes) This is from the Thailand Pass application when you select sandbox option

So we now have 4 tested positive from 10,667 arrivals in BKK under the "Test & Go" program...that's 0.037% Is it really worth the effort for that % - 0.037% could have HIV - 0.037% could have Herpes - 0.037% could have congenital heart problems - etc, but all likely higher % than above Also why are most positive tests going to Phuket (9 out of 13 when you count the 3 in bkk transit), always knew Pattaya was where the "cleaner falangs go" lol https://www.facebook.com/100044288176713/posts/444012040418398/

So instead of just attaching your pdf document provided by the approved source, you have to now take a dodgy picture of your doc on your phone and send them that... ...not embarrassing to Thailand at all lol -
More than 65 thousand sign up for Thailand Pass

Time to stop the embarrassing rules that are making Thailand look ridiculous to the World. Which HiSo got the contract for Thailand Pass, definitely nothing to do with contract award to the best company Pre-paid Hotel, taxi, pcr test, atk kit and covid insurance are just another scam where Thailand attempt to rip off the farangs -
More than 65 thousand sign up for Thailand Pass

I can't believe I just had to scroll through 44 years of months to provide my birth date. It opened at Nov 2009 and I had to go back to 1965 month by month. I tried all button options, every one just sent me back to Nov 2009 and I had to start again manually. Says it all really -
And yet these people lasted possibly 18 months without catching covid in their home country, before just happening to catch it during the window of "not detectable 72 hours before flight" and their arrival PCR in Thailand. More likely its the fact the infected 10 include all arrivals into Thailand, so 1 day "Test & go", 7 day Sandbox and 7-10 days quarantine for those not fully vaccinated (maybe even the captured border jumpers from Myanmar). So thinking most of the 10 are not the test & go fully vaccinated, jump through ridiculous hoops crowd
-
OMG, shocked to read online that of the first 6 infected on arrival, only 3 were from the "Test & Go" scheme, while the other 3 were from the mandatory quarantine arrival, that is they weren't fully vaccinated (or not from one of the 63 "safe countries) What's the point of combining scheme arrivals that include unvaccinated arrivals ...oh right TAT want to include all arrivals to show a higher number of "visitors", who cares if it compromises reporting of the actual covid numbers for test & go scheme Note: not allowed to post article for above info
-
Summarized from the OP article: The 10 most visiting countries are 1.) the United States 1,593 2.) Germany 1,592 3.) the United Kingdom 1,006 4.) Japan 935 5.) Switzerland 624 6.) Sweden 511 7.) South Korea 499 8.) Netherlands 363 9.) United Arab Emirates 350 10.) China 345 ...... That makes 7,818, so guessing returning Thai's are around 5,000 of the 13,229... So wierd that a country counts their own citizens in number of visitors to their country, however, given the majority of arrivals are Thai, how many of the 10 infected were Thai? Maybe the positive % for "Foreign" visitors is actually 0%. Wouldn't that be great news to remove the arrival PCR and quarantine.

Nearly 2,500 travellers enter Thailand on first day of full reopening
aussiexpat replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
How did they get this so wrong? When I worked in airlines we could tell exactly how many seats were booked weeks in advance. 7000 becomes only 2500, never, whole 7000 press announcement was a scam -

Stop spreading BS. Everyone who gets on a flight must be vaccinated and show a negative PCR test. -

Why is the paper we are not allowed to quote stating 6,631 people arrived 1 November, conviently close to the stated 7000 Now we have a more realistic 2424, with 890 of those being returning Thai -
