https://edition.cnn.com/2025/02/22/india/kerala-india-teen-rape-allegations-dst-intl-hnk/index.html New DelhiCNN — Five years ago, a 13-year-old girl, the daughter of poor wage laborers from one of India’s most marginalized communities, was allegedly sexually abused by one of her neighbors in the village where she lived. Her alleged abuser filmed it and police are investigating whether he used the images to blackmail and manipulate the girl into being raped and sexually abused by dozens of other men and boys over the next five years. Police say the allegations only came to light after the girl, now 18, spoke to a counselor visiting her college in Kerala state and detailed the years of horrific abuse. A total of 58 men and boys have been arrested and accused of the sexual assault, rape and gang rape of the girl. Another two men wanted in connection with the case have fled the country, Kerala Police Deputy Inspector General Ajeetha Begum told CNN.

I'm pretty much a Macallan guy these days. EVA business to North America is serving Johnny Walker Blue Label that will do when necessary. Last time they gave me a big wine glass half full of JWBL. Some was actually left when I woke up in the morning.

Drink better scotch and you don't have to add the water.

They are expensive. They almost refuse to sell generics even if they have stock. Ask for generic, even hy drug name and they always only show the expensive brand name. Ask them to check stock for the generic in the other stores and they will relent and sell you the generic.

Which Android TV box to achieve high speeds?
gargamon replied to YorkshireTyke's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
What speed does your laptop get when it's located where the TV box is? It could be too far from the router there. Not an issue for most here because of the typical studio condo doesn't have a problem. I needed a mesh router to extend the range. -

Future Uncertain for Retiree Bank Accounts in Thailand
gargamon replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
If they do I'll do the same as I did for BKK bank and abandon them. There's always another way anyway. Lately I've been using a US credit card with no foreign transaction fee for most purchases. Then there's the Schwab ATM card also with no foreign transaction fee and they pay the ATM fee. -

K-bank had never charged me a fee to use qr codes. I abandoned BKK bank a couple of years ago when they stopped allowing counter ATM withdrawals. -
Future Uncertain for Retiree Bank Accounts in Thailand
gargamon replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I've got a different take on this. It's the greedy banks who are losing out on all the money they could make if everyone had to use their foreign ATM cards with a 10k limit and a 250 baht penalty each time. They lobby the government to change the rules so people can't open an account and use wise, etc to bring in money where they get nothing. Damn the retirees, we don't care. We want money.- 200 replies

https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5151545-trump-ukraine-zelensky-war-russia/ President Trump on Tuesday appeared to blame Ukraine’s leaders for the three-year war with Russia, arguing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “should have never started it.” Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, after massing troops on the border and demanding a ban on Ukraine ever joining the NATO alliance. The invasion took place nearly a decade after Russia took over Crimea from Ukraine in 2014.

How to reduce the risk of insurance claim denials?

And what Thai insurance company is that? -
Well that didn't take long. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-musk-youth-vote-approval-rating-b2697754.html A new poll shows President Donald Trump’s much-vaunted success with younger voters seems to have stalled, as his approval rating among that demographic continues to fall. Just 39 percent of adults under 30-years-old who responded to the latest Economist/YouGov poll reported a favorable opinion of Trump. That number stood at 50 percent just two weeks ago. Adults in the 30- to 44-years-old bracket who view him favorably also dropped from 45 percent to 42 percent. Overall, 46 percent of respondents approve of Trump’s second presidency, according to this week’s poll, a drop of three percent compared to late last month. Similarly, just 46 percent of respondents view him favorably personally, a drop from last month’s 50 percent.
