  1. Ok, in that case I apologise, I got it wrong.
  2. I hope by "they" you are not talking about Toyota. So who are "they" and what are these alternatives?
  3. Yes I did. And I was questioning your "I can't breathe "tactic". No doubt a hilarious reference to the death of George Floyd. Sad.
  4. Because 90% of people on here have the same anti-Thai prejudice as you do. You still haven't answered why MONEY was the issue when their decision undoubtedly cost them much much more than landing at Changi would have done. I look forward to you explanation because no doubt you have thought it through. None of your 90%-ers have answered the question, they all just parrot the same cliche.
  5. As said where? In your head? They had to pay for fuel to fly all the way back, they had to pay to land back at BKK, had to pay for the logistical nightmare of deplaning everyone, getting their bags off, storing them, looking after everyone for 6-7 hours (feeding and giving them drinks), assuming letting those people go who didn't want to be rescheduled, then bringing in a replacement plane, fuelling it, catering it, staffing it with an entirely new crew, then getting it a slot to fly out of BKK and fly in to SIN, then flying out. All to save a landing fee in Singapore. Do you see how ridiculous you sound? This forum is full of the most moronic anti-Thai posters who post without even thinking.
  6. ooooo we have an internet tough guy! Woooohoooo!! And one who proves that Americans don't understand sattire. Thanks for the laugh tough man.
  7. Jonny, you are so far to the right that your "left of centre" is still far right. Jonny F "left of centre". The funniest thing ever.
  8. What a joy you are.
  9. Jeez, he's not just discovered an untapped Maya Bay and is promoting it to Hollywood producers. It's effing Sizzler - a low to mid level food chain that literally everyone knows about. Get a grip man. It's like getting upset about someone saying Pizza Hut are doing a deal - nooooooooo, don't ruin it! What's your purpose??
  10. I just completed this quiz. My Score 50/100 My Time 102 seconds
  11. I really wish people wouldn't post AI summaries. They are long winded and useless and we can all ask Gemini/Grok/Perplexity. Also no vouching for the accuracy of anything they come up with.
  12. Yeah, I have had screens replaced before (phone, not tablet) and got it done at the service centre in MBK. I don't remember the price but thought it was reasonable at the time for what it was (it was a curved screen so not cheap). Service was good.
  13. Funny how people who live there or visit regularly say the transport is great, but the anti-Khan brigade who don't live there and don't visit say it is screwed. Interesting.
  14. Thank you. It's nice to hear from someone with first hand experience of living there, so tired of the nonsense from people who don't and who don't even visit. I lived there until I moved to Asia and have lots of family there and friends and they are all happy with Khan and his achievements. I visit twice a year. We know why the right hate Khan and it is nothing to do with ULEZ. Londoners like him (not only "the Muslims" as is claimed).
  15. Thought I would give you one more try to answer a direct question as I am curious how you can reconcile the fact he keeps getting re-elected by Londoners (who live in London) with your opinion (after two visits in 15 years) that everything is worse. But yet again you don't. Says it all.
  16. Games? What games?? I countered a post saying Sadiq Khan had destroyed public transport and "ruined people's lives" with low emissions mandates. I ask you again as someone who doesn't live in London and has just admitted they've been there twice in 15 years - Why does Sadiq keep getting re-elected by Londoners then? Why are they happy with him if everything is worse as you claim?
  17. Ok, waste of time playing now. Goodbye. Final try: Why does Sadiq keep getting re-elected by Londoners then? Why are they happy with him if everything is worse?
  18. You didn't dispute anything. I gave examples which you keep ignoring. Why don't you try? Was the air quality worse? Was the traffic worse? Was public transport worse? What, specifically, was worse this time around? What's worse for me? It's horrendously expensive. There's a lot of litter, but then there always has been and that is true throughout the UK. I also spent time up in Merseyside and it was filthy and run down with absolutely terrible transport - do you want the post code?
  19. I was staying in N16. But I am talking about the whole of London as I have friends and had meetings all over the city. Air is much cleaner, transport is much better and more affordable, traffic is almost non existent in the overall scheme of things. You can dispute that all you want but you would look pretty silly. If you think any of those are worse now than 30 years ago please give an example - it is going to be good! Londoners continually vote for Sadiq. He's the most successful mayor of all time if you judge by how many times he has been re-elected. But Jonny comes out with nonsense like he destroyed transport and ruined people's lives with low emissions mandates. And Jonny does not live there - he knows nothing other than what he reads in his right wing groups and media and he parrots it and looks, frankly, stupid. Talk to Londoners.
  20. What is make believe about these statements exactly? Is the air dirtier, the traffic worse, is public transport worse and less affordable? "I was just in London. It wasn't much different to how it was when I lived there 30-odd years ago, except there's no traffic, the air is clean, public transport is infinitely better and more affordable. "
  21. As do your constant personal attacks on him - we all know the reason.
