  1. Have you heard of Bill Heinecke? Quite a few others too.
  2. I agree re: flights. I have always had flights booked before the application and included them in it. Obviously I have no idea if it had any influence but I always felt it was a strong statement. The more documents you can supply the better. The worst they can do is disregard the ones they don't need.
  3. Yeah, it's luck of the draw. I've done six I think. Mostly reasonably quick but I did have one that took nearly ten weeks and it was touch and go.
  4. Ah. Maybe try a hyphen or a full stop? Just guessing here as I haven't done a TDAC myself.
  5. Good advice posted already but in case you were thinking of it DO NOT transfer a lump of money to her. They frown on this and it will count against you. My wife doesn't work (looks after the kids) so we just show her real bank account as it is (pretty empty), but all my supporting financials - no problem. You are the sponsor so they are only interested in your financials, not hers, they just need to know she will return to Thailand - your marriage, non immigrant visa, and the houses in her name are good. Also write a good cover letter from you explaining your relationship, life and commitments in Thailand, reasons to come back, certify you will cover all expenses during the trip, and give a brief explanation of why you're going (to visit family etc). Cover all that and you should be fine but as others have warned, get on with it!
  6. You use the number on your re-entry permit if you have one.
  7. Seeing as I did mine less than two months ago I would suggest the site. Also my friend has an appointment to do his on Tuesday morning, they checked his documents when he walked in recently and it's exactly the same. But up to you.
  8. "Most boring book ever". So you've read it then, obviously?
  9. Where? How do you know they are non Thai? They sound Thai. But you say with 100% certainty they are not Thai. How do you know?
  10. Correct. I did Bang Chak a couple of months ago. 1. Copy of passport photo page, visa page, and last entry stamp. 2. Medical certificate obtained within 30 days of your appointment (every clinic has a standard form - just tell them you need to renew your driver's license). 3. Certificate of Residence from immigration. Again this is only valid for 30 days I think. 4. Copy of current license. That's it. Edit: Oh, and make sure you do the online video / test and print out the QR on completion, otherwise you have to spend an hour watching it at the DLT. Very dull. https://www.dlt-elearning.com/
  11. Pretty clear..........in your imagination. You have no evidence. She has already made a statement and nowhere does she say she was attacked, verbally or physically. So get that fantasy our of your head. Why do you guys have to automatically defend her because she is Israeli? It makes no sense. I am quite happy to criticise Brits when it's deserved (which is often). Why can't you do the same? Even without condemning, why not just ignore it - why do you have to invent fantasies about her being attacked, or the cameraman being an "enemy". So ridiculous. Ever heard of the Barbra Striesand effect?
  12. Fair play, that's actually quite funny.
  13. Boohoo. "others leave feeling they were targeted for their spending power rather than appreciated for their presence". Can you name a single country that simply appreciates tourists for their presence? Entitled nonsense.
  14. Just to update the thread, I got an email just now that the application is accepted and they are sending the passport for printing. As far as I can tell my card has only been charged £143.51 (even though this is an outrageous cost - one of the most expensive passports in the world). So it seems whatever they did wrong on the payment it was sorted out after a phone call. Two weeks from submission to acceptance, I wonder how long till it comes back for collection. They did say approx four weeks when I applied so seems that could be about right.
  15. Says the man who gets upset by negative emojis.
  16. Nope, well unless Nick was Maltese then he would be saying they are only picking on her because she is Maltese, the person with the phone must be an enemy, probably from the 16th century Ottoman Empire etc. If nobody had made ridiculous claims to support her action then nobody would have been talking about this thread now.
  17. It would have been over in a single page if one particular poster stopped talking rubbish. (90% of the replies are to him and his weird fantasies (she was targeted because of her nationality, the person doing the videoing must be an enemy etc etc). If he'd stopped digging his holes this thread would have fizzled out pages ago. But he keeps going and making new things up! I think he likes the attention.
  18. Where's the mention of Gaza? And she was called "an Israeli tourist". Is that what the Gazans call them now? I mean they kind of are tourists in their country although in a more permanent, illegally settled, way.
  19. They are too painful to be included in photos. Poor girl.
  20. Yeah!!! I heard the person holding the camera is actually Mahmoud Abbas. Can you confirm with your sources?
  21. You mean like Nick who was the first person to make that connection: only attacked and video'd because she was Israeli, the person videoing must be an "enemy". You mean those comparisons? I agree, nutso indeed!
  22. Totally agree. If the floor is spiky then you should keep your shoes on if your feet hurt, definitely. Spiky floors are bad. On the off-chance the floor was smooth I am not so sure.
