Do NOT underestimate the ingenuity of pythons...
They will sneak into the most well protected pens and have a party

Hi,
Just wanted to report on my semi slicks.
Some Schwable Sammy Slicks, great tyres for mixed terrain riding.
Roll real well on the Tarmac but still got plenty for cornering on loose gravel.
Probably not a single track/mud choice but for all round use I highly recommend them..
Happy trails

unfortunately it is too late. looking back i regret bitterly having wasted nearly 24 retirement years instead of making my dream, living in a rural area surrounded by a variety of animals, come true.Mr Naam ... can you picture yourself here?
i can picture myself on 25 rai, with a fistful of buffaloes, some sheep, ducks, chicken, a pack of a dozen dogs, a fishpond, a pair of peacocks, a garden with a variety of vegetables and herbs...
For a few buffalo's more.
.
Is it too late to change, Mr. Naam? I for one, know it's never too late to dream.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Kumpel(German for: mate)
It's never too late, buy a duck today

Hijacking thread slightly but similar topic..
Normally I am on a Non O marriage but didn't renew this time back in UK as I have another short contract beginning on 7th July. So I came in on the 30 day visa exemption, which expires on 6th July !! Is it really worth paying for a 7 day extension at 1900 baht, or just pay the 500 for a 1 day overstay ? Would it really affect any future visa applications, bearing in mind my passport is nearly full and due for renewal..
Thanks and sorry to jump in but the Title caught my eye.

If more of them looked up to Chuck Norris, Thailand would be a much healthier place...

Hi,
Just fitted this camera.
Bought off Amazon for about 2500 baht, not the cheapest but not mega bucks either.
Comes with everything except an SD card, again cheap from Amazon for a 16Gb (enough I think).
Cable is nearly 3m long so easy to position cam where you want it, tucked the cable behind head lining and not noticeable at all.
From the driving position it does not distract, as it is mostly behind the rear view mirror. Only when the viewing screen is down can you notice it.
Will update about video quality after our road trip tomorrow.

Before it's locked ...
How much did you get, just so we have a base figure when the 500s start to appear for sale ?
Thanks

I agree - but ask yourself why you've managed to avoid an accident so far. You've likely adapted to the conditions thereby decreasing your chances of a collision. Why haven't you had three accidents in the last nine months?
I expect it was that straight forward... I have lost count of the number of times people carry out stupid, incomprehensible moves on the roads around me. Touch wood I have avoided any contact so far but I expect that it will happen at some point, no matter what I try to do..To that end I have also gone down the dash cam route, hopefully it will never be needed but might get me out of a sticky situation in the future. Unless its my fault, then it will be a glove box cam !
I doubt it was that straightforward. Sounds like the OP knew what was coming and tried to prevent him from changing lanes. If it was unavoidable it would have resulted in worse than a damaged wing mirror. Yes the minivan was at fault, but the OP likely could have swallowed his pride, braked, and avoided the collision. The Op was simply driving down the inside lane and the guy in the second lane cut across him.
Because..
A. I have been lucky
B. I have been working on a boat for 5 of those 9 months
It will happen to me at some point, probably happen to all you too if you stay here long enough.
Statistics don't lie.. Well sometimes they do

Yup, just found them on Google..
Was interested in their reading and writing courses. Is it possible just to buy the work books ?
There is no pricing on the website for these, guess I will mail them.
Having a slow day... Just found the prices for the workbooks... 300 baht, not too bad..
What are the things that annoy you about living in Thailand?
