  1. The local govt office at the time approved the sale of the land with my wife and the new owner that's what all the paperwork was all about so the land can be put in the new owners name.
  2. In my opening post I said the paperwork was all done at the local govt office that governs over where the land is. I just found out the owner contacted the land office in Bangkok and they said there was not a problem. So her bother is with the local one.
  3. Well maybe dunno but I recommended she gets a lawyer to look at the paperwork and if it is all in order she can get him to write a letter saying they are in breach of contract.
  4. You can have on and off switches for the pump like we have. If we want a power shower on goes the pump. If the pressure from govt is not good sometimes, on goes the pump.
  5. Me thinks if the water from govt like he said drops off pressure how will a pump draw enough water from govt supply for the pump to work.
  6. No it's reporting about something that is happening in a part of UK.
  7. I was trying to message @paragonick but he seems to disappeared. Leasehold land owned by our daughter was sold and the local govt looked through paperwork as my wife was selling the land for her on her behalf with a copy of ID card etc. The money exchanged hands and paperwork signed by all parties. The new owner 3 years on now wants to build on the land and has been refused by the local govt because there is no paperwork with my daughters signature on only my wife on her behalf. I first thought was seeing as contract law in Thailand is similar to western laws the a contract has already been agreed upon paperwork signed and accepted so how can local govt change their mind 3 years down the road. Anyone have knowledge on how we can help the new owner.
  8. Yes you can fit a pump but always best to have tank as well in case there is no water from govt coming at any time.
  9. Yeah I forgot about the smaller engine Versys they reasonably high and have adjustable suspension maybe.
  10. With most new bikes you usually have to do some adjustments and changes to suspension positions if you are a taller person. The CRF & KLX are tall bikes the CB not so much but some height increasing can be made.
  11. To late to do anything about it now they are established. Religion or belief is the cost others pay for tolerating.
  12. If you don't know much about bikes I would go for a CRF250L or a Honda CB250. Kawasaki KLX250.
  13. Bought one 3 head Philishave type shaver from Lazada 215baht + carriage, called an Enchen, had it over a year now, goes fine.
  14. Seen many here but this is long time favorite. LINE_MOVIE_1529916222758.mp4
  15. No problem I will drop the money off in cash from my helicopter to you just give me your GPS coordinates. ????
  16. Yes but I am a expert it won't go below 41 this year and next year 75 again to the pound.
  17. OK we know the UK in parts of the country are a mess but it's not going to be dealt with overnight it will take many decades. My family is OK in UK and I have made provision should they decide to retire in Thailand if they so wish, up to them as I often say now. ????????
  18. That's where planning retirement is important you might live longer than you thought. ????
  19. How would anyone know the Thai govt is holding the baht up and how long would they be able to do that, doesn't sound right or a possibility.
  20. OK ???? I was going say my advice would be not to open a joint bank account with any lady without being married. If you have the book and the ATM card OK but with that bank and a/c if she has the details of the account and she can withdraw money without you being there then she could maybe tell them she has lost the book and get another and make a withdrawal.
