    Guests arriving on Koh Samui are often stuck because they have no Thai cash. Do 'digital wallets' etc work across borders? Do Europeans know about TrueMoney Wallet? Excuse my ignorance but having lived on the island for 24 years, I only use cash. Little else works unless you want to pay charges.

    I think that you may find that you are in a minority here. Lots of Thais that I speak to still support him. Always have and always will. NB I do not speak to many ultra rich, generals or influencers.

    Conversely, it is an id card for Thailand. Not for the USA, UK or wherever. Ergo - it is a Thai 'id card'.

    I do not understand the heading. From what I see and read, there are very few restrictions on weed and they are ignored by the sellers anyway. There are far more restrictions on alcohol and again, many ignore them (in Thailand).

    In another report that I read (BP?), the festival is near an airport. 😨 Both military and civil pilots reported the rockets shortly after take off.

    Apparently, pregnant women have a 'membrane'. My first wife had to be induced. The baby was overdue. Our usual doctor could not do it - his fingers were too short and could not reach the membrane. He called in a nurse who had longer fingers. She broke the membrane and our daughter eventually popped out. I hasten to add that I have zero medical qualifications - just repeating what I was told happened.

    He's 'avin a larf. No way would Bangkok be able to host an F1 race. I do not have enough time to even start to list the reasons why.
