Good for you Thailand. Too many countries soft on murderers and child abusers.
Right on!
There's certainly no better way to teach them is there?

I surely believe those sweethearts but just to be sure may we see the cctv images from the moment he walked it and landed heavily injured on the floor?
we all know Pooks is hanging full with cams so if not release the video then close that joint down 6 months and arrest them all and pay fines and his medical but will never happen
Sorry CCTV not working that night.

Does anyone have a clue about what happened?
I hope the falang didn't think the ladies were pushovers.
Hopefully there'll be no lasting injuries from this event.
The police handled the falang gently as they loaded him into their truck.

That reminds me of a personal incident I once had in Montreal. I was at a cute boutique type store with crafty merch and some item caught my eye. I asked a staff guy if it was made in Canada. His reply -- how the f%$W)& should I know? Polite!
(I think I bought it.)
I'm guessing that happened since I was last there around 25 years ago. I loved Montreal as I did all of Quebec that I saw.
I'm guessing you must speak French or the shop keeper was one of the exceptions and spoke English or was willing to speak it I should say.
Montreal will always remain in the #1 position for best strip clubs until I happen to run across something better.
Pity this thread has some supposed Americans saying trash about Canada.
Where is canuckamuck when his reply about his country would be so meaningful?

I still believe he was one if not the greatest actor hollywood ever produced. But do not agree with his stance on Trump.
That's fair enough.

You answered your own question in your last paragraph. I fully concur.
Are you calling these sentences his "last paragraph?
"So why should i invest in a country that does not allow a foreigner to have full ownership of any land/building and business?
How does Thailand attract foreign investors?
How did he answer his own question? ?

I watched a HuffPost live broadcast about a border incident and got to thinking. In the past there were times when television networks interrupted regular programing for news but today that's not necessary. It's simply live news being broadcast by an individual from a smart phone. No editing I believe.
Do you see or anticipate any impact on Thailand because of live YouTube or Live FaceBook postings?
I think Live broadcasts may show the powers that be with the proverbial pants down.
Transparency? Who would have thunk it?

A very large number of Ex Seals, and all the other well trained military commando units throughout the world gravitate to the Kingdom.
Beware of the killer sitting next to you.
The next person you meet will probably be an astronaut scheduled to be on a flight to Pluto or Saturn.
Or he's test piloting the next Boeing supersonic passenger transport. The Kingdom is heavily packed with lying blowhards.

Good solid computer tables are difficult to find in CM.
When I say computer tables, I mean those with sliding keyboard panels and a place to put the printer
This is a computer table I bought for $600. plus $200. for assembly in my office.
It took two experienced installers 8 hours to assemble it. They could have been models for a time and motion study. I was totally satisfied with everything from start to finish. Quality product for the 10 years I used it.
I don't see these kind of things available in the Kingdom but maybe they are in some places in Bangkok.
I think a person has to appreciate/understand the limited availability of some/many items in Thailand.

The Facebook page for the ferry has posted several notices (in Thai) and included wave height graphs of the gulf, so they're either warning customers about upcoming bad weather or cancelling until further notice.
Good for them. I have a lot of respect for harsh weather conditions on the sea. I've had a few unpleasant experiences that i'd rather never repeat. I actually saw whitecaps yesterday from my balcony and that means it'd be pretty bad once out on the open water.

Good job Thai Police. Throw the ba....tards in jail and after a year or so deport them. Somebody in this world has to stand strong against illegals in their countries. Canada and America and all of Europe are not doing it.
Wow, You're really something , pan,
I'm impressed.

Even riskier, getting someone who doesn't know the script to do it.
Thai has many similar characters and getting a loop or stroke in the wrong place can destroy the meaning (hopefully) or change it completely (it will invariably be rude).
Just Google "tattoo fails" and you will go off the idea, my favourite is the person who had "chicken curry" tattooed in Chinese.
Very considerate warning.

There was a topic on here in Thaivisa a while ago about this not too long ago, and it was said that this was not the case. Milk like Dutch Mill etc was said to be real milk.
I'm a milk drinker and I think the milk sold in Thailand is quite good.
It's for darn sure the Chokchai Farms milk isn't from power. along with Dutch Mill. and some other brands.
I wonder why the BritMan chooses to post such nonsense.

Can't imagine why the cost of the residence certificate would be of interest to most people?...Around 200 or 300 Bt. is unlightly to break the bank.
Perhaps you have a limited imagination.

If i'd paid for my kid 3-4 years worth of Uni & all the expenses it recquired, and at the end of it, she wanted to follow in her mum's footsteps and open a noodle shop, i'd be well pi$$ed off!
No problem with the noodle shop bit, it's the waste of time & money doing the Uni bit.
Currently have a similar situation, where our daughter is halfway through a 4 year Uni course. Chinese language, English language, Business studies inc tourism sector, blah blah blah.
She's a really bright kid, hard worker, clever, and I just think Uni will be a waste of time and money for her. Lend her a mil TB and I reckon she'd be successful in whatever business she sets herself up in...
I'd suggest education in and of itself is unlikely to be a bad thing or a waste.

The administration is bringing religion into the mix. That'll fit right in with the religious conservative agenda but it may result in an unexpected backlash.
Stephen Colbert did a pretty good presentation of religious interpretation and misunderstanding.
Sarah Huckabee's handling of the press conference today set a new standard, I think, and it certainly wasn't a high one.

I've learned the one and ONLY price that matters is what the cash register rings up.
If I have any question about a price I simply ask the cashier how much the item is.
Thailand is a little behind when it comes to customer service concerns.

Any criminal activity is abhorrent to me but sometimes an event is especially abhorrent such as accosting an older lady such as this lady.

New York to sue Trump administration over family border separations - governor

As abhorrent as I find this child separation policy I don't think we've seen the depth to which this administration can go.
