  1. See if you can find some tincture. Liquid drops, just put some under your tongue and 30 minutes later...
  2. I get emails or a voice call (from a machine of course) with the code...
  3. Sorry, that's long out of date. No fasting required now in most countries, US and Canada for sure.
  4. Dunno. There was no lineup in regular immigration so I just went there.
  5. I can't believe people are still using SMS's. They're so 1990s.
  6. Diet and exercise can drop your cholesterol by 5%. Taking a statin reduces it up to 50%. When my Dr recommend I change my diet and do more exercise I laughed at him as I was in the gym 3 or 4 times a week and eating well at the time. I insisted he give me a statin. 25 years later hdl, ldl, etc all well withing recommended levels. Also a stress test in 2016 showed 0% blockage on either side of the heart.
  7. Those priority tagged business class bags were from the next flight to use that carousel, not the flight you were on.
  8. My experts don't post on social media.
  9. Please advise what airline did that? Do you use them all the time? EVA would never do that, and if they did I would need to find a new one. BTW, my flight consisted of three segments, and even after that my luggage was still front of the queue in BKK. Did your airline advise you of the fast track immigration for business class?
  10. I'm too lazy to read all this nonsense, so sorry if this has been posted already: https://news.yahoo.com/false-claims-recirculate-harmful-dna-184043727.html Scientists have repeatedly refuted the claim that Covid-19 vaccines can alter a person's genome, but social media posts suggest DNA contamination in the injections could lead to harmful effects such as cancer. This is false; there is no evidence of significant amounts of genetic material in the shots -- and even if there were, experts say they could not alter cells. The claims circulated after University of South Carolina biologist Phillip Buckhaults appeared before a state panel September 13, 2023 to discuss his research on messenger RNA (mRNA) Covid-19 vaccines.
  11. Yes they do. It's called business class. Arrived last week. 5 minutes for immigration and my checked bags were both on the carousel within the first 30 bags. Btw, talking to a lady I know that rents scooters, she says very little rented compared to last year. Funny though it was quite difficult to find a condo. All pretty much full for a 5 month rental.
  12. I feel fortunate to be able to live wherever I want and able to afford whatever health care I need. Canada is a good place to live if you want to be on welfare.
  13. The supplement is essentially welfare. You have to be very poor to receive it. How sad for you that you can collect it. As for the US propaganda, I lived in the US over 10 years. I needed a hernia surgery in Canada a few years back. After waiting about 16 months they finally got around to scheduling it. Two weeks before the scheduled surgery it was cancelled with no new date set. Thankfully I don't qualify for the supplement, so I flew down to Florida and had it done there. I have medicare because I worked in the US 10 years. Talked to the surgeon Friday, flew in Monday, met surgeon Tuesday, and had the operation 3 days later on Friday. Propaganda? I think maybe the Canadian propaganda about the US system is what you are alluding to. Yes, not everyone is covered there, but if you are it's much superior.
  14. I owned a triumph trident in the 70's. Made in England at the time. It was a POS. Lucas electrics with their zener diode. According to Lucas, if god had meant us to drive at night, he would have made it light. Thankfully the Honda 750/4 was just being released so I picked one up. Just get on it and go, not like the triumph that always needed tinkering. I guess that's why triumphs weren't around until somebody decided to make them here. Lots of bikes since then. Suzuki dr650 was a great bike for Cambodia. Ninja 650r was ok in the Philippines, as the price was the same as the US. Anyway, out of all of them the Hondas were the best and required very little maintenance. The 500 scrambler would probably be what I bought if I needed a new bike now.
  15. ending GOP chaos Now that's pretty much impossible.
  16. I forgot to mention... Avoid the Lenovo branded (fakes). I bought a couple of different ones last year and they both crapped out. Worst case one side became much quieter than the other, and it wasn't consistent so I couldn't fix it by adjusting the balance. Thankfully it wasn't very expensive.
  17. I think I grabbed the pic from AliExpress. Search for sports earbuds and you'll see 1000s.
  18. Compared to what it would cost in the west? Haha. You clearly haven't looked at availability and waiting lists trying to get your shared accommodations. Good luck.
  19. No. It will be a villa with a private pool. And the food will be whatever I want. Rule #1: don't retire poor. Good luck waiting for medical care in Canada. You're going to need it.
  20. I see you obviously haven't needed to use the health care system in Canada. Wait until you need to use it. Need a specialist? Get in line and wait months/years to get in to see them. The free long term care consists of them keeping you locked in a room and sedated most of the day. Need the ER? Waits over 10 hours are normal. I considered all that and decided I'd rather live in Thailand where I can get 24/7 one on one support if needed for cheap. And guess what? It never snows in Thailand.
  21. Canada has 2 “pensions“. OAS (old age security} and CPP (Canada pension plan). CPP is like US social security where you pay a portion of your wages and get a pension when you retire. You need 40 quarters (10 years) of employment to get paid. OAS is for people who don't get CPP and is means and income dependant. If you don't live in Canada after retirement, you need 20 years residency to get your OAS overseas. I worked in Canada for exactly 40 quarters, the minimum. I also worked in the US for exactly 40 quarters, the minimum for full social security there. There is an agreement between Canada and the US where you can't collect both pensions. My us pension would be around 3k USD when I start to take it at 70. My Canadian pension would be about 500 CDN. Guess which one I'll be taking.
  22. Block him. And stop replying to the nonsense. You're just making him/her/it think they're special...
  23. I have a number of solid gold crowns, done in San Diego in the 90's. For sure solid gold as one had to be removed as the tooth broke, and I took it to a gold shop and sold it. 18 carat if I remember correctly. You do need to be careful these days as they are now using alloys with very low gold content and calling it gold.
  24. People around you can get annoyed if you have those bone conduction earphones when you play your music loud as they can hear it too. Try something like this. Never falls out. Oh, and this particular one is probably fake as mi doesn't manufacture this afaik.
  25. You can take the girl out of Thailand but you can't take the Thailand out of the girl. If you don't have to live in the EU, then move back to Thailand. If you can't move back, you're going to need to get divorced.
