  1. You would cross off one of the world's best and most convenient airlines because someone on an internet forum once had to pass two security checks when they changed terminals?
  2. That's what I was thinking, T3 to T2 as it was a long journey. My onward flight was also Emirates so not sure why they would be using T2, but I guess it can happen occasionally for various reasons.
  3. No. They have automatic trains between concourses and also between Terminal 3 and Terminal 1. If you are going to a completely different terminal you're on a bus. Happened to me last year unless you're saying it didn't. I don't remember what terminal I left from, but I arrived from BKK at Terminal 3, then had a maybe 20 minute bus ride to another terminal for my connecting flight to London (there were staff waiting with a sign with our flight number), it was a long bus journey and my second flight was fully boarded when those on our bus arrived. It was a very short connection window so it is possible the bus went from one end of Terminal 3 to the other, or it may have been a different terminal, I don't remember. Possibly landed on Concourse A and left from Terminal 1 - the time to go all the way through A, B, C to get to D to take the train to Terminal 1 would be too long so they bus you from Concourse A to Terminal 1. So it happens. Stop telling people their experiences didn't happen. Happened to me and clearly happened to the OP.
  4. It's because on the flight out you changed terminals and went outside the secure area to take the bus. When you arrive in Dubai everyone goes through security before connecting to their next flight. Normally, if you are just changing concourses (A, B, C for example) within the same terminal you have not left the secure area. You left the secure area to get a bus, then entered a different terminal, therefore you need to go through security to enter the secure area of your second terminal. Not really a big deal, and not really difficult to understand. On the way back you transitted within the same terminal and didn't leave the secure zone, hence the usual single check.
  5. How do you carry that enormous chip on your shoulder around? Must be very heavy for a snowflake especially. No-one in this thread has misspelled Putin's name deliberately which is what is not allowed. A "Putler" is a composite image and that is the subject of discussion, the banning of these composite images. It's hilarious how triggered you guys get, so easily. Snowflakes.
  6. There are already reports of people getting sent away to the terminals if they haven't done it. Why the hell would you want to try it? Just fill out the form.
  7. Oh no, I know it is biased against a certain group of people: black people. Lammy Review (2017) – UK Government Commissioned: Conducted by David Lammy MP. Found that Black people are overrepresented at every stage of the criminal justice process. Black defendants were more likely to: Be charged rather than cautioned. Plead not guilty (and thus face trial). Receive longer custodial sentences in some offences. Ministry of Justice Statistics: Black and Asian people are more likely to be stopped and searched. Black people are more likely to be arrested and prosecuted, even when controlling for offence type. White defendants were more likely to be given community sentences rather than imprisonment. Are Connolly and Yaxley black? I must have missed that.
  8. Well they'd both be wrong and the would have plead innocent instead of both pleading guilty. Connolly plead guilty to the offence of inciting racial hatred contrary to section 19(1) of the Public Order Act 1986. https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Lucy-Connolly-v-The-King.pdf Yaxley-Lennon plead guilty to Contempt of Court. In what parallel world are they innocent?
  9. Why are you ignoring my questions in reply to you, yet you're still popping up and bleating with nothing to back it up? Explain how it is a set up. What is bogus about the charges? I guess you must have studied the evidence so please do share. And how does the British judiciary and CPS allow bogus charges to be brought exactly? And please don't cry about Tommy as he has nothing to do with this, just explain using your own words. Let's see if you can manage this at the third time of asking. More nonsense.
  10. All I read is blah blah blah Tommy Robinson blah blah, waa waa waaa. Try again using actual things and facts. I'll repeat the question for you so you can try, again, to answer it with words: What is bogus about the charges? I guess you must have studied the evidence so please do share. And how does the British judiciary and CPS allow bogus charges to be brought exactly? And please don't cry about Tommy as he has nothing to do with this, just explain using your own words.
  11. That is true, although it doesn't look good for them given that there was enough evidence for an extradition. The police can't throw anybody in jail. Charges are only brought by the CPS and only when there is a body of evidence to support a case being brought. If the CPS deems the evidence weak they will not prosecute. And NOBODY EVER has been "thrown in jail" for posting an innocent comment on Facebook. Nobody. That has only ever happened in your head.
  12. Do you actually believe what you just wrote? I mean, seriously? What "facts" have they spoken to "establishment lies" exactly? I'd love to hear your insight. Can you share some? In case you missed it they have been charged with rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking, controlling prostitution for gain and several other crimes. But yeah, truthbombing lefty narratives. Got it. What a weird fantasy land you live in.
  13. So are you saying they are innocent and the charges are falsified then?
  14. Man dresses up to attract prostitutes. Wow.
  15. What is bogus about the charges? And how does the British judiciary and CPS allow bogus charges to be brought exactly?
  16. Yeah, and then the hospital will turf him out when they realise he has no money.
  17. For me there are many factors. If I am taking my whole family it's worth the effort for the cost saving but as already mentioned if I am taking the family I'll drive anyway. As a solo traveler if you're going for less than a week then it is absolutely not worth the hassle and the waste of time. If you're going for a month then it's worth considering. But that's only personal opinion - basically it is up to you and only you.
  18. Yeah, deffo not worth the hassle unless you're paying for a whole family or something. But if I'm taking the whole family I'm driving anyway....
  19. Can't get better than Stewart Lee for me. Highly intellectual, extremely funny, liberal left wing political sattire.
  20. Nah, he just didn't watch the video before he posted it as he assumed it would show something like the thumbnail image of hundreds of "them" sleeping and camping on beaches. That's my guess.
  21. It's not only me then! I think it is only you and me that bothered to investigate by watching it - and I include the OP in that. Everyone else just piles in with their prejudices...
  22. Misleading tripe. 1. The video doesn't include any images such as the badly composited one it uses as a placeholder (see above). 2. The entire eight minute video just shows empty Thai streets with a droning AI voiceover moaning about Indians. 3. There is not a single Indian in the entire 8 minute video. The image above (which, again, does NOT appear in the video) is not even showing Indians. Not even tourists. And it is another bad composite. They were migrant workers from neighbouring countries that set up camp on the beach for ONE NIGHT whilst awaiting transportation to work sites in Bangkok and elsewhere. And yes, they left it in a filthy state. But they were not Indian tourists. When a video goes that far out of its way to mislead people what should we infer about their intentions? The same channel has another scaremongering one called "It Begins... Indians Moving Into Thailand's Cities" showing a badly composited picture of tons of people packing Thai streets. Watch the video and the entire thing shows an empty bridge and a completely empty Benjakitti Forest Park, again with an anti-Indian droning AI voiceover, for the entire eight minutes. The holding page, and images from the two videos. Spot the difference. Seems you are very easily taken in. I wonder why? Did you even watch the video you linked to?? And did anyone else commenting even look at the video? Watch it for ten seconds and it is obvious it is racist tripe because nothing they talk about - or show in the thumbnails - appears in the videos. Nothing.
