  1. A few days ago I was at noodle shop near Victory Monument eating my Pad Thai when I felt something run over my feet , when I looked down I notice a 10 inch hairless rat this is the first time I have ever seen one.

Has anyone else seen any hairless rats or other creatures in Thailand ?

What could have happenned to it ?

Not sure, but has your hair started to fall out yet? Could be contagious!

not yet but i will keep an eye on it

  2. Looks good indeed.

But I hate to see all those plastic utensils and polystyrene bowls :) .

If you bring home Street Stall food often, why use disposable dinnerware every time :D

    Patrick

Are you for real P Brownstone ? or a <deleted> ?> do you want all the stalls have silver service ?

  5. Save your money and go to Singapore to see how a zoo or birdpark should really be run. Zoos in Thailand are all about putting on shows, conservation & education are non existent.

what do they do different from thai zoos ?

  6. I have seen many gross old fat Farangs walking hand in hand with some young Thai girl who looks about 16 wearing skimpy shorts and thick makeup. Yes, this does make me feel sick.

What makes this worse is that the girl is probably only with the guy for financial gain. Nothing wrong with that but when this is done openly in public and I see all the passers by staring, it’s really embarrassing.

I consider these people the lowest denominations of society.

Do you consider the farang the lowest denomination of society or the girl or both .

What is your opinion on these girls that prefer older men ?

  7. Here is the Safari World orang-utans saga from a search on the Nation:

    SAINTOFSILENCE

How old are you & what is your nationality?

I'd be more interested to know his level of education, and I bet I would not be surprised.

    Patrick

Smart arse comments from judgemental a holes like yours are not called for.

  8. You have clearly no background knowledge of species-appropriate husbandry. Better shut up!

The same should apply to you get back in your cage.

    Hang on you two

May be i was misguided, But i was just beginning to think this could be a thread without any real slagging off.

ok ok so may be i'm blinkered my sincere apologises.

...apologises to saintofsilence, too. Didn't want to be so rude. :)

    apologises to you also Birdman

  9. I am not questioning your expertise infact I support the freedom for animals to live in the wild , but tigers and dolphins monkeys etc have been in world zoos and safaris all over the world for many years.

If these animals are trained correctly and cared for then let it be and go after the people who kill animals for ivory , skins etc.

And as I said before there are to many armchair critics that do nothing more than pass comments.

  10. I have just had a day at safari world this week you would love that place orangatang boxing , dolphin show , polar bears , tigers, here are some pics i posted.

I saw no signs of mistreated animals.

In saying that are you saying that should have being part of the show?

They are hardly likely to allow you to see that. Get real.

I don't like seeing animals mistreated at all and if I did see it I would have a different view , but the problem is that there are to many arm chair critics that talk a load of crap.

  11. If these animals were mistreated they would not be as gentle as they are there are tigers in zoos all over the world.

    Get over it.

I recommend to anyone go and have a look for your self its a well worth the visit.

    Rubbish.

Have you ever heard of the term beaten into submission?

You are really promoting that thread, where poster question the training methods of animals?????

I suppose you have a lot a photos from bullfights from Spain...

He questions the training methods but I have seen no evidence , these animals would turn on there handlers if mistreated , people just over exagerarate as i said before some people will always complain. " even over Obama kiling a fly "
