  1. Never heard of that before has your mummy just told you.
  2. Mine is Chinese and ok. I didn't have a choice as Honda had discontinued the parts for my bike. I don't know what to say other than I would spend 40 quid and make fit than spend 400.
  3. In one length ridte to eaves you can as low as 5 degrees.
  4. What lockset are you talking about exactly, locks and parts I got is good stuff no worse than OEM.
  5. You have to ask Thai motorbike workshop that work on big bikes locally. I got a universal ignition that I managed to mess about with and make it fit from Ali-express. It came with petrol cap lock which came with a spare lock for the rear opening section on my bike. So only one key fits all.
  6. The thread makes no sense to me mention Pattaya and Retirement. As for the mention of superior wealth that's funny many Thais where I live by comparison I'm very poor. ????
  7. Cheap in Thailand. I concur just had delivery for a one torque bit size I couldn't get locally so bought a set to get the size. ???????? 220 baht. Whow
  8. When I left UK 2005 for good at 57 sold my 1200 bandit to my eldest son. I sold my 92 Blade at a classic price to a collecter. Bought my youngest son 16yr a 50cc 4 stroke Italian thingy he could use on the road and start his UK motorbike DL stages. He was use to riding from 13 yr a 125 yamy motocross bike. He said he could run as fast the 50cc 4 stroke. ???? I passed my m/c test at 16 on a borrowed Bantam. At 22 I passed my advanced motorcycle test. I use to have fun riding with the police on there training session and watch quite a few stack there Pan-am's. ???? I raced my Blade a few times OK but too hairy for my liking but did track days a lot which were fun especially with mates and having different mixes of bikes.
  9. Whatever you do and whatever method you use you make comparisends by taking temperatures before and after. When I insulated my upstairs bedroom ceiling in a compact way over the area the best thing apart from the air-con producing results quickly and not kicking in and out for long periods of time was the the noise level. ????
  10. I'm asking the question as there's no comparison to where I live and Pattaya that's all fling me.
  11. There's lots of don't know until it happens in Thailand. How would you know the answer to your question until the situation arises. If my truck hit the motorcycle taxi with a passenger whoever my insurance would pay for there care. If it was the Taxi motorbike fault the passenger would be covered by CTPL. As for costs go for falangies in that situation who knows where that would lead.
  12. I would say many will agree with your findings nothing wrong with that, you have achieved what you like. You can justify them as much as you like and they are beneficial. As I have said personally from architectal and aesthetic point view and the type of house design they will look ugly in many cases and there are many other alternative ways to achieve house heat insulation.
  13. Well there will be mixed opinions and it also depends where you live, if I were you I'd shop around for sure if you have the cash. Cash can also get you one hell of a up market motor at a steal price S/H in a private deal.
  14. If you want to pay through the nose for helmets brands that sponsor or imported helmet makes because your OCD that's up to you. You can find perfectly good motorcycle helmets in Thailand there's no need to pay more than 3k to 4k if you shop around for a helmet that fits you comfortabley. I have found my reasonabley priced helmet a full face H2C.
  15. Global house has underlay to use.. Rolls of polythene can be used. Boarding or metal lining panels can be used. Mesh and Fibreglass can be used. Someone who knows and has done underlay and tiling before can be used.
  16. Apologies a Canada Honda manufacture assembly thing only and some bad complaints from all accounts. Jeep and Toyota are outselling them.
  17. What makes you think that they are a Japanese ute from Honda and in Japan they have righthand drive vehicles and obviously drive on the left.
  18. Yes for many years and much more available in many places now in Thailand.
  19. Concrete roof tiles are perfectly good to install with a suitable and proffesionally layed underlay can last between 50 and 100 years. There are minimum degree pitches which are important to adhere to but as always at the end of the day the installation of the roof materials and finishing has to be carry out by a competent trained roofworker.
  20. Don't think they will be available in Thailand. Don't know if it could be ordered or imported but if possible the price would be unrealistic being pick ups already available not comparable but are reasonable like say a top of the range Nissan pick up.
  21. Yes many underlays are available. The problem here is workmanship.
