UK Passport renewal
Kwasaki replied to The Hammer2021's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
Yes. -
I found Isuzu just as bad Toyota dealerships. The service schedules book given with the truck is good though from Isuzu. It lists checks or work required in English & Thai. So when I go Cockpit I give them the opened book page sheldule ticking what I want done. It works a treat but I do have a quick check myself when home, no big deal. The funny thing last time was the mechanic wrote underneath everywhere with chalk OK. I think after going there for some 14 years with 5 different vehicles we have a good relationship. ????

UK Passport renewal
Kwasaki replied to The Hammer2021's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
I think validity for 9 months is possible. Best ask @ubonjoe -
Well it's frozen already. ???? I understand my pension was withheld twice because of non delivery of life form. When it happened the second time I ask them to email me a download of the form which they did. Since the pandemic I believe and Brexit I have not been sent a life form. So I have been emailing them just in case asking if any life forms have been sent to me. They just wrote in replying my pension is still being paid and your last life form has been received. If your concerned ring the IPC up.

Download the forms for UK passport renewal and all the information is there. If you use an agent like I did they need to keep your old passport to be able to collect your new one. -

Put a db app on my phone and with the silencer piece fitted it reads 86 decibels. Although the end can is a cheap copy that's well within limits so not bad. -
Well buy some there cheap enough. ????

Well the cheap thin cotton turn out to be good enough for me and not thin. ????

Probably just a bad egg it happens. Has the warranty been checked for what is covered, I would of that is covered as a factory fault and should be covered by warranty. You have Honda's contact details for Japan so needs to contact them.

What does compulsory insurance and car tax look like?
Kwasaki replied to Thomastm's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Some insurance companies say free as a carrot but it's not really free they just pay it for you. As you say 1 letterheaded sheldule receipt for CTPL & 1 letterheaded sheldule for the voluntary insurance cover. Same documents for motorcycles. -
Sounds like a bad dealer buying a completely flooded out car cheap and passing problems on to an owner. Is he sure the warranty does cover bodywork problems. Honda own batteries are guaranteed for 1 year and had experience of them failing 1 year and 1 week. ???? Outdoor replacement. As for tyres main dealers are hoping they are always talking to mugs who will listen to them.

I did that with a motorbike problem and Honda Japan were great. Have you got the number for OP. Because I tried to contact them again sometime over a year ago and couldn't get to find any contact to Japan. Messages were contact your local Honda dealership. ????

You would get more answers in motorbike forum maybe. I understand the young Thai guys doing silly things with there Waves & scooters because they have then own beliefs in why. Most that I've seen of a majority of Thai big bike riders is on the whole reposible also what I seen of Farangies riding. Agree to remove mirrors for road use is irresponsible not something I would do, understand why they do it for track racing. Never seen slick tyres in Thailand on the road only worn bald ones. ???? My sportsbike tyres have some pattern but there not wet tyres.

I spent all my savings the first 7 years of retiring in Thailand my Mrs kept me for 2 years. ????????

Not trying to be pedantic , just setting the record straight - Mazda stopped selling CX-9 in LOS many years ago - and replaced it in this market with the updated CX-8 . There are 3 for sale on One2Cars.com now - all 09/10 year models. In this country, Mazdas' bread and butter has been the Mazda2, Mazda3 & BT50 models. OK well they did have here, the that comes to our soi from Bkk looks new.
-
Well there's quite few for sale in Bangkok and a neighbour in my Soi who has visits from family their from Bangkok has a CX9.

It's a smear of grease in motorcycle terms. ????

300-350k Baht Budget to buy 2nd pickup Truck
Kwasaki replied to hhtown's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
All I can say is not all Thais are stupid when it comes to owing trucks and cars which is the main consensus on forums such as this. I know many Thais that service cars not always at dealers only those who not know much and want to keep up the warranty because they change their vehicle every 3 years. There are a number of good private garage set ups around and Thais use them because the main dealerships are expensive, there family owned or there friends.. Many go to our local Cockpit outlet as I do, been going there ever since the first so called free service and you get an invoice which you keep. -
Apologies to all clicked on the wrong bit. 21 races, Dovi's back on Yamaha..
