I am all for protecting the environment but there is nothing in the post that says they are harming the environment. I do know that what I presume was the original species, was introduced to Laos from China during the Vietnam war. Is the oiginal species a 'wild' species in Thailand or was it similarly introduced fish soley to be farmed?

I think that what u r referring to is not a game. It is to try and make customers scam aware. Couldnt see it being very effective though. UK banks all do similar these days as banking scams r at record levels.

I have a retirement visa. I Winter on the border so I will now do three border runs rather than deal with the ignorant Neanderthals at my immigration office for an extension. Last time they even did a home visit 9:15 on a Sunday morning like they do for a marriage visa. They asked for a witness that I actually lived there and sent my girlfriend to get photocopies of 3 documents that I'd already submitted for the extension just a week or so before! They phoned her later asking her, as a witness to my living there, to bring a copy of her house book to the immigration office. Harassment or what!?!

Yes I forgot the young phone addicts who thoughtlessly tend to do this. If all other tables are full I will sit down with them. They soon get the message and move on.

Perfectly acceptable common sense practice. I always do the same if I'm on my own. What are you going to do if you buy your food and then there's no table on which to eat it? Just stand there like a lemon and wait. To reserve a table while you order your food is the logical thing to do.Why do you presume they take their time? If they r hungry they want to eat just like you and will return to the table quite quickly. In 18 years I've never noticed any tables being reserved or blocked as you say for an unreasonable length of time. And actually Thais usually eat and go in food courts really quickly. They don't sit around chatting like we farangs tend to do. We block the tables more than them in this way.

I have some first hand experience of this. As a landlord in the UK I used to support tenants with mental health problems. During that time I had two young male tenants in their early 20s both of whom had developed schizophrenia from cannabis use in their teens. They both had ex-hippy parents who had considered it harmless; safer than alcohol etc. and allowed them to regularly smoke it at home with their mates. As a result they are unable to work and need Powerful antipsychotic medication to keep them sane for the rest of their lives. Basically they have no future whatsoever! Basically their whole lives have been completely f u c k e d by cannabis. I enjoyed smoking it a bit when I was young and believe that it broadened and enhanced my creative thinking. But I stopped using it when I realized that it was destroying my common sense thinking.
