TM6 and the May 1 Deadline: An In-Depth Analysis for Foreign Visitors
Tropicalevo replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Rubbish. No one checks the details that the traveller puts on the document/app whatever. For years I 'stayed' at the Holiday Inn whenever I was travelling to Thailand. -
Cruise Tourism Poised for Expansion with Koh Samui Terminal
Tropicalevo replied to webfact's topic in Koh Samui News
They have already started exploratory drilling for the bridge. We have noticed that when there is a cruise ship in these days, Grab and Bolt are useless and even our regular group of taxis are difficult to hire if not pre booked. Hopefully, I will be a pile of ashes when both of these are actually finished. It certainly will be 'tricky' living here with those amounts of traffic. Here in Plai Laem, we know when there is a cruise ship in when the small convoy of coaches arrive at the temple. (They take up all of the parking there!) The crazy thing is that there are not enough vans and taxis for that volume of people, but if they bring more to the island, there will be too many when the ships have gone. We already have four Grab cars/vans parked permanently at the entrance of the development where I live. They are there more often than when they are driving. They have even set up a small camp under the trees with chairs and a table. https://www.cruisetimetables.com/cruises-to-ko-samui-thailand-2025.html -

U.S. Rejects Thai Claims on Lack of Uyghur Resettlement Offers

This could possible seal the deal for Thailand becoming another remote Chinese state. This government have pizzed off their second 'bestest friend'. -
Vapes and cigarettes are not comparable. When folk buy fags, everyone knows what is inside them and they are taxed and controlled. When folk buy vapes, there is no control or tax and no one really knows what they are buying. Quite a few stories around the place about vapes containing 'drugs' in one form or another.

Thais Among 15 Injured in Misguided Bombing in South Korea
Tropicalevo replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
If North Korea does invade South Korea, the local residents will wish that more exercises had been carried out 'in civilian populated zones'. That is where the heaviest fighting is likely to be. That is where laughing boy Kim will want to do most damage. -

The convoy of lies rumbles on. Other countries DID offer to take these refugees. Why should those countries have to ask China? -

Many of our customers buy slabs/boxes of beer for their stay in the villas. Some even stop at a 7/11 to buy a box whilst on the way from the airport.
