  1. when charging an electric vehicle, there are charging losses ranging from under 10% to about 20%. these losses depend on various factors such as charging speed, charger type, battery type, temperatures, etc. i would also include these charging losses in a calculation ...
  2. i would really like to see a house search at a special hospital, with a sick old patient called tony ... with pictures and finger pointing ... that would be fun ????

  8. @eisfeld, you've made some excellent points, thank you. the overall cost of a registered "grid feed" solar project is significantly higher due to the necessary parameters and requirements and it will take it's time. if i remember correctly, one member chose this route and has been waiting for around 2 years for a digital meter just for to start exporting into the grid ...! do we have a member who can officially export to the grid?
  9. try to do meter readings at 08:00 and 18:00 on a few hot days. that will give you the approximate daily usage. an other point to consider: some forum members have already mentioned, with PEA bills over approximate 48k thb per year, a correct sized solar system starts to be an economical good investment (if not a DIY / hobby project).
  10. perhaps i am overlooking something. If you wish to "cover" your 24-hour energy needs, you would need to have a hybrid (battery) system. without a hybrid system, you must know your energy consumption from approximately 08:00 to 18:00 in order to calculate the necessary solar panel capacity ... in the night you have to use PEA.
  11. i really hope for you that it ends well, but I have a strange feeling it is not over yet ...
  12. i have done a "test sitting" in the byd seal at the motor show 03/23, looking forward to a test drive ...

  15. many established carmakers are not just one step behind tesla and china. catching up with them and convincing ev owners to switch to their new products in the coming years can be challenging ... what will be the car prices comparing to ev's from china ... furthermore, tesla and china will not remain stagnant in their product development. established carmakers face a big challenge ahead ...
  16. it seems you can see the prices only with the app ....

  19. ev cars will play a role in the near future, and they might even be the future, who can say for sure? ev cars are not perfect, but they have a huge potential, which may solve many issues in the next few years .. internal combustion engine cars are not perfect either, but we did not see any big improvement for a long time ... however, ev cars are (at the moment) not suitable for everyone ...
  20. in just one day, the volvo ex30 received over 1,100 reservations (deposit 50,000 thb)! not bad at all !!
  21. another recognized expert is providing valuable insights into their experience/knowledge! would you please share your negative experiences with the volvo brand? have you ever own or driven a volvo? i believe that people associate volvo as a safe, premium vehicle that has distinguished itself in recent years through its quality, reliability, innovative design, and so on.
  22. if you want to be realistic it's your way to look at it ... other may see it differently ... as i do :-)
  23. a house solar installation is typically sized in such a way that on sunny days, there is an excess of electricity generated that cannot be utilized by appliances or battery, etc. this surplus energy is usually wasted if it cannot be fed back into the grid. instead of wasting this this "excess electricity", it can be used for free to charge eg. an electric vehicle. solar installations, as described above, do have this "excess electricity", whether they owner have an ev car or not. referring to this "excess power" as a free byproduct of the solar installation is certainly accurate in this context, the owner does not need invest anything extra to get this "excess electricity"!
  24. please provide information regarding the cause of the fire. as far as I am aware, the cause of this incident is still under investigation. however, according to the news reports, it appears that the main battery may not have been the cause of the fire. at the moment, you have started with a rather weak case number 1 ...
