  1. Maybe if you spelt equalizer correctly...
  2. The kodi addons do exactly what the google solution is. That's why I use an Android TV box. Much smarter than any smart tv, and portable if you change TVs.
  3. Pretty much all the current videos are mkv's. Older ones are predominantly mp4's. I use kodi to get subtitles and play the video. The two addons that download the subtitles are addic7ed (tv only) and a4ksubtitled(tv and movies). I download videos to my NAS and this works good in that scenario. If you're streaming, I don't know. There should be something in the streaming service that will download them for you. I even wrote a script to delete the embedded subtitles so I could download the one i wanted.
  4. Two new posters with exactly the same view. Hmmm. Smells fishy to me. I used to believe this until I went on the quest described earlier looking for something to help me sleep. There are definitely different characteristics in SOME of the strains that keep you awake and others that don't. There are other traits that also seem to follow like clarity of thought, etc. Granted, most are blends with little differentiations. My testing using one pipe full only, with no associated drinking, and no second or third pipe allowed me to see the whole high cycle. And since I was doing a different strain every day, it was easy to discern the differences. Also, subsequent use of the strains exhibited the same characteristics as the first time. Get some of the blue mystic and another with low keep awake in my spreadsheet above and tell me they're the same. You won't be able to. Oh, and BTW, this is how you do research. Not reading or watching some nonsense on TikTok, X, Facebook or some vendors site that is telling you whatever they think they need to to part you and your money.
  5. Just because I was persuing a strong indica, doesn't mean I don't appreciate sativa. Just not for sleep, which is what I was after.
  6. I didn't think I would need to clarify that, but, the column keepawake tells how much it kept me awake. A 10 would keep me awake(sativa) and a 0 would help sleep(indica). The indica/sativa numbers from the vendor are totally inaccurate, not just this vendor, all of them. No idea where they get them from, maybe the seeds come with numbers they use. As for strength, none of these are brick. The weakest maybe 10%. The blue mystic is at least 20%, but 100% sativa IMO.
  7. I'm pretty sure they didn't switch it up and send something different. I tried to order 50gms of the lemon berry and they said out of stock. If they were going to send something different they would have. Since I filled the first few in the spreadsheet from memory I likely mixed up the two with black in the name.
  8. Yes, I concur. The problem here is that the posted indica/sativa and THC content numbers are nonsense. A while back I was buying a gram of everything from ca08 and evaluating each at 1 pipe per day before bed. When I found a suitable one, I was going to buy a bunch and make kief out of it. Anyway, I had some stuff going on that required a bit of higher level thinking so I stopped smoking. No need to waste my study, so I'll provide what I have gathered here. It's quite nice having a clear head again so I'm not sure when/if I'll start smoking again. These evaluations are highly subjective. YMMV, so don't complain about my opinions.
  9. I don't know what they're called but they are wonderful deep fried.
  10. Of course the x250 is easy to repair as that is a major requirement of being military spec, to be field repairable. But this thread is about some consumer grade Asus laptop I'm sure is not quite so easy.
  11. So you've never had a laptop apart then obviously. There's typically a number of ribbons that need to be disconnected and reconnected to update the ssd or ram.
  12. Windows upgrades routinely need more ram. Every time you need to open the laptop up to upgrade your memory, ssd etc you risk loosening connections that may cause problems later. The x250 still has the original 500 GB m.2 ssd and the original 4GB ram. More than enough for current Linux offerings, so the laptop hasn't been opened.
  13. Yes. Those consumer grade laptops don't last long, do they? I have a military spec Thinkpad X250 from 2014 still going strong. I did get rid of the windows crap and installed Linux though which I'm sure helped with the longevity.
  14. I attempted to import a US vehicle to Canada 30 years ago. The restrictions at the time were so cumbersome I gave up. I do recall there's an age factor where vehicles older than XX years can be brought in with less or no restrictions. You are aware that the steering wheel is on the other side in Canada?
  15. I tried to order some kief from them last year. They sent bud instead without informing me first. Then they didn't understand why I was complaining. Avoid them. And the bud wasn't very good. Bkkkush is the shop I reference. For cheap bud, see the ca08 references above. Buy a gram of each and test it out. For high end, stoner's farm provides some tasty stuff for a reasonable price.
  16. Why consider setting yourself up for future complications? Avoid buying a property you cannot own. Find a nice pool villa and rent. If she's still your companion when you pass, take care of her in your will.
  17. Yes. The social programs. That's how they work. You contribute and collect later. All left wing. You should quit them all now and refuse the healthcare.
  18. So have you turned down your government pension(socialism) or your government health care(socialism) if your country has those or similar?
  19. Don't forget, if you want to hire a live in nurse, you're going to need something larger than the 27 sq meter postage stamp many here live in. Don't forget to factor that cost in too.
  20. And in the west there's a surge in colorectal cancer, especially in younger patients 35+. They're still trying to understand the causes.
  21. It's far cheaper to spend money on wars and military all over the world than it would be to fight WW III. And if the US didn't spend all that money, Taiwan would be overrun by the Chinese, Russia would be rapidly expanding back into the USSR, etc. So yes, it's money well spent.
  22. The question was: “Please remind me how many wars Obama and Trump STARTED respectively.“ Being forced into a war due to external circumstances is hardly starting it.
  23. Third leg not long enough?
  24. The same number as Biden. Zero. Trump would have if he could have figured out how.
