  1. Every time ICE murders someone the Trump Admin circles the wagons and then makes s*** up. The victims always end up as "TERRORISTS". I think the term "terrorist" is the more overused and inappropriate word in the Washington DC's lexicon. Speaking as a conservative: The Trump Administration's antics are freaking over-the-top.
  2. Three more years of this 🤮
  3. Obtain a magic lantern. Give it a good rub. When the Genie pops out, make these three wishes: Make the CIA disappear. Make MI6 disappear. Make Peace On Earth. I'd be careful with the last one. The cheeky Genie would probably do something like this. "Make mankind disappear and viola - Peace On Earth. Sure - why not!" BOOM
  4. 60,000 dead innocent Woman and children killed in Gaza since 2023 would still be alive if The United States had allowed them to escape. 60,000 dead innocent Woman and children killed in Gaza since 2023 would still be alive if The United Kingdom had allowed them to escape. 60,000 dead innocent Woman and children killed in Gaza since 2023 would still be alive if The European Union had allowed them to escape. Actually this is more accurate: 60,000 dead innocent Woman and children killed in Gaza since 2023 would still be alive if <enter UN countries who could have facilitated Israeli genocide and become parties to the resultant Ethnic Cleansing> had allowed them to escape. There! Fixed it!!!
  5. Nighttime Solar: Reverse Panels Generate Power After Dark Researchers at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Australia are advancing a groundbreaking technology known as thermoradiative diodes, often described as reverse solar panels. These devices produce electricity at night by exploiting radiative cooling, a natural process where Earth releases heat absorbed during the day as infrared radiation into the cold expanse of space. Traditional solar panels rely on photovoltaic cells to convert sunlight into electricity and remain inactive after sunset. In contrast, thermoradiative diodes operate in reverse: they emit infrared photons from a warmer surface (the panel) toward a colder environment (the night sky), generating a small electric current through this heat differential. The concept draws from earlier theoretical and modeling work at institutions such as Harvard and Stanford University. In 2022, UNSW researchers became the first to experimentally demonstrate direct electrical power generation using this approach. Current prototypes yield very modest output—approximately 100,000 times less than conventional solar panels—making them unsuitable for large-scale grid applications at present. However, the technology shows promise for low-power needs. Professor Ned Ekins-Daukes, leading the UNSW effort, explains that Earth continuously radiates heat outward at night, visible as a glow on infrared cameras. This steady emission creates an opportunity to harvest energy without sunlight. Potential uses include powering small overnight loads, such as WiFi routers or phone chargers, thereby reducing reliance on batteries. A particularly compelling application lies in space: satellites, which alternate between sunlit and dark phases roughly every 45 minutes, could use these diodes to maintain operations during orbital night when temperatures drop dramatically. While efficiency remains low, ongoing improvements aim to enhance output and practicality. This innovation represents a step toward more continuous renewable energy generation, complementing daytime solar systems and addressing intermittency challenges. Key Takeaways Thermoradiative diodes function as reverse solar panels, generating electricity at night by radiating infrared heat into space via radiative cooling. UNSW researchers achieved the first direct demonstration of power output in 2022, though current levels are significantly lower than traditional photovoltaic panels. Future applications focus on low-power devices (e.g., overnight electronics) and satellite power during dark orbital periods, with potential to extend renewable energy availability. 6. And ICE agent had the gun and was running it across the street prior to the summary execution of the victim.
  7. In 1930s Germany that were called The Sturmabteilung (SA). Putting militarized goons on the streets is the hallmark of a Fascistic state. Sorry to see America come to this point.
  8. Dear Canada - this could be you. trump-bat-penguin.mp4
  9. The Clinton's are TeflonTM. They are untouchable. Hillary just flips the DOJ the bird while Bill turns around, drops his draws, and "moons" Pam Bondi and Congress. And nothing will happen.
  10. Read 'em and weep. The House and Senate will go to the Democrats after the 2026 midterms and any mandate Trump thought he had will disappear. However, governance in the US will grind to a halt as Democrats attempt to roll back everything that the Trump Administration did and then spend the next two years doing little but attempting to impeach Trump and his cabinet. It will be a mess. I'm glad I live in Thailand - break out the beer and popcorn and watch the show
  11. Was Starmer there? Has Starmer ever spent a day in the UK military? No and no. Gawd, the UK has the whiniest, butt-hurt politicians on the planet. I'm surprised he doesn't insist that Donald Trump's future comments aren't censored.
  12. The US is not a "Democracy," it's a Republic.
  13. Sorry mate - that really sucks. Hope all works out for you. Dealing with any bureaucracy is never any fun. Dealing with two? Egads!
  14. Thaksin needs to man-up, do his sentence, and then when he gets out, I'll even respect him for doing his time for his crime instead to wielding his political power and attempt to whimp out with doctor excuses and then LARPing as in invalid. I found the latter to me more egregious than anything else.
  15. If I was in Thailand with a 5 year old son and I'd either come illegally or overstayed my visa - then what do you expect would happen Absolutely nothing different than happened in the US. God only know what would happen here if the father was thrown into Immigration Detention Prison and the son is on overstay (or illegally entered) as well.
  16. Quit beating around the bush and show Iran and the world that the US has the most powerful military in the world and can crush any and all countries who fail to bow to Donald J. Trump - The True Supreme Leader Of The Free World. Iran's pathetic, poorly built, little missiles can't penetrate the superior air defense systems created by the United States - the most technologically advanced country on the face of the Earth! Do it President Trump - bomb the Iranians back to the stone age, put US boots on the ground to crush the Iranian military and overthrow the weak Iranian terror regime, and bring back the true leader of Iran, his Excellency and True Leader of Persia - The Shah of Iran. Don't be a coward President Trump - show the entire world you command the most powerful military on the planet and will crush all countries which fail to defer to Peace Through Strength. Show the entire world that the United States means business.
  17. Well - add Don Lemon to the list. Of course, he's saying he was "only a journalist." I guess we'll see how that stands. Personally I'm a free speech absolutist, however, that ends when protestors deliberately attempt to impede other citizens freedom of religious expression. When you enter a church you are not a member of with the intention of disrupting and shutting down the services - well, that's a step over the line. Arrests and prosecution are warranted imho. If nothing else, the protestors are trespassing but I think the DOJ might actually make violations of the church-attendees civil rights stick. In this case, I hope so. Everyone charged will have their day in court.
  18. Both sides of the two-party duopoly are set on dismantling the US Constitution. Now the 4th Amendment is essentially being ignored. Welcome to Fascism.
  19. Why would I care - I don't live there any more. And my wife is Thai. We fit right in in North Hollywood.
  20. Now don't get me wrong. I fully expect a public reaction that will see a major change in the make-up of the US House and Senate which I expect will swing Democrat in a major way. The Democrats won't be any better, in fact, my guess is they'll be magnitudes worse. Stick a fork in the United States - it's done.
  21. Most of the West now has a Nazi problem as Western countries being to embrace Fascism and authoritarianism as their dominate form of governance. Example - ICE commander Gregory Bovino now rocks classic German Sturmabteilung Storm-trooper fashion albeit in a fashionable green as the Trump Admin apparatchiks come out with their "might makes right," law of the jungle (forest green's a nice touch), who needs rules approach to domestic and international "law" enforcement. My guess it's by design and not some historical fluke.
  22. She should follow Grace Slick's lead an know when it's time to retire. Trust me Dolly - it's past time for you to retire.
  23. Who is Chris and what the heck makes Chris "the expert?" Obviously Chris, like most expats, has never been outside of the main tourist areas in Thailand. My guess is that Chris is just a tourist.
