  1. It's not hard to ride a sportsbike or a super sportsbike on roads in Thailand it depends where you are and what kind of rider you are.
  2. Why can you start a bike or a geared car then with a flat battery.
  3. What you yourself wants to do will be dealt with by the Work Labour dept as to whether you can do it or you need a work permit. No need for all that it really is decided as it said in the first place " you need the right visa for a work permit ". Forget where the list of jobs a foriengner is allowed to do while staying in Thailand. It's not that many unless you are hired by a international company allow to work in Thailand.
  4. I'm retired too but still like acceration and speed. Not possible for me to go on bike trips on a Wave or the scoot.
  5. Yeah it's sometimes strange to hear what people say talking about bikes I guess it's there opinion so OK. For what's been posted in my book a good choice would be the Kwacka Ninja 650 twin it is a perfect sports bike to have in Thailand as to costs and practability.
  6. The front wheel drive car drives both wheels. !!
  7. Just hoping it not the dam life form not turning up at my house like 2 times before so thanks anyway.
  8. Wouldn't be surprised that's why I asked. ????
  9. Today is my UK pension pay day and usually and I can get from ATM money from Bangkok Bank by 1 o/c. Not so today so will today's Thailand holiday delay a Thai Banks processing of money into my account.
  10. The leading contenders at the moment is Suenat and Penny.
  11. Yes it would run forever as a self supporting EV vehicle and just my idea and I don't think while one battery is propelling the car it could be charged at the same rate while being used that's why the 2 battery system. Obviously there will servicing intervals and battery replacements at some stage. I would think that battery technologies will develop and go further in the future as to the weight and design of systems.
  12. Well to be fair he did say he upgraded. ???? Nice kwacka the 636 use service them too.
  13. What I envisage is the vehicle not being solely reliant on a solar charger alone so when one of the vehicles batteries is propelling the vehicle it is also driving a alternator charging system and at some stage you could switch to the other battery so the used one can recharge.
  14. ???? No that's why I came up with my 2 battery self charging design no need to plug in. Maybe call it an AEV. (All electric vehicle).
  15. I thought the thread was about EV cars not hybrids.
  16. If you don't need clear skies I guess that would be OK. It was that EV car in the video still needs to be charged.
  17. Isn't there a scam thing going on with DHL. I would say there needs to be some direct talking to both parties and you sending by email a copy of your receipt.
  18. Was she involved at all much with the partygate stuff if so the media will start vilifing her from the start.
  19. I'm not into politics I just reckon because of all the media witch hunt was about Bojo and other men a woman not involved in any of it would be like a fresh start.
  20. Theres 4 women left and 2 men hope a woman gets to be Prime Minister which will be better I reckon for Conservative's to stay in power at the next election.
  21. I not interested in educating you about Thailand why don't you ask the insurance companies that issue CTPL.
  22. I thought an EV car is about a car driven by battery power only.
  23. I have long thought of solar charger system on EV cars so in addition why not have 2 batteries in the car and while one battery is being used the solar panel system is charging plus driving an alternater charging system and you just keep switching over from one battery to the other and it would never need any outside charging facility. ????
