I don't know how Credit Cards work in Thailand, are given to Thais against property they have as security or what. I was to believe it's run the same as money in the bank if you haven't got money you cannot spend it because they don't do overdrafts or do they.

I reckon his talking about fuel setting problems or maybe sensor problems he obviously doesn't understand a EGR problem and he must know that filters have to be replaced or cleaned out as in my case which our local Cockpit did for me free. .

Or look in the handbook.

What engine was fitted.? Carb or fuel injectors. ? Can the ECU of it has one be plugged into for computer analysis.? Fueling shouldn't be difficult to resolve.

Don't need one I have Cockpit ???? and my lastest Isuzu doesn't have a problem with EGR filters like older models. A code readers no good for my bike thank goodness. ????

I've never needed an IDP I also don't know now what countries DL's Thai DLT's will accept without a IDP. At the time at Sukhothai DLT they would not except my Oz buddies DL without a IDP, that may of changed now. But as most people that have been here a while know not all DLT's operate the same. In my first post I just tried explain in a simple way what OP can do.

You can't reset an EGR with a coder.

They cleaned a filter on my Isuzu but I think the older Isuzu's maybe can't be cleaned. I heard as well they get clodded up cause people don't rev the engine enough.

As far as I know you can't. My Oz buddy didn't have an IDP with his DL and just took a Motorbike test rather than go back to Oz. Anyway he was staying for a good few years so needed a Thai DL anyhow.
