It only took Trump a couple of years to destroy Obama's “longest economic expansion on record“ due to his mishandling of COVID. Looks like it only took Biden and his team a couple of years to get it back on track. With the declining inflation, interest rates, etc., it should look good for Biden by November. -

It can depend on what Thai bank the money is going to. Last time I checked the 3 “fast“ banks were Bangkok, SCB, and Kasikorn. Others can take more time.

I've used wise to transfer funds from banks in both Canada and the US. The US transfer was easy. The Canadian one, not so much. I wouldn't blame wise for that but I would blame the Canadian banking system. They were probably right. Try to avoid the interac method.

That's so funny. Why would anyone fly a third tier airline like air Canada when they can fly Eva? 13 hours is about right for non stop. YVR to Taipei is about 11 hours. Taipei to BKK is about 3.

I smell a business opportunity. One could charge Thais an hourly fee to beat up some dumb falang who will obviously need to sign documents saying there will be no repercussions. Then charge the dumb falang 1000bt per day for a series of opponents. Win, win, except for the dumb falang.

I use anytimemailbox.com. Pick the city/zipcode and they'll have a bunch of providers in that area that you can choose. They sub out the processing to smaller shops that normally are shippers with some private mailboxes. The price is dependent on the provider you use. I'm at about $100/yr.

Load a diagnostic live-usb linux of some flavor and see how it runs there. Might help figure out if it's the SSD or something else to do with windows. If it was me, due to only 8GB of RAM, I'd install linux over the windoze...

For your information, the LUNGS can cope with moderate amounts of MARIJUANA SMOKE. And current medical opinions are that no amount of alcohol is good for your liver. That would be 0 drinks a day, not one or two.

If you time it right, you can get maybe 3 drunks in in a day. Drink, pass out, wake up, repeat... They're out there. You drive by them every morning when they're drinking at 7:00 am.
