a few days ago, i received my byd sealion 7 performance. the delivery took over two months. i'm very impressed with the features and quality. according to byd, the first 2000 km should be driven in eco mode. that’s no issue for me ... eco mode provides more than enough power ... i still have many settings to test and explore ... exciting times ahead. i briefly tested charging at a ppt station, ev station pluz, using my bbl credit card. it was simple and seamless ... i easily charged about 20 kw/h without any problems. next time, i'll try some different charging stations. overall, i’m a happy and proud new ev owner ... side note: i had been considering replacing my 12-year-old big petrol car for a while. by chance, i came across electric mobility, got interested, and did my research. it took a long time to find the right bev for me. i didn’t buy it for environmental reasons or the lower cost per kilometer ... though both are nice side effects. my wife still has her petrol car ...

there's huge potential in battery technology, but also in software and overall car electronics. however, i don't believe that in 10 to 20 years, all new cars will be fully autonomous or that today's electric cars will be completely outdated. even now, many 20- to 30-year-old cars with outdated and sometimes poor safety features are still on the road. i'm convinced that today's electric cars will still be driving safely in 20 years, without any major safety or comfort issues ...

i had the same problem a few years ago in a rental house. this is how i solved it: near the spot where the gecko was hiding in the ceiling, there was a terrace with a built-in lamp. i removed the lamp and closed the opening at first. when it got dark, i opened it again and set up a bright light outside. the light attracted insects, and the gecko hunts insects. around midnight, i closed the opening again. i repeated this process for several days until the gecko stopped returning to the ceiling. maybe this method is worth a try for you too. good luck!
