What he was describing can you not see the point he was making. -
Has life been what wanted. Honestly No. I just lived life as it developed along with the good and bad. The happiest thing for me was getting out of UK and getting to Thailand.

Thanks for your view. I just want the war to stop whatever. I have worked in Russia among Russian people I like them and was also friends with a Russian couple while there. I wouldn't go as far as to say I have mis-judged any Russians in cities and far outside cities they have seen many western things coming to Russia and enjoying many things that have come from the west. In relatively remote places the communities are very suspicious at first which turns in to crazy party situations. Putin has messed up Russia's future now and western gov's are not without blame when they did have opportunities for better relationships to evolve. Russians are told about things by media about the west just the same way as western people are told by the media of Russia. The way the world has got to where it is now since WW2 is a pretty sad state of affairs. -
Of course and the wrong people with guns, I am from UK and the approach taken by gov & police years ago I think can be seen to make a country relatively safe from gun crime. The problem in UK now is knives I have know idea what one can do about a person being confronted by someone with a knife other than shooting them. ????

I wouldn't call discussing the Russian invasion of Ukraine on a forum a frenzy, fake news is a casualty of war. The root issue you say by all accounts started years ago and mainy in 2014 and was never taken seriously by the west but is now being used by Russia to justify the invasion. The lastest discussions by both sides is biological weapons and chlorine weapons, the vacuum bombs are alledgely already being used. I can't see how the conflict is going to end up one can only speculate. -

Kwasaki replied to brewsterbudgen's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
When you move go to nearest DLT when your road tax & gov insurance is due and get your new address put in your blue book. Change the the number for that province of you want but there is no need to do it. -

Things in Russia have changed so much since that time. I was thinking MacDonalds has pulled out so the Russian manager can just carry on and maybe keep the shop for the staff and himself, thanks. -

Kwasaki replied to Chris.B's topic in The War in Ukraine
Well I don't care what others quote me I would rather stay on topic than reply. My position still is that from the beginning right or wrong on either side there is unnecessary loss of life. What the Ukrainian President rhetoric has been is suicidal. I believe he thought that NATO would come to his aid military. That wasn't going to happen. There are reports than Putin has been planning this for many years and expected the response maybe not as much as has happened in the way of sanctions. All this war is, is food for the media. I still believe that Ukraine even at this stage should surrender to terms to stop the war and loss of life. At some stage Putin will be overthrown and the future could then lead to a better future than the one that is happening now and the way it's heading. -
Ford Ranger pulley noise, anyone have a similar experience
Kwasaki replied to 4MyEgo's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Something like pulleys in my experience wouldn't cause engine problems it's more a case of chains breaking (rare) or the fear of belts breaking. Nowadays a lot more clanking and rattling noises start before engine failures and usually that would happen out of neglect. Sounds to me you've have enjoyed and got a reliable vehicle. -

Yeah your not really the normal truck owner you doing twice kinda Thai average kilos per year. A lot of driving in the rainy season can bring squeakies to motors. If you wanna keep the truck get it fixed at least you have come back on Ford if it still squeaks. Also cheaper than replacing like most companies do. -
Modified vehicles you come across in Thailand.
